Came in for dinner last night with my wife, food was great as always. We sat Near the bar, we noticed the bartender and other employees being rowdy and what seemed to be a lot of drinking seemed like our dinner was more of a party for the waitstaff. Probably won t be coming back since Sonny s in town.

Yikes. This was a disappointment. The service was incredibly sub-par. My grandfather asked for directions regarding seating at the front, to which the hostess turned around and ignored him and started laughing with the other hostess. The man before us had to wait 5 minutes to even be addressed by those two. In addition, we were told no tables would be ready for 20 minutes. We walked into the bar, and only about 50% of the tables are seated. The bartender ended up asking us if the hostess knew we had a table, which we said yes. The hostess returned to us and informed us that she forgot about us even though we specifically told her we were in the bar. Probably because she wasn t paying attention. Finally once seated, our waitress was friendly but seemingly a rookie. I asked for deviled eggs as an appetizer - she said she would check. Well dinner came, no appetizer, so I asked about the eggs, she said she forgot to let me know they were out of the item. Not to mention ALSO out of literally everything barbecue but pulled pork and beef brisket. No chicken, no turkey, no RIBS! Talk about a letdown. As far as food, beef brisket and pulled pork sandwich were good. Gumbo was good-sized cup, but way too salty. Pecan pie was very very good. Salad was also fresh and good. However, my grandmother asked for a side of Texas toast but never got it. Waitress seemed noticeably tired and stressed, I m assuming rookie status and new to job (silly mistakes and forgetfulness). She never introduced herself so I do not have the name. She was friendly, though and seemed genuine. Overall, not impressive: amateur service, good food (if they aren t out) and basic homestyle southern atmosphere. Would not recommend for large groups or those on a timely schedule. I also recommend coming early in the weekend prior to avoid ordering items they no longer have in stock. I might visit again but this restaurant did in no way stand out to me to invite me back.

Their website for online order is great but the food lacks flavor. We got family meal and it is okay. Prices are good, and they have an organized system for curbside pickup. We asked for extra BBQ sauce and they gave us a lot, sadly I didn't like the sauce.

We have been to Grover T's two times. We went on a weekend which is a very busy time. We also had lunch during the week and it wasn't super busy. The menu has something for everyone and the food is very good. We will be back!

Pepsi products vice Coke is always a problem for me. Walking inRob the waiting area; the smell of urinal cakes from the bathroom was overwhelming.

This being said. Service was excellent. Apps & margaritas were Happy Hour prices ALL DAY Saturday. Main entrees were ok but apps were really good.

I would eat here again but wouldn t go out of my way to drive here to eat.

Service was great, but food was not good. Pulled pork had hard burnt pieces in it. I think it was the last of the day. My husband's brisket had more fat than meat. The amount of food was not worth the price.

MY WIFE AND I HAD LUNCH ABOUT 2PM, ONLY ABOUT 10 CUSTOMERS. I ORDERED CHOPPED BRISKET DINNER WHICH I HAVE ORDERED BEFORE AND WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH TASTE OF BEEF. MY WIFE HAD BBQ 1/4 CHICKEN DINNER AND SHE ADVISED CHICKEN BREAST WAS SLIGHTLY DRY. MACARONI SIDES WERE GREAT.

I've heard a lot about Grover T's in Milton, and tried it out today. The fried green tomatoes, okra, and catfish were amazing!! Took my Dad some catfish, and got me a carryout of bbq for later. Service exceptional, food excellent!!!

Every time I have been here it has been really good but kind of disappointed this time my brothers and my orders were not right but my daughters daughter's and dad's were. The food was luke warm at best to cold and my daughter's mac and cheese was more like mashed potatoes and cheese. I don't know what happened because they are usually really good. Just really disappointed with this visit

Excellent pulled pork and the smoked sausage was spot on. I also had the collard greens and black-eyed peas, just like grandma used to make. Staff was super friendly and very responsive to our needs.

My turkey sandwich had a thick slice of smoked turkey, with apple smoked bacon, lettuce and tomato. It was very good. My only quibble was that it was on bread. After the first few bites, it had to be eaten with a knife and fork. My lunch companion said his loaded potato with pulled pork was also very good. Will definitely return.
