Pure SPIRITUAL BLISS...I have been coming to the Green Spa from Long Island (worth the drive) ever since I became more conscious and aware of all the toxins in main stream skin care products. The Green Spa uses all natural, organic products that work so well for my skin. I even buy all natural nail polish and makeup from them and give them as gifts. I stepped in to try a facial 10 years ago and have never looked back. It s a lovely place in every aspect: the hospitality, all natural spa services rendered, organic products used, meditative ambience ,calming energy and decor. From the moment you step in you feel like you are far away from the bustling Bay Ridge scene for a couple of hours. Being a business owner, wife and mom of 3, I am grateful to them for providing therapeutic and relaxing spa experiences to help me unwind and decompress. I am now off on Mondays and am looking forward to visiting daily to distress and shed the everyday environmental pollution from my skin. See you in a month!- AnnMarie

We were charged $125 for canceling an appointment late. I understand needing to charge something for cancellation but when circumstances force you to miss, that's an unreasonable amount of money and We will never go back. We found a stray dog on the street and have been looking for hours to place him in a shelter. So we have to put the dog back on the street or go to the spa. Obviously we choose the dog and I hope the spa figures out a better cancellation policy if they want long term clients.

Great day spa for organic skincare products, facials and massages, vegan mani-pedis, body treatments, and acupuncture. They also have classes and events like yoga, feng shui, and Reiki.

I have been coming to this place since it opened and I have never had a bad experience. I have taken various family members and friends here for special occasions and it was always a truly wonderful experience. I will continue to come here I hope for years to come! It is truly one of the few gems left in Bay Ridge.

I come here once every year for my anniversary and everytime I went it was better than the last. The workers there have positive attitudes and it's great service. Granted it's a bit on the expensive side but it's worth every penny. I always come out glowing and relaxed.

Ever have one of those, "Oh No!" Moments when you bend or move quickly and feel a sharp pain shoot through your back? Last week I bent down and reached for my puppy, something I do all the time... However, I'm now 5 months pregnant and my body is changing EVERYDAY!
The pain was crippling! From mid back to my hips, it was a rock solid sheet of pain.
Sitting, standing, laying down...it all hurt. Sleeping was nearly impossible as those of you who are or have been pregnant know it is tricky to sleep comfortably as it is.
The day this happened, I went to The Green Spa and had an Acupuncture treatment with Zorina.
She has helped me tremendously in the past with many pain challenges and I was in such excruciating pain I couldn't even imagine getting a massage yet and having someone touch me.
My injury happened last Thursday, I saw Zorina for Acupuncture on Thursday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
After every treatment I could feel the pain changing and no where near as intense as the day before. On Tuesday something really weird happened. I told Zorina after the session that I had fallen asleep and woke up with a spasm in my lower back but fell back asleep after that. She explained that it was a blockage moving, this was a tremendous break through! I felt a huge difference after Tuesday's treatment!! Everyday I felt a little better but after Tuesday it was a world of a difference!
After Thursday's treatment I was ready for a massage...I had my first 90min pre-natal massage!
There aren't enough words to thank Zorina for her help. If you're pregnant and having pain but aren't sure what to do for it...GO SEE ZORINA!
I look forward to continuing to see her throughout my pregnancy to maintain the results she has given me. I'm forever thankful to have found her!

I been there for the first time and had massage with great therapist LEE, she was amazing! she heal me, had so much backache she did a good job, recommend her, the staff are friendly, I want to try their facial soon, looks they are professional

Such a nice experience they do wonderful nails and feet. Very clean. Goldmine on the east side.

Imagine this -- after walking through the streets of Brooklyn on 3rd avenue, you open the door to magic. Soothing sounds n the background, waterfalls throughout this three floor place of tranquility.

As soon as I walked in, you are warmly greeted and offered a beverage. You are then swept away to one of the floors where you are getting treatment. I was getting a lavender scrub, a eucalyptus bath and a facial. Everything was up to par and then some. I was able to sit in the peaceful waiting room with my tea and reflect on my day. After my treatment was done, I received a complimentary freshen up make up.

I would totally recommend this amazing place. All the facilities are clean, the staff are pleasant and the owners are very kind. In addition, all the products they use are organic. I had such a great day and I thank you for well needed serenity.

I decided to return years later to the spa even though my last experience was awful!!!! I wanted to give it one more chance. The two therapists were very nice but the service wasn't that great in comparison to other times when I received the same service in other places. Their policies about cancellation and holding your credit card is absurd. Also their constant confirmations are annoying, as well as, them pushing their products on you. I give it 1 star because the therapists were nice. I would not recommend this place they seem too needy for business.

It was an amazing experience. I came here almost 10 years ago with my mother in law and today with my husband. It was extremely soothing. My husband, who previously thought massages were a waste of time, now wants to plan on doing 1 on a monthly basis... go figure.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED! I made an appointment for ACUPUNCTURE At 12 o clock on May 7.
After checking in ,I filled out the necessary information and I was led to a room where the therapist came in and began giving me a massage. I m wasn t aware of his procedure being this was the first time with him. So I remained silentI. About 20 minutes in, I did say I am a little surprised I came here for acupuncture and I got a massage. The therapist replied oh OK Then stuck three small pins in me near the end of our session
. When told the girl at the front desk about the mixup.all she did was to try to sell me some sort of cream. I then paid $150 , and left a $10 tip( because I don t think it was the therapists fault ). And just walked out. I was very disappointed at the lack of concern when I told them I got the wrong treatment. I WILL NEVER RETURN . My technician was very nice and the massage was very good. But it s not it all what I intended to spend $150 on . Which for me is a whole lot of money. And financially I m not someone that would ever spend $150 for just a massage . It was not what I wanted .AND AGAIN THE GIRL BEHIND THE COUNTER DID T EVEN SAY THEY WERE SORRY. Or seem to even care.. I really don t have that kind of money to throw away. I am a senior citizen and felt as though I was a bit taken advantage of.

Services are not professional. Therapists are not well-skilled and don't know what a customer service is. The place isn't suitable for relaxation -- very narrow hallways, tiny rooms, extremely small lounge area with uncomfortable chairs. I would never go back to or recommend this spa to anyone.

Just a few words about the green spa

I always have been skeptical about these kind of places. I've been to a few and had bad experiences.

I always tense because I'm afraid that they will hurt me when either getting a massage, facial etc.

Fyi I have had nothing but great, relaxing and amazing massages.

I feel very comfortable with the green spa therapists.

I dont tighten up, I do relax and enjoy the moment. I'm very comfortable with every one of the therapists.

Kudos to them for making me relax during my time there.

I really like this spa. They have great services and great products. But there service is sometimes lacking.

Love really this place. Great services, great atmosphere and great customer service. I am a repeat customer. Mostly I purchase the therapeutic deep tissue massage, which is always so relaxing. I have also enjoyed the organic pedicure and oxygen facials. I really like that the building has been retrofitted to be environmentally friendly and that they choose to use all natural and organic products. Great place for gift certificates. Highly recommended.

Great place for massages, decent prices and cozy setting. Very good for couples massages or any array of celebrations. I like that they you feel at home everytime your there with complementary wine, tea and natural flavor water.

I had an absolutely wonderful facial last week at the Green Spa and Wellness Center. Everyone was extremely welcoming and I was immediately treated to a mimosa! The facial was extremely thorough and there was a constant dialogue so that i was always aware of what was being done and what I could expect. I highly recommend the spa and I have heard that their massages as well as their evening group sessions that include reiki, meditation are excellent.

Been going here for a long time, I never had a bad experience. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and very relaxing. I mostly go for massage/scrub and facial, it is really a great experience from the moment you walk in. They also have good monthly specials that is easy on the wallet, so be sure to check website for current deals.

I've only ever had massages here, and aside from one massage therapist who was brusque and rude, have had a lovely experience. I love the squishy, soft robe, the surprisingly comfortable sandals they provide, and the little seating area with water and such to slowly get back to reality. The darkness and soft music really make it feel like you're no longer in Brooklyn!

I have had multiple visits also and never ever had a problem until now.

November 18,2015 I had an appointment with Linda for my eyelashes and paid $207.96 which is quite expensive. I was thrilled and very happy with the minx lashes she gave me..No complaints. I was told I needed to make an appt. for 3 weeks and I would get 5% discount. I spoke to the receptionist and was given December 9,2015 for my next appt.
I arrived on time and the date I was given 12/9/2015. I was told my appt. was not until January 21,2015. I said that's a mistake because I was told not to wate longer then 3 weeks.

One of the young ladies put a few eyelashes in so I didn't look ridiculous with the lashes that were coming off. My next appt was today 12/17/2015. Linda the original young lady put them on. She was very nice,but asked me if I wanted the minx or the synthetic lashes. I told her I know nothing about either one and she was the expert. So synthetic were applied. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. When I looked in the mirror and she put the light on I saw no difference. It simply looked like my regular eyelashes. I immediately told Linda I did not like it and was not happy with these eyelashes that now cost me $84.38 a 15% discount because of someone's mistake with wrong schedule. It looks like nothing was done. I was very disappointed very unhappy. I even told the ladies at the front desk. No one seemed to respond or try to make things better. I even tried calling you ladies and was told you left. I left my name and number and really would like to rectify this situation..I spend All of my money and would at least like to be satisfied with the results of my hard earned money. I tried to e-mail you directly,but could not find a site for this. I would like my eyelashes done correctly. That is all I am asking for.

I had an eyebrow sculpt and dye as well as a lash tint. Rina did an amazing job- and I m a person who rarely gives 5 stars for anything. The place is a really nice, soulful day spa. I plan on going back to try more services.

Also, they carry a lot of upscale French lotions (you can t beat the French at skincare, not even the Koreans) as well as a ton of vegan and organic products which is a big deal for some people.

Every treatment and every visit has always been an awesome experience. From the quality of the treatments to the special care received by the staff. The best.

Always accommodating always professional. I have very ticklish feet and they were very good.

This is not a good place to visit for spa services. The services are second rate. The rooms are dark making it difficult to see if the waxing is done correctly. I went home and saw multiple areas of hair remaining on my legs and returned promptly. I was told to come back later in the day when they might have time to correct the problem. Several attempts to discuss the matter with a manager failed. Terrible customer service. The other services are not at the level of a real spa. Don't waste your money.

I TRULY LOVE this spa.... It's the only place I go for my massages and other pampering needs. If it weren't so expensive, I'd go MORE often. Always a truly believer in that you get what you pay for MOST of the time in life, this spa holds true to that. The experience is always peaceful and relaxing from the moment you step in the door. I have been to this spa a number of times and I have to say it is wonderful. Manicure/Pedicure by Tanya is excellent. She is so professional and friendly. I've had a number of massages but the last one I've had was the best. Vanessa is excellent, asks you how much pressure you want if you have any problem areas and works with you. I will continue to visit this spa.

Me & wife came here for a couples massage on my birthday 4/12 and I requested for a deep tissue massage and I received a massage that was equivalent to my six year old massage. However, wife enjoyed hers.

I initially called to ask a bunch of questions and was greeted and had all of my questions answered without hesitation. I scheduled a package consisting of a massage, foot and leg treatment, facial and mani/pedi. All of my services occurred seamlessly! Everyone knew my name and what I was having next. There was always someone overing my a snack or beverage. The environment was calming and the dim lights really set the tone for meditation. I could not have been more pleased with the services I received. There was even personalized recommendations for follow up visits with no pressure or up sale at checkout. I will most certainly be returning to this paradise hidden in Bay Ridge.

For x-mas I purchased my wife a $100 gift card. She used it a few months afterwards to get a massage. She described her experience there as awful and very similar to torture!
The masseuse had long nails, and her nails were constantly digging into her back. She also said her attitude wasn't the friendliest towards her. Some people say it's good spa center, but we will not be spending our hard earned money there again!!

This is the only spa I have been going to for almost 10 years now. I have tried many others and none measure up to the amazing salon experience I always have at the Green Spa. Top notch service from a professional/caring staff, relaxing atmosphere and skin care products- all natural and top quality. Highly recommend!

I have been a patron of the Green Spa for many years. I have attended their workshops, received oxygen facials, mani/pedis, massages, and body scrubs. I have purchased gift cards for my daughters. Always very professional, very clean and very accommodating. I highly recommend this Spa.

I have an extremely low tolerance for pain and I am also incredibly shy (what a wimp, I know) However, when I say that the Green Spa has the ability to make ANYONE feel comfortable, I am not exaggerating! I had my first Brazilian Wax at the Green Spa and have never been anywhere else since. Tiffany is truly talented when it comes to making her clients not only comfortable but she also somehow manages to make a Brazilian Wax an enjoyable experience.

I've received several services from the Green Spa and I am satisfied every time. The one or two times I experienced any dissatisfaction, the management staff went above and beyond to correct them. Again, the Green Spa is a truly special place.

This place is funny. Not a honest place at all. Doesnt even honor their own rules. Waste of money in every category. You spend hundreds of dollars and then they try to sell you cream at the end lol. You are better off going to a nail salon and getting a free massage included in your manicure.

So I went to Greenspa for the first time even though everyone in my family goes routinely. And oddly I wasn t super impressed. So, I went for a wax and a body scrub.

My Wax when I arrived home I saw she missed a lot of spots and i even had long hairs where I shouldn t. If I m paying for a wax everything should be removed. What I also did not like was that I called in advance and asked what kind of wax they use and they said they only use blue wax which is what i normally use. Well the first 2 strips were done with a different wax and i thought I was going to run out. I politely asked if she can only use the blue wax. She did and it ended up being ok but truthfully i felt pain compare to every place I ever went for a wax. Also, where the other wax was used when i got out of the shower i had heat bumps only in that area that looked similar to pimples and to me it really annoyed me.

However, as for my scrub I loved for the most part. She did a great job. My skin felt great. I wish she would of done the bottom of my front legs. I don t know why that wasn t done but it s ok. Overall the scrub was incredible which I ended up tipping 20% overall because of the scrub.

So wax I probably would never come there again but for a scrub or possible massage why not.

I called to make an appointment using a gift card I had won at a school benefit. When I gave the person my gift card number, they said it had expired. I looked at my card and there is no expiration listed anywhere on the card or on the brown envelope the card is in. I mentioned that and they said there is nothing they will do to honor it.

My belief is a good business practice would have been to honor it anyway and maybe they would have a new regular customer. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

BUYER BEWARE, if you do purchase a gift card for someone, insist on an expiration date being added.

Or better yet, go somewhere where they know how to treat a customer!!!
