Not so pricy and the beers taste good.
But little crowded.
Waited at the front and was passed over. Seated myself, eventually, and waiter came over and said it was closed. Would be fine if this is posted somewhere. It was 7:45pm and everything says 9pm. Also if they would have caught me at the door instead of not even trying would have helped as well.
Highly recommended taking a brewery tour, had an entire hour to learn about the beer making process followed by a tasting in our own private room! We had a great tour host Brennan, definitely recommend checking it out! My one suggestion is that they should make you pay at the end, because we totally forgot to tip! Our bad
Definitely go here. Great drinks, food, atmosphere.
Always a delightful place to visit! Great beer to be had both in their pub and store.
It is quite a nice place, I had the opportunity to try this beer in Ottawa, in a bar in Mississagua. I love this beer is delicious. Now that I visit Vancouver the factory is here and I do not hesitate to visit it to try it again and take to my country enough beer to share with my friends. Widely recommended. The attention of the boys is excellent. A must stop.
Vibrate place, a bit noisy when busy, very good staff and above all great beers. Spend some hours there! Note WiFi is lousy.
Cool spot, good beer. I'm really surprised, as a tourist, how difficult it is to walk to granville island from the west end. I would think that all the businesses on the island would somehow subsidize a free ferry. $3+ each way for a really short ferry seems silly, and if you want to walk you have to go way out of your way to access the top side of burrard or granville street. There should at least be stair cases up to the bridge level from the island.
The brewery tour was casual but super interesting, plus the beer is quite tasty! The staff were friendly and fun.
Charcuterie board was very rich, grapes, cucumber, three meats and two types of cheese as well as some other items . We also had a pint of west coast IPA. Great service and staff are looking after the patrons. Nice place overall!
If I could give -1 It would be my note ... false representation ... at exorbitant prices I find it quite insulting to make us laugh ... I bought 4 cans with watermelon and finally the citrus and grapefruit taste is disgusting ... where is the taste of watermelon ???? First time and last time for me
.
Great beers, try Infamous IPA and the Lions Winter Ale.
First time to Grandville Island after some walking and shopping we decided to head to the Keg 4 an Appy and Cocktail so happy we came it was Happy hour got a double Caesar 4 $10 bucks and a incredible order of Calamari with 2 dips Everything was awesome including our waitress Val...And my Sister loved her Heineken Draft 18 oz 4 $6 bucks..
The west coast IPA is the best IPA I've ever had, I'd highly recommend
If you have a good time, you can have sampler beer.
Great brew. Food nothing more than bar/pub food with no real flair. But great brew.
The waiters seem to enjoy chatting rather than hosting the customers. Takes a really long time to have a seat even though there are vacancies.
Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, awesome place for meeting friends!!
Wonderful location.
Great brewery! During covid-19 times there is some line, expect 20-30 minutes during peak time.
Beer was ok. Service was wonderful. Small patio up front.
I love this place. Great beer, great food, and great service make it a very worth while stop. I can't wait until I can make the trip here again.
Two stars for a really disappointing brewery tour...whilst trying her best, unfortunately our guide didn't have the knowledge or passion for the topic.
If you are going to buy any merch it's still worth taking a tour, $9.75 and you get 3x 5oz beers and 15% off in the store.
Staff is all on top of their game. Prices are typical definite go to just to say you did
Awesome brewery tour and beer tasting - definitely worth a visit if your in town
Friendly service and good beer! Not the cheapest growler fill in town but you can't beat the location.
Great variety of beers. Good food and great service. The beers are unique and very high quality. I will definitely go there again
Nice little brewery right on Granville Island. Tried a sampler flight and the poutine. Great location and staff.
Not the best beer/brewery in town, but it is the best in this part of town
Great place to go for a tasting flight of local beer and some good food. Gotta try 'em all.
It was fun to stop here and enjoy the taster menu. Service was very friendly, not much food.
Cool brewery that offers tours. The tours give a good insight into how beer is made. The restaurant is nice and it has a large selection of craft beers to choose from.
Perfect stop for a pint while visiting the market. Fast service, good food menu, and a large variety of beers. $20 flight to try all the beer, amazing deal!
Cool place _ lots of selection of beers, tasty bites and fabulous location.
Perogies are a must, the beer on tap is also amazing.
Oh So Good!
This place was so high on my list, and my word was it everything I had hoped it would be. We arrived at just the right time (the lines get hectic, which we dodged), and had a wonderful lunch. $18 for a flight of beer is stupid great value, and there wasn't a brew that we didn't enjoy. The food was amazing too which helped our love affair. Oh my when can I return!?!
Lots of beer selection, great atmosphere and fair price.
Excellent place. The drinks are different and very tasty. We tried the putini and it is wonderful besides ordering a pizza in pieces, margherita. Very good too. For those who like craft beer this is a great option. The environment is very cool and beautiful.
Took a guided tour of the facility. Guide explained the brewing process along with sharing many other interesting facts. We sampled three beer after the tour in the sampling room. The facility is really cool. Small but effective brewery. Loved the tour and the beer.
Lots of beers to choose from. None of them really stood out though.
They make some nice beers, IPA is my favourite, get a flight and try them all.
I went to stop the beer sampler, but it was a pity because the corona virus did not sell the sampler.
The staff were friendly and the amount of persimmon that I ordered with the snacks was reasonable and not expensive.
Beer was plain
BRILLIANT. totally worth the queue to get in.
EXCELLENT
I like their beer and the space is very well put together. I haven't tried their food yet but it looked good.
I think it's a little too much touristic for my taste, given the prime location they're at, but other than that it's a great spot to hang out. Try seating at their communal table and just start a random conversation with other folks.
The waffle fries are amazing! It's a must for sure! The beers of course are very good, for me the pale ales and IPAs were my top picks.
Great service and knowledge of beer. This place is great to try out their different beer, and then to actually buy cans of it elsewhere. Only their smaller batches of experimental beer is brewed here, most of their stuff is brewed at the Molson Brewery downtown.
Hey! You know what sucks? This place. Dumb staff. Mediocre beer. No patio and no actual patrons. Always empty. That's all it has going for it, empty seats. Seven years around this neighborhood and it's always disappointed. Only for tourists. Too bad
Absolutely the best! Christine the server and Ro the bartender are two if the best customer service associate's in Vancouver!
Super fresh amazing beer. Had Darb good pizza as well.
If you're looking for a fun time out, this is a great place to visit in Vancouver. It's a landmark experience. We enjoyed their beer tasting and tour. IThey have a wide selection of beers that are a popular choice in restaurants everywhere. Then, after it's nice to walk around Granville Island by the water. We highly recommend it for a date night or a fun night out with friends.
Get the map! Awesome value to try all of the beers. We split between two people and had more than enough to drink. Service in the tap room was good, we came on a Sunday and even though it was busy we didn t wait long for a table. Fun atmosphere on a rainy day. The brewery is a mandatory stop on the island.
Delicious beers, great atmosphere. A must in Vancouver. And not just for tourists.
Great brewery with some really good and different beers. Lots of chairs to sit at and has a liquor store connected. The brewery tour is a fun activity to do.
Nice resting place after a bike ride. The beer is good but the food portion is a little small.
I went in to try a flight of beers because I've been a long time customer of theirs and was visiting Vancouver. But they refused to seat me. Even though there were multiple two person tables available because I was by myself and there was no room at the bar they said they said they wouldn't seat me. It was their "policy".
Well now you lost a regular customer for years who will never be buying your beers again. Who would have thought a local craft brewery would be acting like such an impersonal corporation!!!
definitely a Vancouver icon, but not the best brewery in town. the tasting room has much improved, but the prices in the store are pretty high for a brewery, and service is slow.
Let the barman choose my beers but looking back, think I would have made some different choices. But the beers I tried were still nice and definitely lots of options to try.
Had a great time at Granville Island Brewing. No longer an independent micro brewery but still great beer and a great room. We felt like we were traveling as I think we were the only locals in the room. Good room, good beer, nice service and a great location. Looking forward to going back. Recommended.
You usually have to wait in line (it's pretty small), but it's a great place to grab some food and beer.
The time is very suitable, there is no such thing as the order, that is, on the wine table, 10 kinds of fresh beer, the three cups of grapefruit in the middle are too heavy, other good. The clerk was very responsible, and the two young people in the next location were checked by the clerk to see if they reached the age of drinking.
Good place to visit. Many beers.
Flight option.
An absolute gem of a place. The beer samplers were amazing. Also the service was excellent. Our server Emily was amazing and we could not ask for a better experience. We will definitely be back!!
sat up at the bar. bartender was fun and good to talk to. and she knew what was going on at each table. and fyi, she is Adele's doppleganger. good atmosphere, worth the half hour wait to be seated. did not have any food, so can't comment.
Good brewery with nice if not small food selection and special small keg taps available here only. Beer store is good and also carries wines from BC, and they fill growlers too. Friendly staff.
