The science center was OK. It could use some improvements. The food court food was terrible and over priced. I may visit the science center again but will definitely not buy food from the food court again.

As a homeschooling family, Great LAKES science center was one of our favorite resources! With new exhibits all the time and awesome science shows, the kids were hooked and I was equally as excited to go! There are floors and floors of fun cool, hands on exhibits and activities. To to me toon its located just s few blocks from the heart of downtown, and next to the Rock &Roll hall of fame.

One of our favorite places! My kids want to come back constantly. The staff is very nice and we love to go out on the Mather (the old cargo ship). The Mather has a museum teaching all about the Great Lakes which is very informative and interactive. The science center itself has tons of interactive and fun stuff for the kids to make and do. The Nasa sections are great, they teach so much about space exploration and life in the international space station, timelines of space exploration and more. It is worth it to buy a membership for the year. It pays for itself after two visits and is a great rainy day activity! Since we joined a month ago my kids have already met an Olympic Gold medalist, and an astronaut at special events for members.

My kids love it here, they recently added an area where the kids can make their own projects. Duck tape shoes, mini parachutes, paper airplanes, etc. that is our favorite part. We also love the educational movies in the dome. Yearly membership is a deal

This is a hands-on museum. There are lots ofsmall physic's experiments that you can conduct by yourself. All of it is very entertaining. Especially if you are with kids, they are going to love it.

Super cool museum to check out. Likely aimed more at a younger audience -- those with kids. The IMAX dome theater is particularly mesmerizing. Watching a movie up there is a fully immersive experience. Walking out of the theater, one must readjust to walking in their own body.

Fun for all ages! For a limited time they have Tapescape!!! A huge playscape made all from duct tape. You will love it! You have to keep kids close by because it is huge! But there is a lot of hands on things! Like make your own rocket, fly a space ship, and control a space bot!

Spend your money at the children's museum. Run down and dirty exhibits on the third floor. Kids play area smelled of pee and a kid vomited in the ball pit. The area looks like it's never been cleaned! Many other parents complaining and staff was notified. A disappointing trip as I have fond memories of going here as a child. For what they charge, things need updated.

What a wonderful place to visit! My son had a blast and learned a few things! A large diversity of exhibits, so there was plenty for everyone. Sadly, several of the displays were not functioning, which left us wanting...

Wonderful place for families! Educational! Food court has a great selection of healthy food also and not really expensive! Impressive that the Handicap parking was right outside the front doors!

We absolutely love it here. We recently purchased a membership and we have gone twice within 4 days! My children have learned so much in just the 2 times that we have been here so far. They get to play with everything! We cannot wait for warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor play area and the ship.

An amazing and fantastic place to get your kids and enjoy the science there...very informative place about the US scientific history and many applications too help people better understand theories and basics of science.
It takes 1:30 to 2:30 hours to tour the place.
There is a playing area for kids below 7 years, there is a cafeteria and a shop to buy souvenirs.
Tickets: buy them online to save money.
PARKING: There is a parking for 8$ and i do recommend to park there not to the limited one in the street (where you will be fined).

As a summary this place is really recommended to visit with kids.
