It s not that I have problems with technology but when you made known your products in a catalogue it was much easier to use. And access your needs by browsing materials. Your website does not contain an index so unless someone knows exactly what they are looking for and how you refer to that item it is extremely difficult to find. Although I will continue to buy from GreatArt as I like the quality and value of your items I would not consider recommending your site to others as my reasons for use may not be enough to convince others

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I have been waiting a month for an order to turn up that said it should have taken 5 working days, awful communication, emailing me back but the item still isn't turning up. Really bad service.

My experience has been very poor. I placed an order on 28i/12/20 and I have still not received what I ordered and it is now 11/2/21.I have received n answers to many callas and emails and am losing all confidence in this company's willingness and ability to do business. I used to be a regular customer but now I think I'll look elsewhere.

I took an art journalling workshop here with M.E. The class was really informative, hands-on, lots of fun and very accessible to someone like me I'm not an artist but wanted to give it a go.
M.E. showed us lots of different painting, stencilling, collage and transfer techniques and was helpful and attentive throughout the whole afternoon. I left with tonnes of ideas and new skills and the inspiration to continue experimenting with my own art.
Great Art is a well-stocked store with so much to choose from that I didn't know where to start. The staff were really friendly, helping me locate supplies in the store, and offering to order anything that wasn't on the shelves.

Loads and loads of graphical supplies, which is mostly what I use.

I think its hard to find what they dont have. Wonderful stuff amazing staff.

Lots of choice for all budgets and styles, and very friendly staff. A must go if you're into arts.

There is a wide selection of art goods in here, lots of choices and price ranges. Lovely shop and friendly staff. Has a seating area where you can just sit and draw.

I normally buy my art supplies from this shop, and they have great products and nice prices. But today was the first time I attended to a collage workshop.

The experience was amazing. We spent a lovely evening creating art and colourful collages. All the staff from the shop was amazing and they treated us like kings and queens. Coffee, tea, soft drinks and lovely pizza!!! What else you can ask for???? Special thanks to Luke and Stephanie, whose were taking special care of us and paying attention to every detail. He make sure we had a great and enjoyable time.

Easy to find items I wanted. Easy to order and pay.

Good range of materials, at good prices. However I had a very irritating service experience with Great Art. The delivery took 8 days (they specify 5-8 days - Jackson's Art specify 2-5 days), then on delivery an item was missing. When I call they apologise, check and say it's in stock and arrange next day delivery. Then no call, email or delivery the following day. After I call them again, it turns out it wasn't in stock, and they can only get the item to me now two weeks after first placing the order. Unfortunately this means I can't stretch a painting before a framing deadline for an exhibition. Hopefully the framer will be able to stretch it for me, but not ideal.

Great team and amazing selection of art materials for all ages!

I placed an order on 19th January which almost a month later has not been received.
My emails and answer phone messages have been ignored . The website stated there may be some delays due to the pandemic and Brexit which I understand but if we can place orders why can't they simply reply to the emails or messages? Very disappointed

I just ordered a gift voucher. The whole process was very easy, however, it would have been nice to have the option to choose between a email voucher and a physical voucher.

The customer service team actually went through the trouble of calling me to arrange to email me a code for the voucher! Absolutely brilliant that they went out of their way to do this. Thanks!

I never received my parcel. I tried calling the number but get. Disconnected every time. Guess I have lost that money.

WEBSITE ORDER
This company is absolutely useless! EVERY time I order from them I get the same result so I try to avoid them at all costs but sometimes they are the only place that have the items I require.

As usual it has been a catalogue of errors from the get go. No email confirmation of the order, no invoice, no notification that the order has been dispatched, no tracking number, either as a link or on my account page and so on and on. At each and every stage I've had to chase up what's happening with it, they sent some of it which turned up with no notification so I wasn't expecting it... luckily I was home but I've had parcels left in the rain before now which is not good for canvases!

Delivery was supposed to have been handled by UK Mail which is in the process of being taken over by DHL, but they decided to hand my parcel over to Royal Mail and now it's missing! Then I phoned G.A customer services, which is a PREMIUM COST NUMBER I might add, only to get more flannel about depending on when in the day it's handed over to R.M it may delay delivery by another day so now I have no choice but to allow an extra day for something I paid for nearly two weeks ago.

Furthermore, they are VERY sneaky and don't tell you your order isn't coming from within the UK but usually Germany.

The service is shocking and not good enough and I advise everyone not to use them.

SO UNIMPRESSED WITH THE ONLINE STORE! no information has been given to me regarding whether my items being sent, on top of this you hanging up on my calls?? Not a happy customer and definitely won't be ordering online from you again.

It's lovely to have such a huge range of materials available to me, living here in Mid-Wales where there are scenes that cry out to be painted: but not much to paint on or with!

Amazing. All the staff are really helpful, Antonio is especially amazing and has very detailed knowledge about products. Always a great experience. The workshops are really well organised and fun.

Whow! What a treat, so many goodies in this artists "Sweet Shop". An amazing place, well laid out with everything you could possibly want to help you achieve your artistic goals. From tiny brushes to HUGE canvasses and everything in between. Drawing ,painting framing sculpting, printing and more. Everyone is catered for. Their online service is absolutely great but this has taken buying art materials to a higher level. Friendly , helpful staff, a seat and a coffee to catch your breath before you take another look around. Make sure you allow yourself at least an hour to browse -you will not be disappointed.

Amazing art store, plenty of materials, a little bit far from the tube but close to the bus station. Price of materials is really affordable and the staff will not hesitate to help you. Plus they have some sketch books and painting materials that you will just find in this store but the price is really good. Great quality.

Great Art is always an easy company to deal with. Any questions I have they do their best to answer. Love dealing with this company and they have excellent products to buy.

My experiencie with their online service has been terrible.
I placed an order on the 24th of December and 1 month later, TODAY, I am still chasing and waiting the delivery to arrive .
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE !!!
After sent/received emails, initially, they told me they were having problems with delivery service .. I thought is okay - Christmas, lockdown.. let s wait longer.
Then, finally, they told me my ordering was on hold in their depot and was ready to dispatch - hum .. Quite contradictory statement ????
But let s wait just a little longer.
They sent me a link to track my parcel through DHL delivery services .. the details are wrong, so the tracking is unsuccessful.
And I haven t heard from them since my last email.

In the past, I have been in their store many times and I never had any problem buying there . But this online service is far beyond to be managed properly.

Great selection of art materials indeed. I was exhibiting in London and needed a particular brand of acrylic for an emergency touch up job. They had exactly what I needed.

i placed an order with them for delivery as they are only 2/3 streets away from me. The order didn't arrive as it got held up in europe (you have only had 2 years to sort this!!!) so they kindly let me cancel it and offered to refund my money which hasn't happened more than a week later - i rang today - no one answered and the mail box was full so i couldn't leave a message - when i eventually got through it was sorted but it took another two calls.

I placed an order on 29th December and still have not received it. I have been in touch with customer services (via email) who assured me that my order was on it's way, but they provided me with a tracking link that does not work. Now they are not replying to emails, and the customer service helpline is unavailable and the answering machine is full so I am unable to leave a name and number as the pre-recorded message requests.
I have been waiting almost a month (delivery was stated as 5-8 working days) and am beginning to lose faith that my parcel will arrive at all.

I definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Have shopped online with GreatArt for a number of years; is nice to be able to go see stuff as well; the shop is very well laid out - fantastic range of products and easy to find what you want; plus discover new products along the way. Extremely impressed by the range of canvases in the the shop! Think you would be hard pressed to find as comprehensive a range of art materials elsewhere and for such a reasonable price.

I would mark as zero if I could. We placed an order weeks ago and got confirmation it would take 5 days. It's still not here, despite paying for the delivery. It's still not arrived. They aren't answering emails or phone-calls, and by looking at social media I am not the only one this has happened to. The only conclusion I can draw is that we've been scammed.

I would suggest you don't make the same mistake as we did and rely on this company for anything.

Disneyland for artists. Can easily spend hours here and I just wanna buy the whole store. If you register you can get 15% discount in every purchase!

The endless supplies, generous prices, expert staff... it's a go-to place on the weekend for turning ideas into afternoon projects.

I've also relied on them for framing large art prints and Darek in particular has been extraordinary with my varied requests. He has a sharp eye, is patient with questions and a perfectionist, which is exactly what you want when framing cherished art!

Oh my word, where do I start! No doubt that if you ever visited this shop they have a ton of really great art materials but if you want to order anything online DO NOT. I ordered an empty art box on 6th January and it has still not turned up on the 29th. The tracking details don't work and although I asked them to cancel the order and refund me they haven't even replied. I know there's pandemic and things are slow but hey.. Never again. Anyway I ordered another box from amazon last week and guess what, it arrived the very next day!!

STAY AWAY FROM THEIR ONLINE STORE, the order has never been received (I ordered 3 weeks ago, the order confirmation email said 5-8 working days for the delivery), customer service never pick up the phone and don t reply emails. I ve asked for the refund, let s see how long this would take.. very disappointed.

I'm so glad I found this company, the products are of a high standard and competitive prices. A great standard of communication when needed too.

brexit has caused companies a lot of problems with dispatching goods - if you're unable to get hold of them, it's because they're very busy dealing with the fall out - so it is a case of being patient!

I paid for a 5-day delivery for an online order and it took a month and a half. They pass the blame on, don't reply to e-mails, etc. I wanted to cancel and they couldn't do that, either. I ended up getting an incomplete order.
If they're biting more than they can chew, they should at least warn about delays. I'm sure it's not all Charlie's fault.

This shop is my favourite art shop!! They have the most helpful and knowledgable staff that are experienced artists who know about their stock. They have everything you need from top end to more reasonable prices. You can get great canvases for great prices and the framing section is good too! Can't rave about it enough. Love them.

Ordered 31st December, still not received my order.

Been fobbed off with excuses of DHL delays and promise of delivery by 'the end of the week' , and tracking numbers that don't exist.
Over a month on there's still no sign of a delivery!

Asked TWICE for a refund and have been ignored TWICE so will need to open a PayPal dispute. Not the way to treat customers!!

The Shop Sounds lovely, but items are shipped from Europe and they are unable to satisfy deliveries in any sort of reasonable timeline, and they are not very good at communicating these problems until you chase them.

Excellent quality of products, in particular the stretchers. The delivery time of 5-8 working days may irritate some, but I think it is worth the wait.

I'd like to live in here. Such big and full of choice. This is the better fine art shop i've found so far in London. Prices are super affordable. Youcan even find some expencive and delicate stuff. I'd like to see little more smiles from some of the staff but hey that place must be hard to manage! What's important is the great range of materials they have (also think someone of the guys know very well all of the stock so ask ask ask)!!! Go check !!! Artists: Professionals, amateurs, hobbyists... this is your next fav place.

LOVE this place... I could shop here for hours...I do shop there for hours!!! Huge selection, brilliantly displayed, friendly staff, but would be better if there was more staffing, there's usually a long slow queue at the till, pricing needs attention too, lots of stuff badly labelled. Would definitely recommend though. I shop on line most of the time, but it's certainly worth a visit to this huge shop.

Great variety of art supplies, staff really helpful even though we popped up just before the closing time.

Not impressed. I was particularly interested in the Copic range. It turned out some copic markers are actually more expensive in-store than when ordered from their online site. Also, the topic link refills are apparently just available online which us another inconvenience as they take ages to send you your package (8 days on average) even when you live in London and they charge for delivery which is a bummer as I live 20min walk from the shop and instead of spending 45min walking to the shop to buy them in store (where they're NOT available), I'd have order them online, pay for delivery and wait for them for 8 days. Pretty lousy!
