The Whip is an amazing restaurant and serve some very good soul food.the wait staff are incredibly friendly and if I had to have just one thing it'd be the wings

Beautiful,cozy inn, very friendly staff, heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi in the winter was awesome Great lunch at the Whip! Tea and cookies in the afternoon was a special treat can t wait to come back!

Cozy spot that was updated a while ago, but needs to be kept up to date.

We stopped there by chance. We were looking for a place where luncheon. The menu was well varied and the food was good. The service was good too. The waiters knew their menu well. We were sitting on the terrace which is very beautiful and spacious. Our group of 4 took something different: burger, salmon, steak and duo soup / sandwich.

Inn keepers and service were great! Location also perfect - so much more to do in town than staying at the lodge at the mountian...we walked to breakfast every morning! Rooms were fine - comfy beds, but pretty outdated and small, also kinda noisy and they could really use blackout curtains! But for the value, very nice - I would recommend (just dont expect anything fancy). Also, really nice, touches like afternoon cookies:) Christmas Dinner was wonderful also, oh and we loved all the board games!

We got a townhouse on the off season. It's amazing. Full kitchen. Amazing master bedroom and bathroom.

Wow wow wow to see absolutely beautiful place, extra service

This was my first time at this hotel and there is a lot to like. The location is great, the food is outstanding. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We did experience a few turnoffs... the check-in process is outside and lengthy due to the signing of extra forms for Covid and just general explanation of the property. We were freezing and had to wait on line outside to check in. There is a desk indoors that could have been used but social distancing would need to be inforced. We felt that it would have been worth the effort to make sure that happens. Put your customers first.
Secondly, a bit of a turnoff to be charged for a toothbrush when the rooms are over $200/night. Lastly, the service for breakfast and dinner was a mixed bag. Most were friendly but we felt ignored. I waited for a long time to sign my breakfast tab to the room, but one was not brought to the table. As I was leaving I told the waitress to (Wanda, very friendly) to charge my breakfast to the room. When I checked out I was surprised to see a gratuity was added to my bill(party of 1). I mentioned it to the desk clerk and he said that was the hotel policy. I let it go because the service wasn't bad, just not very attentive.
There is much more to like here than not, so we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful and cared for. Vintage photographs on the walls in the corridors to bring guests back to the atmosphere of times past. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great restaurant.

I got this room at a discount through the Green Mountain Club. I was very pleased with the decor, amenities and the location.

I still wonder why the are only a 3-star hotel since they accomodate quite well and the stay is worth way more than you'd expect. If choosing the complementary breakfast, one doesn't have to run around in the morning. The food selection is also a reason in itself to indulge.

Great location! Every place in Stowe was fairly walkable. Rooms were very neat and comfortable.

Most recent visit was Valentines Day surprise dinner. Very nice meal no waiting, love the corn chowder and had delicious Raspberry sorbet. Nice wine and local beer selection

Totally booked all the time :( If I could get a reservation I would give it 5*, maybe ;)

The green mountain inn is a second home for me. My family has been coming here twice a year since I was five. The rooms are cozy, the staff is friendly, and its located in the perfect spot down town Stowe.

Had dinner at the whip bar and grill. Great food, good craft beers, and amazing dessert. I would definitely go back again!

My daughter and I frequently have lunch here. Lovely environment, friendly service, and good food.

I go to Stowe once a year and always stay here. Great location in the heart of downtown Stowe. Easy walking distance to all of the main street area and a lot of the mountain dr restaurants. Rooms are reasonably priced and have a great aesthetic. Perfect for romantic getaways. Amenities are good, fitness center is alright but nothing to write home about. Hotel restaurant/bar is slightly expensive but really is top notch, you arent getting crappy hotel food at all.

Very quaint little bistro in the Green Mountain Inn. Food was predictable but very good.

Had a mixup where they had goven my room away. To their credit, the inn tried to make ot right to the extent possible.

Nice romantic getaway with year round outside pool and hot tub. The food at the Whip is a bit pricey, but its incredible! The luxury suite upgrade was definitely worth it!

Stayed here for a friend s wedding and absolutely loved it! The hotel is super cute and clean and lovely, and it s right in the center of town. We definitely needed a car because we had to drive to the venue / outside of the immediate town center. There are tons of great restaurants and cafes within walking distance to this hotel, so depending on your plans you could get away with not having a car!

Beautiful historic Inn perfectly situated and staffed by wonderful people.

We just loved our stay over winter break we are Vermonters & we stay here because the service is a smile & elegant surroundings & many amenities + people are friendly & kind . Our grandson had a ball in the pool & grammy liked the spa! thank you the Johnsons'

Very nice suite with jacuzzi and king size bed, also nice pool and a hot tub. Breakfast is full of choices with friendly waitress.

Lovely and relaxing. Close to everything. Breakfast Buffett a bit pricey and boring, regular menu items which I should have done were yummy. We like good cookies and tea at 4. Hosts were friendly and the place was clean(very)

Price was too high for the room. There are better accommodations in Stowe.

This is a great place to get away! We stayed in a classic room, which was really nice. The bed was so comfortable, we felt like we got a really good night's sleep.

The pool is heated and open all year round. It's a salt water pool so you don't feel all chemical-y when you get out. We went in while it was snowing! The outside hot tub is nice too, but it didn't feel quite as warm as the indoor jacuzzi. The sauna is coed, which was nice.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were accommodating to my wife's gluten sensitivity.

10/10 would go back again.

This was the best place I have stayed. It more than met my expectations. From the free wi-fi, the jaccuzi, fireplace, and the king size bed. It was classy.

Small room, crooked floors, not real clean, two ways to room, one a long way around or else down 3 flights of steps, beds not good and small!! Not happy for the price!!

Luxury king room was absolutely beautiful with fireplace and jacuzzi tub that opens up to the rest of the room. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were great too. Right in downtown Stowe. Minutes from amazing breweries and within walking distance of a couple good food places. We will definitely be back, again and again.

We rented a townhouse with our two teens and we were so happy! Spacious clean private and very modern! Love this hotel and the pool plus Matt the bartender is so great we enjoyed his recommendations! Such a relaxing trip and the hotel is top notch very Covid clean and careful! So grateful!

Classic Stowe accomodation. Amazing location right in Stowe village

The location is great. The pool and jacuzzi are great. S'mores at the fire pit are a thoughtful addition. Rooms are clean and well appointed.

I love this Inn! Charming town, lots of little shops and restaurants. Don't miss the Ben and Jerry's tour! Great rooms with fireplace, some with jacuzzi tubs. Heated pool, hot tub and gym, two restaurants with a bar all on site.

We have stayed at the Green Mountain Inn multiple times. The front desk is welcoming. The bar and restaurant is enjoyable, you can even bring drinks n food back to your room. Stowe is a great town, and the location on Green Mountain Inn allows you to easily walk to shops, bars, restaurants and much more. Whenever I go to Stowe, that is the place I will stay.

Great place. Rooms are nice. Pool and outdoor sauna is excellent. Note -- there is no room service, and they charge an additional $18 "laundry fee per night".

Beautiful historic Inn. We ate on the covered terrace overlooking the pool. Our server was awesome and the food just as good.

Great Place to stay, I judge all hotels by the Green Mountain. I have stayed there 4 times over the past 4 years. Highly recommended.

Great foot and drinks. The soups are great winter day, or a hot summer celebration. Try their half sandwich and a soup. And don't forget their local beers. Our you may like their special Maple Mark Manhattan's.

Excellent experience every time. Great outdoor heated pool and hot tub, gas fire pits, massage right across the street im probably the most charming town in new england.
