I love that this farm is on the smaller size! Fun to spend about 3 hours here with the girls. Petting zoo, haunted house, train ride, pony ride....some over priced lunch and call it a day!

Love this place. Been coming here since I was small and now I take my family to it and have a blast! Yes it does get full, packed and it can be a bit of a hassle, but hey it's a great place and has alot to see. The only thing though that I wish they would change is the food. Hm not really sure if it's all of the food places in there, but some just really need to make it waaaaay better and may be less expensive. Lol...

It is a good place to exercise but better in winter because in summer it is difficult due to the heat. There is a lot to walk and a variety of animals, in addition to many places to eat, I recommend it for the whole family.

LA Zoo was very fun and it was pretty big. We didn't arrive till afternoon however, we were still able to explore everything. It would have been nice to watch the feedings at certain times but overall it was a great first experience. Parking was free too.

One day admission is pricey but family membership is a decent deal. Glad to see the elephant exhibit is huge for a huge animal, but the lions seem cramped and bored. Lots to explore but quite hilly since it sits at the base of a Griffith Park "mountain". If you're going to pay for the tram, do it first thing, ride to the back of the park, and work your way forward.

Had a really great time with my family, considering this zoo is in a park in LA I wasnt expecting it to be so big, with a really large variety of animals and exhibits.
We spent 2.5hrs walking around and didnt make it round the entire zoo.
The reptile exhibit was really interesting.
The staff are really friendly and are walking about the park offering information about the animals.

Sadly not the best time had, crowded, most animals sleeping Zoo staff was cool, however forewarning, the bus/tram that can take you around the park, the warning is real - emergency vehicles will shut it down. :-(

The zoo was great. It's big enough and exciting enough to entertain people of all ages while not being so big that it's overwhelming. It clean and neat and the animals seem to be well taken care of. There are shows happening all the time you can catch something exciting happening all the time. Highly recommend this as a stop in LA.

If you like to see animals in small enclosures, this is the right place.
It is very nicely laid out, but where palm trees grow on the roadside, it is not difficult either.
I found it depressing to see the animals like that.

Went there for the first time last mother's day. My kid LOVED it! They have a show with trained birds that's definitely worth it. Bought the annual pass as i see myself going multiple times.

Highly recommended. Children should be taken there to see how animals truly live and behave instead of their experiences on social media and video games. we highly recommend taking the tram at the beginning to get the full zoo experience and then return to the areas of your highest interest.

L.A. Zoo Lights attracts native Angelenos and visitors to experience an illuminated evening of more than a million and a half lights. It s a wonderful holiday event for an evening with the family and kids under two are free. Having made its debut in 2014, the attraction has grown into a seasonal favorite.Glowing animals welcome you on your nighttime journey that includes a twinkling tunnel filled with dynamic swirls of color or you can visit the three reindeer or ride the carousel ($3) while drinking hot cocoa or enjoying meals and snacks from a variety of food carts.

The ticket prices are okay, not the best. Food prices are good. The gift shop is a little bit expensive but that's to be expected. Alot of the animals I felt didnt have enough room nor things to play in/hide in. I felt bad looking at some of them and left rather upset. :/ The kids love going here but that's just how I feel.

Went to the LA Zoo Lights event. The displays were well setup and organized perfectly throughout the paths. The lairs with the amphibians, reptiles, were cool and elephants were also up.

We arrived with 2 classroom field trip & found Ryan Corbet at the seal exhibit & we we're blessed that he gave us a tour! It was a fantastic day overall: Ryan was incredibly engaging and every exhibit we visited had animals being active and the kids had a real good time seeing everything! Ryan made the trip worthwhile!!! He gave us so much information, the children weren't the only ones learning. Thank you so very much for the great updates to the zoo and a fantastic extra special thank you to Ryan, you made the visit the best!

Zoo is nice but doesn t measure up to San Diego zoo. Really wanted to give two and a half stars because they don t have teacher discounts and ticket booth staff service was mediocre. You also have to pay for the carousel ride .

I haven't been here since I was a child and wow what a beautiful zoo. They did a really great job abiding by the state regulations as well. As well everyone attending doing the same and maintaining social distance.
On a selfish note I loved that there were a limited amount of people allowed in the zoo. I was able to comfortably see the animals and stroll around the park with out having to look over peoples shoulders to see the animals and what not.

I take my son once a week, and it's always a great experience...never crowded during the week, even with the school field trips in the mornings. I love all of the animals, but my favorite exhibits are the elephants, giant river otters, gorillas and chimpanzees.

Best month to go I believe is October because all the animals are active enjoying the weather . I enjoyed my entire day there and great place to put in some good walking exercise. Good for all ages , don't let a nice place , like the Zoo , die down .Take your family and friends for a great outing.

Excellent place to go with the family.

Excellent place to go with the family.
You travel the place in approximately 4hrs, you can take Lunch and eat on the benches.
Please do not feed or bother the animals, they are not very comfortable and still to be bothered to take a photo, it is not okay.
The entrance is at $ 21 apart you can buy activities with hippos and giraffes.
