In January 2020 we booked this hotel as regular guests for a stay in September.
In August my travel agency sent me further documents and additional offers. I then checked the address on the hotel's website and got a shock!
There is a notice that the hotel is closed. The reopening is planned for April 2021! The inquiry with the travel agency revealed that the hotel allegedly only made the information about the closure a few weeks ago.
I learned from a restaurant owner that the hotel was closed in the spring.
There is evidence that something is wrong with the organization.
We'll see what happens in 2021!

So there (if you have the means) this is the place to go.
Extremely well placed and well designed resort, very pleasant. Although there are only people of all nationalities richer than you, you cannot regret staying there, and if anything did not please you, the hotel is not the problem. but you...

It is an important structure that when full reaches 600 people but the spaces are well organized, the staff is very numerous, efficient and extremely kind, the magnificent location. All the details and equipment are very accurate and of high quality, it deserves the 5 stars.

I am revising my previous review. After the previo...

I am revising my previous review. After the previous delight, we decided to stay here again this year. They made a restructuring, but it cannot be said that it got better. It is now impossible to drive up to the entrance by car - apparently because of this no one noticed us as we arrived. They don't see anyone now.
Claiming to be a 5-star exclusive, the service hasn't really improved. Unlike last time, we got a seeview room with windows on the utility yard. It turns out there is one. So the builders begin to prepare in the morning, and not only are they talking loudly, but also, then their cart will fall with a crash, then they begin to knead the cement. Those. do not open windows. In the room, instead of the smell of the sea breeze, the smell of cement and building mixtures. At lunchtime, a circular saw works under the windows.
Some renovations are underway in the left wing of the hotel, and starting from 08:00 in the morning something is not to be said, which is very loud, but persistently and without ceasing they hammer right up to 15:00, although in the country at lunchtime there is an officially approved fiesta and fines are provided for noisy work. It's strange that they give such numbers to their privileged clients. What do they do with the rest? It is naturally impossible to relax in the room at lunchtime in such an environment, because in half an hour the head from this knock begins to ache.
But we must pay tribute that after the complaint we were able to find another number, and either as compensation for our patience, or because the reception was called from the presidential administration to find out how we were accommodated - in the end we were resettled into a luxurious two-room suite. The difference between regular and luxury accommodation is, of course, enormous.
Although the curtains in the bathrooms after reconstruction have been removed and now a third of the bathtub has a glass partition that does not open and does not move, the decision is clearly not rational. Because of this, after a shower, the entire floor is flooded with water. such a partition is clearly not enough to protect against splashes. In addition, now, in order to get a shower and wash your ass after the toilet, you have to climb into the bath completely, because in a five-star exclusive hotel, oddly enough, a bidet is not provided.
It would be better to fix the doors and the door handles instead. they creak so that when you go to the toilet at night, even the neighbors hear about it.
Probably the person responsible for making decisions on the maintenance of the rooms needs to live in them himself, in order to better imagine what it will be like for those who know what five-star hotels are.
Drinking water, as it was not, and is not - but now they also stopped wearing it on the beach.
Printed materials with a description of what is included in the cost of living, and what needs to be purchased separately and for how much did not appear. The hotel's comment is clearly not about that. managers continue to hand-record these notes on the booklet.
After the reconstruction, the fitness room was moved and the entrance was made from the street. Now, when it rains in the fitness room, you already come wet.
The dinners leave a lot to be desired, but the breakfasts and dinners are wonderful.
Wi-Fi fixed - special thanks for that.
People smoke everywhere on the beach - it's some kind of horror. Due to the fact that the beach is compact, even if one person smokes, everyone will stink. It is, of course, strange that smokers do not understand how much suffering they cause to others, but I would like the hotel to somehow regulate this.
There is some trouble with drinking water - if there is dry forest at two in the morning, then there is simply nowhere to take it. Even guest houses have coolers.
In general, this hotel, in its place and many other qualities, continues to be our favorite, therefore we would very much like these shortcomings to be corrected.

A really outstanding hotel. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptional service with numerous "magic moments" for the hotel guests. For example, we were on the occasion of the birthday of my wife a -in every respect tasteful-pie on the room. Conclusion: Location, hotel, view, rooms, private beach, etc. gets clearly 5 points, the staff and the service but still on it!

We had a reservation at Grecotel Eva Palace but they offered us an upgrade for a see view room at corfu imperial. It was a great experience! All the staff is polite and willing to help at any time. The rooms big enough with great view to sea. The beach was great. The restaurants also very good. Breakfast had everything. It is not in Corfu City but you can be there in less than 15 minutes with a car. The breakfast was the best I ever had until now

We only looked at this hotel from the outside. The main house is not visually attractive. Only the villas and bungalows around it are fantastically beautiful and the garden etc. is extremely well maintained. There are very good water sports and two small beaches.

Words cannot express how wonderful this resort is and how beautifully positioned it is on kommeno bay. The staff, the food, the rooms are all magnificent and world class. I will definitely be coming back and i cannot wait to explore all other Grecotel resorts.
My wife and I selected the Imperial exclusive resort for our destination wedding. Serafeim, the man who helped manage the wedding over a course of a year is a gentleman and a true professional. Wonderful ceremony at nissaki which is a private little island and an exceptional reception setup outside inbetween two pools, with stunning views of the bay and facilities to match it, truely the best wedding food ever a fabulous experience that made it one of the best days of my life! I Highly recommend it!

Excellent from every point of view: well-kept rooms (both rooms and common ones); excellent menu for breakfast and dinner; trained staff and above all beautiful location. For connections (in addition to the taxi - a bit expensive for daily use - and the shuttle - only for Corfu town and at fixed times) I would recommend a two-wheeled vehicle of which there is great choice at low cost

A DREAM COME TRUE! The Corfu Grecotel Imperial Resort is really a magical place to stay. I spent 5 nights here with my Mum and from the moment we arrived through the gates to the resort we were welcomed and made to feel completely relaxed. The hotel, grounds and beaches are absolutely stunning! The detail in the decor is superb and everything from the chairs to the table settings make the hotel feel so luxurious. The views are spectacular from every angle! In the morning you can watch the sunrise whilst eating a delicious breakfast and in the evening watch the beautiful sunset sky. The service really sets this hotel apart. All the staff are smiley, attentive, welcoming and when you ask a question they tell you everything you need to know in a friendly manner. The staff here have clearly been trained exceptionally well. My Mum and I were very lucky to have been upgraded on arrival to a junior waterfront suite overlooking the ocean and bay. We are so grateful as our suite, the garden and the views were all just gorgeous! We swam everyday in the lovely, calm sea and also spent time in the spa using the really spacious steam room and sauna. We also went to a couple of fitness classes in their fitness room and the instructor was so good! (Sorry we didn t write down his name!) He was so friendly, patient, professional and great at what he does! I celebrated my birthday at corfu Imperial during my holiday and had a wonderful surprise when the hotel sent a delicious birthday cake to our suite. We made use of the free shuttle to corfu town and enjoyed exploring the town. The entire holiday made us feel so relaxed and we enjoyed every second! I m not normally one to go back to the same place twice but corfu Grecotel Imperial is definitely an exception. I already want to come back next year and invite my entire family! Thank you Corfu Imperial so everything! We can t wait to come back and will definitely recommend to all our friends and family.

Calm place with good facilities and personnel that makes effort in order to ensure guests are getting any help they need. Only one thing I didnt like is that they farm guests by absence of water dispensers on dinner.

Amazing hotel, from the moment you get there until...

Amazing hotel, from the moment you get there until you leave you get attention and the best care.
I will elaborate, when you get there (*1) someone from the stuff take you in to a reserved seats and you get tea, pineapple juice, sweet local fruits, water and hot towel to frash up. Few minutes later the guest relations attendee arrived ( we had very nice lady) to explain the hotel map, services, restaurants, pools, beaches, and much more.
She invited us to breakfast ( we just arrived directly from the airport) also she mentioned we can change in the spa restrooms and enjoy the pool / sea until our room is ready.
I think @14:00 but we got ours a bit earlier.
In addition she added the loyalty program that provide discount on the spa, food and beverages (nice addition *2)
The hotel seems partly renovated partly new.

The room we stayed had sea view (most of the rooms have sea view due to the perfect location on the peninsula)
The size was ok not big but comfortable. The bad was comfortable vs other hotels I stayed. Every day the room was cleaned by a very nice maid (everyone in the hotel are extra welcoming) and we got complementary water, wine and fruits upon arrival (so fun).

Breakfast and dinner is buffet style, breakfast is a very rich meal with various fresh food, fruits, dairy ( Greek yogurt) sweets, juice, barista bar and chef stand for omlets, pancakes and waffles.
They even bake pastries on the morning (*3)
Dinner also have various food (*4) fresh fish, sushi, meat, chicken, ice cream and sweet ( many kind local and from the world)

Restaurants are nice (Abit expensive) but the food is good, 4 different restaurants, the bar restaurant is Asian restaurant at night time and again the stuff is great always helpful with a smile. You can change dinner for lunch in specific time of the day (with closed menu - good one) the fish dishes are very good and there is a very tasty french fries in n the bar, also the cocktail menu is very nice.
The is a cocktail offering in the Asia restaurant for early reservation ( that we didn't get..)

2 pools (big and small) with many beds (*5)
3 beaches - 2 are open, small one very nice and bigger one with stuff that help you arrange, there toilets and area to change. 1 require reservation

The is spa with Shauna (dry and steam) and closed pool
Reasonable size gym with water and juice (*6)
There is live show almost every night, the lobby stuff are very informative

Check out went quickly and as we left early the restaurant was opened for us :)

Some downs side for you to be ready, I don't really think it effected our stay but it is always good to be informed to take the right decision

*1 the hotel location is 25 minutes from the airport so you need to arrange transportation, taxi is about 25$. It is only 12km but the road is very bumpy...
It also need to be considered when going to the old town which is amazing but require a taxi way and back.
The hotel offer a free shuttle for 3 hour duration in the old City, 4 times a day and requires early registration 1-2 days before... Keep it in mind. Also the hotel offer water taxi 2 times a day through a provider for a low price ( few hours duration in the city)

*2 the spa has very rich treatment menu but expensive to my opinion...

*3 keep in mind that breakfast served at 7:15 so of you check out earlier you need to state it to the lobby stuff
And it will take time until the food will be fully served ~7:00

*4 during dinner there is no water stand or juice, all must be bought.

*5 beds on the pool side are always taken.by someone that put towel and went to the sea :) just standing empty but occupied. There is not such issue on the beach as there is much more beds there

*6 I am more of a long distance runner, as mentioned the hotel is isolated and roads are bumpy... I didn't enjoyed my run even with the scenery the.roads are bad full with sewage no place to run... The gym has 4 treadmills

The bottom line we loved staying there and will be back as soon as possible!!!

You will enjoy there it is awesome place with amazing stuff!

Small bays with free beach chairs, towel service and great clear water invite you to relax. The shielded peninsula also ensures that no crowds conquer the environment and you can enjoy the day exclusively in peace. Rest is a keyword. There were hardly any children, and those who were there were very quiet and educated, you can really relax here. The buffet restaurant and the other restaurants are very well done, especially when you sit outside you have a perfect view of the water and the mountains. The location is perfect. For us one of the most beautiful places in and around Greece ... PS: If you want to snorkel should visit the other coast ...

Beautiful holiday resort with (unused) potential. ...

Beautiful holiday resort with (unused) potential. Great location with amazing beaches and lovely scenery. Very nice gym / spa and plenty of sport activities.

SADLY we got trapped in the elevator 3 times during our one week stay (not longer than 5 minutes before somebody came to let us out). The staff who freed us from this temperamental elevator mentioned that it happens to him all the time as well. When this was mentioned to the receptionist upon our departure, the answer was that this happens in hotels all over the world and that she gets stuck in elevators all the time when traveling.
Sorry but that is just plain nonsense and no way to respond to customer feedback. Sure things like that can happen, but if an elevator in a 5 star resort is defect I expect it to be fixed or to be taken out of order so that the guests do not get trapped in a small dark space all the time.
Another minus was the very poor internet connectivity and the ongoing and annoying wind howling in some stormy nights due to isolation problems in the room (Also the water from rain came splashing into the room).
Our bill upon departure was not correct and included Spa treatment that we did not have (problem was fixed by removing the cost from our bill).
Our room smelled damp and moldy. After 4 days the ceiling in the bathroom showed moldy patches (propably just to be wiped away before the next guests arrive). Just luxury problems in a luxury resort? Not sure about that, the guests pay a significant amount of money for their stay. I would have expected more. Hope this additional feedback finds you well. Don't make any nonsense excuses just see this as a chance to improve.

Quality inadequate for the price. It is an old hotel, as the saying goes "from the late Gierek period", which tries to refresh, but it fails, because the rooms have old door frames, old wardrobes, outdated electrical fittings etc. TUI Polska sells this hotel as a luxurious one, but despite paying over 18 thousand PLN for a week's stay in a room with a sea view (DZM1) we received a room without any view (in the picture), which should be considered a mere fraud. Unfortunately, TUI bought all seats on the Enter Air plane from Gda sk, so we could do nothing but take advantage of such mischief brokering. But we won't be able to stretch like that anymore.

Hotel area and service was great. When eating, you feel like in a cafeteria. By the way it is loud it is not comfortable for a five star hotel. Drinks are totally overpriced to eat. Here is the price / performance ratio not at all. Fast handling because there is always a lack of space and people queue to get a seat. That's why point deduction! Pool, bar and beach area was great.
