Good place to warm up on a cool day. Pretty good...
Good place to warm up on a cool day. Pretty good value especially at happy hour. Happy hour may tend to stretch to much more than 60 minutes however so be warned.
Nice whiskey too.

For how long it takes to get in sometimes, the food (and even drinks) aren't really anything to write home about. Do yourself a favor and visit a different establishment. Standard pub fare food at inflated prices.
Went with 4 friends for lunch two of us didn t drink and two do. Our wait staff was making rude inattentive and unprofessional. He tuned out the second I said I wanted water and didn t drink, ignored me and my other sober friend for food orders and only served the two friends of mine who drank literally walking away after he took there orders. Overall one of the most insulting restaurant experiences of my life.
Highly recommended for a open view brewery pub great service and food
Brother and I stopped by here to enjoy some good local brew and Granville was on the top of our list. We tried the sampler rounds and so glad that we did! So many words to describe Vancouver, not enough to express how I truly feel. Keep it real Vancouver. You make my heat sing.
It's a brewery in the heart of Vancouver
They make about six types of beer, but it has a shop where you can buy other types besides wines and liquors
In the bar area we recommend you ask for the tasting of 10 beers, for 20 $ they put you 10 glasses of about 20 cl of different beers 6 of theirs plus 4 different ones that vary
They also have meals so they do not get so many beers on their heads
Rating specifically for their management for Covid sales. They have a designated stand outside with a guy that gives you your order, and the pay with tap over the closed window is genius. Very organized and well planned out, makes me feel comfortable shopping from them during this pandemic.
Love it! Had a wonderful time, lots to buy, lots to watch, artistic environment and wonderful people.
Location is great and the staff is nice, but the beer is lacking. The styles they offer are interesting (gose with peach, raspberry wheat, etc) but the beer lacks complexity and you're left feeling "meh" after every beer. As long as you set your expectations with this place it's fine but don't expect anything too fancy with the beer itself.
Great food and wonderful samples of beers. If you like different beers to sample then come check this place out.
The food is ok, I don't have an opinion about their beer because I don't drink.
The place is crowded with a line, but the beer is only OK. I think it's overrated because it's on Granville island.
Usually enjoy coming here but at the time we visited they were short staffed they were unable to cope with the amount of people that they were serving had to ask to order drinks and then it came wrong didn t bother with food as it took us long enough to get our drinks
Menu is out of date and not as good. Makes things tricky if you have any food allergies.
Great beer, horrible service. We waited 5-10 minutes for a server to recognize our existence despite the bar being half-empty. The beer was delicious but it s available most places in Vancouver. I d recommend getting it elsewhere.
Service was great, but thought the beer was just average. Food looked great, but didn't have any.
Fantastic vegetarian poutine and even better beers. The staff and brewing team are amazing and knowledge. They are super friendly and helpful and had great suggestions for visitors. I had an awesome time there.
Granville Island Brewing is a bit small in size and can have a wait line.
However, I appreciate their beer flights, which starts from $7 CAD (very reasonably priced).
I appreciate how they have the menu serving as the placement for when your beer comes so you remember what you've ordered if you ever want to read back on the beer notes.
The drink and meal I ordered were both unavailable, so I had to choose something else. The beer and meal were okay but nothing special. Staff was friendly. They close really early.
Came over to the island to try the
Mocha porter on tap
Decided the maple shack cream ale was more my wife s taste
While I am always getting the Hefeweizen for myself
Service is always great and place is always clean
Great beer, good prices, and nice ambiance. Would definitely come back
Good place to drink and snack. If you want to try all the brews they offer, better get the sampler. The wings are awesome too!
We had so much fun beer tasting here!
They make everything so easy for everyone of varying preferences. On the menu, they clearly label the ABV (Alcohol By Volume) and the IBU (International Bitterness Units) in addition to describing the flavor profiles of each beer. I have the hugest sweet tooth so I went straight for the one with the lowest IBU. Easy peasy!
And you can't beat the price points: $2.50 for a 5-ounce taster, $7 for a flight of 4 tasters, and $5.50 for a 16-ounce sleeve. It's a steal of a deal!
We ordered a poutine to share. It was decent, nothing to write home about, but good enough and we weren't there for the food anyway.
The location was great, the service friendly, and atmosphere lively. Overall just a great brewery well worth a visit!
Was at Granville Island Brewery for a training session and was treated to a tour and some sampling by Zach and Robert. Both were enthusiastic about the beer being brewed and the work they do and showed great hospitality. As well as Zach and Robert, thanks also to Jack, James and Aimee for being great students. I had lots of fun today.
Lastnight I showed up to the Brewery with 15 friends to find out they were closed. We made a reservation weeks ago...
Just to say too much traffic
But very beautiful to see
Brewery & restaurant crowded on weekdays.
It is a luxurious place where you can compare freshly brewed beer in the brewery.
You can compare beer with a variety of beer such as Pilsner, IPA, Pale Ale.
Even people who are not good at beer are fine. Cocktails and sodas are also well stocked.
I am not familiar with beer, but when I compare it
I was surprised that the taste was completely different! Beer is deep. .
Because there is a set compared to drinking, it is fun when you try to hold a tasting party while sharing.
It is an attractive brewery where you want to find your favorite cup.
Great brewery. Stopped in here for lunch, was seated straight away and had a great service. We ordered the poutine to share which was full of flavour and tasted great. Also had a beer flight which was great.
Good location, great beer, amazing waffle fries
[Food] I ordered a burger with waffle fries. The burger was decent but the waffle fries were absolutely amazing. I'd go back just for them. They're no longer serving flights because of the pandemic. That's a shame but they still have a good selection of beer to choose from.
[Service] Very slow, there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant. They need to hire more.
[Atmosphere] Sitting in a brewery and seeing them work on the beer while you're drinking it is special.
great spot for a beer ! y can try 4 beers for 7,5 cad!
Good selection. Good location for tourists and vistors.
For some reason they weren't servicing flights (is that a COVID thing??), so we were stuck with ordering just pints. The server was knowledgeable and recommended some good beers. We unfortunately missed the liquor store hours by just minutes so were unable to purchase anything to take home, but we will definitely visit again the next time we are in Granville Island.
Most of the beers were pretty good, but selection was limited and they mostly only offered IPA's. Also, they dont offer beer flight boards, which was a bummer. Would have given a better review. Otherwise friendly staff.
They have a great selection of beer. I highly recommend a flight of beer to try more than one kind!
Great place to enjoy a delicious beer selection. Try the ISA also named a Session IPA. It is great...
We waited in a line for about 5 min to get in then were seated at a community table. Our order of two beers was taken but we were never served. Waited about 20 mins, watching those around us that came after ya receive their beers. I even asked my husband if he had said something offensive to the waiter when I had gone to the restroom that would have delayed our order! Point is, we didn t get served. The waiter never even stopped back over to let us know the beer was on its way. I understand that they were busy, but that s inexcusable to wait 20 minutes for 2 beers. When the bartender left the bar area before we were served we ended up leaving. Didn t get to try the beer. Oh well, googled a new spot & went to @FacultyBrewing and had delicious beers with great service.
Awesome place with a great selection of craft beer with rotating taps and crowd pleaser appies
P.S. The Tortilla and Dip is pretty tasty -( made with margarita avocado salsa ) definitely a try.
And the vegetarian filling tacos are the best!
Love Beer & Bud check out FacebookDOTCOM/hempfusioncanada
Perfect burger, rotating tap is good and interesting.
Honestly, my wife and I love our craft beer so we were looking forward to this. We waited in line over 20 minutes (no big deal) and then after we were seated, we waited another 15 for menus. Then, the waiter returned and as we were about to order, got called away. We waited another 15 minutes for him to return. All in all, we waited an hour for a beer that in my opinion, was pretty poor. I had the Northwest and my wife had the Watermelon. Both were poor quality. We won't be returning and don't really see anything special about this place except it's history. Shame.
Good, quick service in the store. Fridges always fully stocked.
Really great vibe. Has kombucha for us non-drinkers.
I LOVE YOUR LIONS WINTER ALE!!!!I WISH IT WERE ALL YEAR ROUND!!!.......
Probably my favorite brewery. The location is great, the staff is very funny and friendly, and the beer is amazing ! It's been 2 years I think since I went the last time because I live in Qc. Good new is I can drink their beer here. But it not as satisfying as going directly to the brewery.
Went last Sunday. Staff weren't all that friendly. Seemed to not want to be there. Get more cheery staff rather than dreary
One of the more fun and tasty brewpubs that I've been to. They have 7 standard brews and 3 seasonal, all available on 1, 2-person flight. The maple ale is really a good red ale, and the Summer Ale has hints of citrus. All 10 were quite good. They have a limited pub-food menu, from which we ordered poutine which was served quick, hot and the fries were crispy. The service (Emily) was wonderful.
Inexpensive priced flights, good service, smaller food menu. Was pretty busy when we went today. Beer was good. Got some of the specialty fries they have there, they were mediocre. Would be nice if they had some more 'pub' ish food on the menu or smaller shareable items. I would go back though!
It was a great tour, very informative. Our guide Zack was very good. I would recommend for any beer lover. Plus, Granville Island is always a great place to go.
Their beer selections was decent. Their staff was super friendly and helpful. Prices for the beer was very good.
You have to try their RAW TUNA FISH TACOS, best taco in Vancouver. Was delicious 10/10.
Local Granville Island brewery with a small food menu. Retail store for items to purchase.
Great local brews and eats. A bit crowded and slow service.
The experience you'd like to have :)
Great beers with good daily selections.
They serve beer till 8pm but don't serve food after 5ish which is not very good.
You will enjoy shopping the retail store beside the tap room as there's a lovely selection of beers that you can't find in liquor stores.
Good beer but limiting with only being able to drink one beer. Would love to have two or three. But all around good place.
