Attended the Rubik's cube exhibit and the Mythbusters exhibit. Both were amazing. The facility was maintained extremely well and the staff after the shows spent a lot of time talking with us which was great.

Where to begin? If you've never been to another science center you might think this place was okay, but it's really not. It's dirty, the exhibits are worn out and tired, and there's no staff to be found. It seems like they built this place in the 90's and then just have never done anything to it since. It gets 1 star just for the NASA gallery. Not very eco-friendly either from observations. For the price, go to the Children's Museum or to Natural History. This is just a sad and outdated experience.

We went for a wedding. It was outstanding. Very well managed. I liked that between the ceremony and reception they had appetizers and exhibits to keep children occupied. Plus, the photo area was unique where guests could get photos with different hats, glasses, etc. The only downside was the DJ who did not play list the bride requested started playing urban music which prompted many of the guests to leave. The DJ was totally oblivious to anyone but himself.

Cool.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the equipment is in terrible shape. This is a museum in the traditional sense where you can view archaic tools and not expect to interact with them. The price is also steep, even if everything worked. COSI is $10, GLSC is $14. But the staff are nice. We asked when the show for the static machine was going to be and the worker started it up for us right then.

This is a great place to spend a few hours and let the kids learn about science through some hands on experience.
The live science show was very boring, my 10 yr old even wanted to leave the show so we did. I saw quite a few kids that were losing interest pretty quickly. Being down in a little amphitheater open to the rest of the center you get a ton of background noise that is very distracting as well so I think that hurts the show a little.
They have an IMAX theatre that I have heard is very nice but unfortunately it was closed for renovations at the time.

Needs some updating over the years, Nasa get on some new displays of upcoming rocket launches. Perhaps a disproving section of current internet misinformation. Like coke and pork, it does not grow worms.

Wonderful place for kids. There were kids of all ages here & all seemed to be enjoying themselves. There are lots of hands on experiences for the family. My kids really enjoyed the sound experiences upstairs. There is a great viewing spot upstairs of the lake. We spent quite a bit of time just viewing that. Lots of great things for the kids to play and learn.

The museum is a bit small compared to others but don't let that stop you from going. There is plenty to see and do for those under 12 (and mom and/or dad). I found it good value for what the cost was and its right down on the waterfront, so very beautiful area to walk.

This place was wonderful to visit as a kid and its still wonderful today. Sure, its no science center or rock and roll hall of fame, but it's fun to explore and learn about all of the functions and history of the Mather. Its more than just a ship, its a world war two supply hero and a revolutionary ship that made great strides in naval technology for commercial vessels. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves history and technology, you get to see the inner workings of the ship in addition to having free range access to nearly every part of the vessel.

My son (13) and I loved the Science Center. We visited in August of 2020 and despite Covid, everything but the great lakes ore freighter was open. They have a lot of hands-on things to illustrate ideas in science so with a little help, kids can come away from there with a better understanding of science. They have an enclosed parking structure and a reduced price for visitors. They are closed during Browns games (when fans are allowed) so look for that. They have a decent cafe with pizza and sandwiches and a gift shop with lots of cool stuff. I will definitely be going again.

Great place for elementary aged kids and families. We took our 6 month old, and it didn't have the same impact for her age as for other visitors that day. Awesome displays, but they are very content dense. It's like they are trying to pack too much information into every station. Sometimes less is more. Overall great experience!

Awesome kids area and experiments, our daughter had a great time running around. The exhibit space wasn't very large, but everything worked and taught something meaningful. Cafe was a let down, I'd recommend bringing your own lunch/snacks.
