Grover T's BBQ Review

I don't generally like bbq, but my husband wanted to go and I decided to give it a try. Boy was I surprised and the flavor and quality at a reasonable price. Great local bbq with great options!

Terrible service from our waitress Haleigh. Did have a large party of 11 but seriously terrible service no matter how many people we had. Waited over 25 minutes to order our food, still ordered an appetizer anyways but it never came out. Asked about it when she brought out all the meals and she said "oh they never brought that out to yall?" Said she would make up for it and bring us a desert.. that never came out either. I needed ranch and waved to her, she looked the other way so I went to the bar to find ranch. Ended up having a 20% tip automatically added to our check that we thought wasn't deserved. Didn't ask about the tip because oh well we won't be back anyways.

Takes 15 mins to get deviled eggs and pissy ass service and it doesn't need that one star! But wont post without it

Server was pleasant and kept a pretty good eye on us. A party of four, so we were chatting and distracted. (I usually try and engage with our server). So kudos to her for a good job.
The food was good, based on consensus with the onion rings getting super high marks.
The sides were very typical southern and very nicely prepared and tasty.
Overall, I reccomend Grover T's and we'll be back.

Very impressed! I had the pulled pork and brisket combo. The presentation of the food was unexpected and welcomed. Great job! I found the pulled pork tasty! The brisket had great flavor but was a little dry (I'll give them a pass on the brisket because brisket is not easy). My sides consisted of green beans and fries. The green beans were on POINT. Our service was just as good as the food and the restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. No doubt I'll return soon to try the ribs. Great experience for those wanting good BBQ.

Last night was our first time here. The atmosphere is nice. Service was great and the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend checking them out. We will definitely be back.

Love their barbequed, pulled pork! My husband devoured the Boss Hog burger!

Good bbq enjoyed the two meat plate. The menu didn't mention the 2 dollar upcharge for brisquet though but otherwise awesome. Tea was fresh and good.

The ribs were greasy the two times I have had them; the fried catfish is good but the breading borders on too salty; the cheese grits and collard greens are great. My family likes the burgers and BLTs. The service is usually good with outstanding being only 1 out of the 4 times we have been there.

I had the pulled pork which was great. The baked beans were OK, but the collard greens needed a little something. Over all it was good and I will come back when in the area.

The food is fantastic!! My husband and I stopped for lunch and it was great!!! Macey was our waitress and she was awesome. Will definitely be back soon.

Smoked turkey was the best! Loved the collard greens, cooked just right. My husband got the St. Louis ribs and the taste was incredible. Loved the chipotle barbecue sauce.

Had the pulled pork plate with collard greens and smashed potatoes (sic). Eveything was delicious! Very reasonable prices for barbeque and I love the jalapeno corn muffin. Smashed potatoes I wanted four or five servings of but they were so buttery and delicious I was glad to be cut off. I'll be back!

Their food is always spectacular! The only issue I've had is whenever my husband and I go our drinks always seem to be out for a few minutes before a waiter comes back to refill them.

They charged me 6.00 for a small BBQ sandwich with very little sliced pork even tho i asked for chopped. It was a to go order so i didn't look at it til i got home. Very disappointed. Won't go back.
