Lots of fun things to do from sound experiments, electrical circuits, motion, and so much more. Movies in the Dome theater. There's even water play activities and exploring the Mather Ship during warmer months. Science Camps and Great Scuence Academy offer year round exploration in classroom settings (with field trips occassionally, too)! Lots of fun here for residents or visitors year round!

This place was lots of fun. My kids had a blast. There are lots of levels and rooms to this place to seems. The highlight is the tape exhibit with the slide and crawl through. Don't forget your socks.

My son and family really enjoyed our time at the science center. It has a lot of interactive, hands on displays that will keep the family entertained, and busy for a few hours. Definitely a must visit if your in the area.

I had a blast at the Great Lakes Science Center! It was a fun and inspiring filled day so much so I am actually going back to school to become an engineer. Wish me luck! Take your family there!

Don t come here unless you want to be trampled by 50+ kids that aren t yours. Teachers bring these kids on field trips and then let them run wild without any supervision. It was so loud I couldn t even hear myself think. I cannot believe I paid money to come all the way out here to sit on a bench.

Editing my review to also add that if you are sitting at a station, teachers will release the kids and let them full speed run toward you forcing you to leave the activity that is included in the tickets you paid for.

A fantastic science center. The Dome Theater was amazing. I remember going to a similar theater as a kid and it always stuck with me. Very awesome to see these are still around! I loved all the hands on exhibits. We bundled our tickets with the Rock Hall which has made for a great weekend.

Fun science center with lots of things to see and play with. It was easy to find parking and buy tickets. It took less than 3 hours for us to see everything and be ready to leave, which was fine because they were closing (at 5pm). Also we didn't have any kids with us, and that meant skipping most of the really kid-focused stuff (there seemed to be a lot of kid-focused stuff).

Afterward we walked around the outside on the water toward the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and encountered an astounding number of people playing Pokemon Go.

Totally rundown and neglected. This place use to be really awesome, however they have really let it go! Too many of the exhibits were not even functioning and most were just plain, old beat down. Not to mention how much this place costs now! I paid almost $25 for me and another adult to visit. They also provide these camps where you're supposed to drop your kid off....then they just let these kids run wild and tear up the place. I wrote to complain about the higher admission prices and broken exhibits and never even got a response. So not only do they not take care of the place, the have terrible customer service. I will never return.

Really neat place, loads of hands on experiments and information on the space station and on the Mars shuttle. There was not as much as I would expect for such a large museum. There were two levels of information and hands on displays. There were also two play areas for children aside from all the attractions (I have none so we did not visit that part).

The fee is $15 for each adult unless you are a member, then it's free (I don't know the membership fee).

It is near the Rock and Roll hall of fame, so if you want to walk around the Lake and go to museums, it's good entertainment without having to drive much.

The Great Lakes Science Center has something for everyone. Good for families because they have a lot of interactive activities that are great for kids. Good for adults who want to stimulate their mind also. And of course it's it's in a beautiful location.

Despite a few dated exhibits, it is a well put together and maintained museum. Their space exhibits are particularly interesting, due to their partnership with the NASA Glenn Research Center.

The kids had a blast at the science center playing with all fun displays! The IMAX movie about the Great Barrier Reef was a good time too. The space exhibit was very interesting and lots to do for the kids! I'm several decades beyond the target age but still enjoyed my visit. Teens and younger would no doubt get more benefit from the interactive learning aids.

Love this place so much! We've been lots of times and it never gets old. Tons of hands-on activities that are so fun the kids don't even realize they are learning. They especially loved the TapeScape exhibit!

Like the idea of stations but expected more color around. Only one level is really worth going to. Bottom level was empty with Lego building stations, no educational demonstrations. Kinda sad and expected it to be better. The gift shop is big and full of great gifts.

Fun, educational place for kids! My grandkids ages 17 mos..3...and 4.5 love it! Ball pit and other indoor fun, plus fun outside with water tables and slide for warm weather. Small cafeteria with over priced food...but it is tasty. Could use more indoor sitting for when it's crowded. The temporary exhibits such as duct tape slides and cars have been well received by my grandkids. My adult son with autism also loves going there. Definitely recommend!

The exhibits haven't changed in years, and many of them don't work anymore. An employee should go and actually try each exhibit weekly and see if they are still fun to use and not half working (for example with the car race all the wheels just fall off and don't work). One of the worst science museums I've been at, and rather expensive.
