This is a must go. Very clean inside the restaurant and friendly waitress. The food was fairly priced and you received a good portion. The happy hour for food and drinks is amazing.

Professional and helpful staff along with delicious food!
my family love this place the food and service is EXCELLENT:)
Local owned, local loved! Marvelous food, great service!
Employees are wonderful. Service is fast. Doordash service is excellent. Employees make sure all items are correct, sealed and packed with sauces and silverware packs.
Excellent food and what most important always hot when delivered to the table. My favorite dish is Catfish dinner 2 or 3 large pieces of catfish with two sides which the best is baked beans and potatoes casserole. Great bakery with corn muffins on the top. ;)
Waitress was good. Catfish is farm raised but not spring fed so it has that dirt taste to it. Shrimp etouffee tasted like cream of chicken soup with ramen shrimp flavor. In all honesty I'll probably never go back.
Turkey sandwich was good. Place could use some updating.
We absolutely love the food....environment and service. This is now my number one go to restaurant.
Drove past several times and finally decided to stop. The food was ok, nothing special but the bbq sauce tasted off. My mom loved the pulled chicken so I was glad to hear she enjoyed something which is why I give 3 stars
Poor service. Got to restaurant an there was well over 30 tables. We are family of 5 an have been waiting over an hour
Excellent menu with even better service. Highly recommend this family restaurant!
My family and I are new to Florida and we decided to try this restaurant tonight. We ordered takeout over the phone and I was able to pick up through the drive through (which was a very cool addition). I wish I knew the girls name who was working the window, I kicked myself as soon as I left for not asking (or noticing if they wore tags) because she was VERY nice. Before I even got the food, I text my husband and told him that based on her alone, I'd come back.
Got the food home, and it was very good! I got the Hog Boss burger (I think that's name name) it was great, especially with the BBQ sauce. The only suggestion I would have it to maybe add just a tiny container of cole slaw just to add on top, because I "wasted" (I used that term very lax because the cole slaw was very good) on a big thing of it as my side so I could put it on my burger and I wanted to try all the sides, haha. My husband got the Rib combo with brisket and he raved about it! He got the baked beans and potato casserole as his sides, and he also loved those! We ordered my son the Mac and cheese and chicken tenders, the chicken was very tender and that's good for a One and a half year old! My husband loved the Mac and cheese, I did find it a little salty, but he said he didn't and ended up eating the rest of the pint that our son didn't eat, so much for leftovers lol. We got the fried dill pickle chips too and those were also yummy, the only downside is they weren't very takeout friendly in the sense that they were a tad soggier when we got them home; but I find that that's a problem with all takeouts when you order the fried dill pickles. They were still delicious!
We will definitely be back! Thank you for dinner!
Wait staff was courteous but not professional, probably just out of highschool. Texas toast was unremarkable. Pork was tasty but not as good as Sonnys. I didn't care for the sauces so I added pepper sauce. That helped. The onion rings are always good while warm, but let 'em get cold and they get hard. Average.
I love this place! The best southern food in the area.
I don t even know where to begin ! Everyone was so gosh darn nice !!! I did a catering sampling it was AMAZING! Fantastic food ,customer service , and a great environment and clean restaurant! I can t wait for them to cater my wedding ! Thank you so much Holland for all your help ! You guys are awesome !
Grover T'S never disappoint. If you want excellent food this is the place. Service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend the sliced briscuit. Also be sure to try the fried pickles, or jalapenos.
We went on a Wednesday afternoon and practically had the place to ourselves. I had the bacon cheddar burger with onion rings. My husband had the 2 meat combo with baked beans and potato casserole. We got the loaded fries as an appetizer thanks to our awesome server's suggestion. Everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were so big that we struggled to finish our food. The service was so friendly and efficient. Even though we are just here for a few days while on vacation, I know we'll be back!
Poor service, one particular waitress needs to be checked with attitude and others major things. Siblings in management seems to not address these things well, because I have read multiple reviews on this waitress. And she seems to still be employed. Guess that's just the way it is when you work under family things just get dismissed.
I use to enjoy dinner here, but never again!
I love your fried green tomatoes.!! Your blt's are awesome. Very good food!!
Great place to eat ribs are great as well as the brisket
The wait staff is very friendly, and very knowledgeable. The food is bland however, my plate was the cat fish sandwich and there was no taste to the fish. The baked beans were flavorful however that might be due to them being from a can. And it might be a misprint bit the chocolate brownie is actually a cake delivered hot, light, and airy. The decor is very 70-80s ish. And as for them being a bar B Que restaurant, there is no smell of the bar b Que from the parking lot to bring customers in. The biggest problem that I seem to see is that back kitchen staff are in a big impatience. Always yelling for wait staff and getting upset if there is no response. And although the wait staff is very friendly, reaching over people's shoulder and not excusing themselves is a bit rude. Over all I'd say this is a good family restaurant, good eatery, I would eat here again, if there was no alternative
Best Bar B Que in town. Seriously! I love their combo plates, you can choose 2 meats for $14 or 3 meats for $16. It is a little pricey but it's well worth every penny. I usually make mine two meals. This time I got the pulled chicken, pulled pork, and smoked sausage, oh my gosh that sausage is to die for. The slaw and mac and cheese sides were both delicious. Though it doesn't seem to matter what you order, I've never gotten a bad bite. Just be sure when you go to order some fried pickles and banana pudding, you won't be sorry!
Good place. Good food. They accommodated a large group with no problem. Nice people.
Grover's is a great barbeque restaurant. They do a lot of catering and I will recommend them. Good pricing and quality food.
I used to eat here all the time but since Milton has gone greedy with their traffic light cams i stay away from that town and anything in it.
Been here a few times. Good stuff. Like the Southern style.
Two meat plate is awesome to try many thing's at once. Carved Turkey is choice and awesome. Not something you see often.
The food was good- the service was terrible- the waitress did not even stop by our table to see if everything was ok-my husband had to get up to get some condiments and refill tea- never brought the bill to the table had to go to the door and wait again to just get the bill
True home southern cooking. The fried pickles were AMAZING. Was there for lunch definitely want to go back for dinner!
Amazing brisket. I love their fried mushrooms appetizer.
I got pulled chicken and turkey. It was fantastic!! The service was terrific. The building was clean. It was an enjoyable relaxing experience
The BBQ was good the wait at the drive through was long. It is understandable to wait for fries or fresh made items but over 15 minutes for 3 small sandwiches and 1 drink was a bit long. Overall satisfaction would be just satisfied. Would return if dining in to try other items.
Ive been here twice and enjoyed everything both times. We ordered two combo BBQ platters. One brisket & chicken- sides of mac & cheese/ collard greens. One sausage/ pulled pork- side of cole slaw. Both were delicious. No complaints except how long the kitchen took to prepare the food but we were enjoying our time so it wasn't a problem.
I've only eaten here twice, but both times were amazing. Food was great, the people were nice, and the cost is reasonable.
Our first time here and everything was great! I got the salad with brisket and my boyfriend got ribs and brisket. The fried okra was lightly fried and very tasty and the corn bread muffins were to die for. We will definitely be back! Friendly service too!
Atmosphere was good and our service was great. Flavor was inline with expectations. Mac & Cheese was a little bland to me but to be fair I am a cheese snob and my judgement may be a little harsh on a cheese dish. Will definitely return!
Was the worst had plenty of tables opened and did not seat us because the kitchen was over loaded with orders from a couple of big parties so it was wait in lobby while the church crowd was piling in. Could have seated us and give us some drinks and not be so crowded.
Don't deserve to be rated. Worst outing my family and I in a long time
I've been to eat in this building a few times before today, but this was my first time under the name 'Grover T's. I was pleasantly surprised. They now have a larger menu, still built around barbecue, and a full bar. We had barbecue and a fish plate. Both were huge servings, tasted fresh and were served hot. The sides (onion rings, Cole slaw and baked beans) were generous portions and tasty. Didn't try the bar today, but well be back.
I've heard really great things about this place from many people; unfortunately when I went in, the experience wasn't the best in the world. We were told that they were out of bread, brisket, pork (other than pulled), ribs, sausage, and several other items. I get that sometimes things happen, but that was most of what I drove 40 minutes for. The food I ended up having was great, as were the drinks, but unfortunately the service was pretty slow (and during what appeared to be a low volume time), and it ended up taking an abnormally long time for both the drinks and food. Overall I think they were probably pretty good, but unfortunately due to the mediocre service, and lack of food (especially your staple foods -- you're a freaking BBQ place, figure it out) 3 stars is where it stays for now.
My mother's day lunch with my family, I picked Grover T's myself. I found HAIRS!!
Not ok!! Not just ONE but TWO of them!! In our food!! One was in the mac and cheese and the other was found in the fried okra!! And that is pretty damn sorry!! I was ok about the first one that was found but a second one was found was discussing!! Two hairs found in different kinds of food makes me wonder what else is in the food that we can't see!! So eat at your own risk for me hair isn't a part of my diet!! I will never eat there again!!
Went in with my daughter to pickup some by the pound meat. We decided on a pound of turkey and a pound of pork. My wife and kid absolutely demolished the turkey. It was some of the most flavorful and moist BBQ turkey I've ever eaten. The sauce they provided tasted great, a little sweet, with a touch of apple. The sauce was very nice on the turkey. The pulled pork was just as good... the smell was so intense, the smoke, the pork.. just amazing.. I really enjoyed my BBQ from Grover T's BBQ! Highly recommended!
Loved loved loved the friend green tomatoes with shrimp etoufe.. yummy
We took our family here while they were in town on October 26th. We had never eaten here before but decided to try it since it usually seemed to be pretty busy. My grandpa, my mom and myself all got pork. They got ribs and I got a pulled pork sandwich. The ribs were definitely not fall off the bone and were actually pretty tough, my sandwich felt like it was barely warm, but tasted OK. Fast forward a few hours and everyone that got the pork is violently sick coming out both ends all night. I will never eat here again. I'd give 2 stars only because the service was great, and it's probably an isolated incident since they seem to have many great reviews, but this one time was enough for me and I will not be back. I missed a wedding reception my wife had been looking forward to for some time because I was too sick to go.
Great place for BBQ. We were passing thur Pensacola. This place was recommended and what a great experience. Great wait staff and great ribs!
Awesome food...you really get a lot for the money.!
Amazing food wonderful prices Grover t's is the place to go if you want good barbecue
Everything is really really good! Pulled pork and brisket were moist and cooked perfectly. Ribs are some of the best I have ever had. Sides are made from scratch and delicious.
The service was fast and the waiter was super friendly
Love their food my favorite is of course their fried green tomato options. We got the BBQ covered green tomatoes today they were the bomb!
I enjoyed the chicken tender dinner with fries, greens, and corn bread. We also ordered the fried pickles and pork rinds with cheese dip.
Great food, reasonable prices and rarely a wait. We enjoy meeting friends there for dinner and catching up.
We just happened to stumble upon this place during our cross country road trip and we are SO GLAD we did! Our family loves loves loves bbq so our standards are high. We were absolutely blown away by quality of the bbq meat! The smoked turkey was unbelievably tender and tasted fantastic. The ribs were the best we ve ever had. They perfectly fall off the bone and still had a crispy outside. The seasoning on the ribs was also fantastic. They really did an outstanding job!!! The restaurant was clean with a welcoming atmosphere and the staff was friendly and efficient. If you re in the area you have to give it a try!
Very inconsistent. The family meal was a joke. Very expensive. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's terrible. Too expensive to take chances on.
Grover T's has never let us down! Friendly staff and awesome hot food! I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner!
This is a great local BBQ joint. We go here often for the weeknight & Saturday app specials. They have good sized portions for a good price.
They catered for our wedding and everything went great. Food was delicious and it went off without a hitch. Would recommend them to cater any event.
Compared to a Sunny's, this place is horrible! Just got back from that place, I ordered the Ribs with baked beans, fries, and texas toast, and a sweet tea to wash it down. It looked and smelled great when it came out, but low and behold, wrong. When I bit into the french fries, it was nothing but a mouthful of garbage can, you know how you can assume how something taste by the smell? Well, this was it, straight garbage can, then I moved to the baked beans, ZERO flavor, then I went to the texas toast, there was no butter or garlic or anything, just a piece of toast, dry as hell. Then finally the ribs, the "BBQ Sauce", was bland as hell, then the meat had nooooo flavor(no rub or seasonings), then the sweet tea was very unsweet and was watered down. BUT, the service there was excellent, my waitress was on top of everything and veryyyy sweet and helpful. As far as the food, I will stick to making my own ribs.
I miss the Red Bar, and While I'm at it, Grandma's. This place is too expensive for the service and the food that I received. They got rid of the sweet savory fall of the bone ribs to tough vinegar base ribs.
Very good BBQ, good service, poor
Beer selection. We like it.
Portion sizes are awesome! Buffalo chicken is always great. Service is always friendly! Sometimes the wait is long for our food but we honestly don't mind because the food is always delicious!!
