More than enough for anyone interested in science ...
More than enough for anyone interested in science and then some... Wonderful exhibits and plenty of hands on displays for children and adults alike.

Favorite place to visit with my 4 childeren. Before we can even leave the parking lot they are asking to come back.
Great location. Friendly staff. Good stuff for everyone.
Got a year membership for the kids and they both loved it. Plenty of stuff to do and see. Fun for both my wife and I, as well as the kiddos. Definitely recommend.
You get to see cool science shows and you get to meet the people who volunteers there too and also being a volunteer there is nice too the popcorn is very cheap if you are a volunteer $0.50 is The Popcorn price
Just how i remembered it as a child. Not much bas changed
There's so much to see and do you it's unbelievable there!
Grandson loved it. Did a great job of posting what to do for each hands on exhibit and what it teaches you. Cafe overpriced even for a museum cafe.
Our family had a fantastic time at the science center today! We had to pre-register a time slot to go and I decided on the first time slot of the day at 10:00 a.m. and I'm so glad that I did. We got there just as the science center opened and they quickly checked us in including offering us masks, although we had brought our own, it was nice that they had them on hand. They took everybody's temperatures to make sure no one was feeling under the weather and they had us scan a QR code for a science center map so we didn't have to handle any paper products. It was the most enjoyable time at a science center I think I've ever had. In most of the exhibit rooms we were the only family there and it gave our two sons the opportunity to play with and interact with as many of the exhibits as they wanted to. There were employees going around spraying down many of the interactive parts of the exhibit after the children handled them, there was hand sanitizer easily accessible throughout the entirety of the center and they had many sanitized toys in easy labeled buckets for children to be able to use to do any of the ball interactives. I was nervous about going out to any type of public facility as this is the first time we have done this since the quarantine started in March but as this was going to be our only opportunity to visit I thought I would give it a try and I'm so glad that I did. Great work by all the employees of the Great Lakes Scienc Center! You made us feel secure in our safety and allowed us sometime to just play and learn with our boys!
Interesting afternoon. John Glenn space center is only one room.
Great for Space Nuts and for people with young children older children will not have as much to do
Great for young kids. We have a membership and it is worth the money.
What a great way to introduce young children to science! I brought my 16 month old and he loved the polymer funhouse, heck, I had fun!
A great place for education for kids to explore and for adults. At this time, Ripley's believe it or not was there, and it is both enjoyable and informative.
The NASA Glenn Visitor Center was very cool! There are a lot of hands on activities for kids (and kids at heart!)
This is a great place for kids to learn about science in a hands-on and engaging way.
I trust this over that eternal fountain of youth across the street.
We go there about twice a month. Kids love it. It is expensive with no membership tho.
It's a neat experience for kids of all ages. There's something for everyone but probably age 8-12 would get the most out of it. It's pricey, considering you have to pay for parking, and separately for several exhibits. It has beautiful outdoor access and is right next to the Rock and Roll hall of fame.
Lookout for the apollo satelite from outer space. Had a lot of kids activities as well.
It is a very GREAT place. Especially for homeschoolers who want to see science projects
Had a great time with my niece (5 yrs old). Well worth a visit. Make sure to plan for at least a few hours.
Get a pass if you have little kids, and go twice a month you'll be happy you did!
Unless you have kids there s no need to go here more than nice. The exhibits are nice but there s always a ton of kids running around.
Always a good time. Absolutely love this place and how you can spend hours exploring! Totally worth the money!
So many cool things for kids to do. The imax theater is unbelievable! If it is still in theaters, see the National Parks documentary.
Amazing place for the whole family. 15 9 and 14 months. Couldn't ask for a better experience while we were on vacation!
It s a very fun place but it looks like it s for everyone but when you get in it s mostly for children.
Attended here for free since we are members at another science museum. Great Lakes is a part of the ASTC Travel Passport Program which offers discounts for members of other science museum to visit museums nationwide.
Smaller for sure compared to other science museum I have been to. However it is thoughtfully laid out with great interactive exhibits for all ages. Our daughter enjoyed the kids play area and climbing into the space capsule. I enjoyed the baseball fast pitch exhibit and the glider.
Bummed we couldn't go in the boat musuem. But definitely a fun and interesting place.
I came her dozens of times growing up and loved it so much. I was excited to bring my son here, but disappointed that the entire top floor has remained the exact same since I was a kid. Really showing its age. Would love to see some updates.
Half the museum is either broken or under construction but not half the price.
Fun for kids but dont try to eat there because it takes forever!
Its awesome, so much to learn from and interact with. Different educational experiences regularly. Something fun and great for adults and children. Definitely a must see...
Just bought a membership only downside is needing to make reservations over the phone. I couldn't do it on the website. You can if you are buying tickets for just a day.
I like the place just wish I didn't loose my wallet
It's a great experience especially for the kids to learn something and have fun
Great place to be with kids on a trip! We learned a lot!
This place is fun for all ages and the staff is friendly and helpful! I would recommend checking it out if your near East 9th St.
Dome Theater is Pretty Cool!
HUGE screen HUGE sound! Loved it!
Great for kids and even young kids. Allows exploring and learning in a comfortable atmosphere.
Took kids and had a blast! Very interactive. Good food for a decent price in the cafe too.
Kids had a fun time. Wish they had more for toddlers but overall good experience
Very fun family place. My son and I enjoy going here at least once a year to check out all of the fun things there.
Really enjoyed the exhibits, especially the NASA section.
What a wonderful visit for all ages. I found myself wanting to look at every detail. Nice displays and interactive exhibits for children. A little pricey, but worth a visit. I was unable to get there sooner, but since it was my last day of my visit from Las Vegas, I wanted to take my family. We had 40 minutes to view everything, which isn't enough time, but be warned, their policy is to not discount the price. Really? What can I do in 40 minutes except walk quickly! They should reconsider their policy.
I enjoyed watching the children have so much fun. They get very excited. I love the Omnimax theater.
Kind of pricey but a fun time place. Some exhibits are not maintained properly
And the screen and the Dome Theater you better sit up close to the top otherwise you'll be turning around and craning your neck all the way luckily I stayed near the top
It was amazing, wonderful exhibits that are educational and (some) that are interactive. Me and my family spent 3 hours there and didn't even get to see everything (before the kids started to get hangery) I do not however recommend the food sold there, it is overpriced and subpar at best. I suggest bringing your own meal or eating before hand.
Fun and informative as always. My grandson amazes me through the exhibits as he learns even though his normal rule is no learning on the weekends.
Really good Science center, wish I came here when I was a kid. Has the real Apollo command module, also a good flight sim.
Very cool place to bring curious minds had a lot of fun food was pretty pricey but well worth it wasn't more happy with our trip here
Amazing and captivating! There's not much else to say. The regular exhibits are great, the Makers pace activities are wondrous, and the temporary exhibits are astounding! Great place to bring kids, students, or anyone really! The Cafe is the cherry on top with its robotic version of froyo. This place never gets old.
Wish I lived closer and could see it more often. This place is fun for the young and young at heart.
Haven't been inside of the Science Center in years. This was the sign-in location for the Hunger Network 31st Run-Walk. A great space to setup the sign-in tables for the event.
Great place to spend a day with the kids. Exhibits are beginning to show age and some are in disrepair. But still a north coast gem.
It's a fun place to go on a date. I took my girlfriend out there and we had a good time. Only problem was that I got a headache from the blast of nostalgia of being there as a kid. Not to much changed...
Beware of Summer camps payment policies. No matter what the reason, you are unable to get a refund if you have to cancel a child's enrollment. They will keep your money and offer you classes in the 'future'. I would stay away from camps with these policies since life is not always predictable and things happen. This place will keep your money and add more stress to your life if anything should happen.
SO happy to have this as a local resource. My family spends many happy hours here. Also a favorite icky-weather hang-out with our friends thanks to being Family MAX members. The staff are always wonderful & welcoming. Just wish the Tinker Space was handicap accessible, which is why I deducted a star.
Speaking of accessibility, there are handicap parking spaces in the underground lot but getting around the pillars in a wheelchair is very difficult. As a wheelchair user I always park in one of the 3 marked handicap spaces in the driveway in front of the building instead. When all of those have been taken already, management has granted permission to park in the other marked spaces there that are for other purposes. They are aware of the wheelchair challenges in the underground lot. Underground lot is great for those using canes & walkers though so you don't get rained on & the underground lot is not expensive, take your parking stub in to the membership desk to be validated as a museum visitor for a discount.
Great place to spend the day. Especially when it s cold outside. Many interactive exhibits for kids. Can stay entertained for hours. Buy the yearly pass. Well worth the money!! Got the family pass for Christmas this year and it s one of the best gifts I ve received in years!
It was a great place overall. Lots to keep the kids busy. I was a parent tagging along with my daughters class on a field trip. I do think there needs to be more physical activities most of it was just things to read and touch. BTW the ball pit is hazardous. With field trips there's literally hundreds of kids. One child from my daughter's class was in a wheelchair from being trampled. Another boy left out screaming from someone stepping on his eye. It shouldn't be so big where so many kids can fit in there at once. It was complete chaos. Maybe have someone there to only allow so many kids in at once. It was really chaotic. Other than that, it was a great experience.
Very nice science center. A lot of interactivity. Caters more for the youth. But it is still very fun to go to and just play around. Keot us busy for a little over an hour.
Lots to do and see, really enjoyed the place with the family.
