Beautiful setting and great place for an early morning stroll. Museum entry become quite expensive in recent years.
The wine is the best I've had so far. The staff is so informative
.. I give this place a yaaaas/5. It's a vibe
Lovely experience - beautiful well keps and professional service from the coffee shop
Overrated, and stuck up. What an awful place. Arrived as part of the Red Bus City Sightseeing tour and firstly had to walk down a rather steep incline in the road - dodging cars and sprinklers along the way - just to get to the wine tasting area.
There my group of seven was met with a snotty waiter who told us if we order different wines to taste he won't bring them to our table, we'll have to go up to the bar to get them ourselves.
The wines were OK, but nothing to rave about and we were rushed through our tasting to make way for the next bus load of Chinese tourists.
What an awful place, and definitely a wine estate that can easily be skipped when visiting Cape Town. Rather go to Eagles' Nest or Beau Constantia, just up the road. You'll have a much better time and in a much better setting too.
It seems that Napoleon was also making wine that he drank. There is history, and powerful paintings are displayed, and the atmosphere is very impressive. With a little money, you can taste and get a glass. If you want to go around the winery, this is the best place to go.
This picturesque wine farm offers breath taking views coupled with a life changing wine tasting experience, offering delicious wines to taste. With friendly service and access to wines that are usually exported. The oldest wine farm in South Africa offers an all round memorable experience for any wine lover.
We enjoyed our wine tasting surrounded by beautiful landscapes and friendly staff. It's quite easy to reach from Cape town and some wines are amazing, I wish I had bought more bottles. It was a wonderful day there
The wine is great and the staff are friendly. Top wines to taste are the Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz if you prefer red :)
Lovely location. Delicious wine. This is a pretty commercial winery though. Lots of people.
Beautiful and well kept, great spot for a proper tasting experience, remember to Uber
We arrived late and evething was rushed.. But all in all its a beautiful place, and the stuff is friendly.. Nice wine but I ddnt like that we can't take photos at the museum..
Must have - if you visit Capetown. Great wines - love the red "Lady of Abundance" ... enjoy a meal at "simons restaurant"
