A below average hotel proved to be below our expectations and its stars. Upon arrival, there was no one to pick up the suitcases or park the car. It should be noted that the parking outside the hotel was not sufficient, it was suffocatingly filled with double-parked vehicles. And at the reception they ask you the registration number for obvious reasons !!!! Unimaginable things about a 5 star hotel! Very low quality world. The whole hotel is a vast playground of poor quality with voices, skirmishes and pedestrians and generally a lot of noise. It is not meant for a 5-star hotel to have dirty carpets in reception, poor maintenance, poorly insulated rooms, and a poor 1980s-style breakfast. Also, the coffee is not as cheap as in other units, but they carry a small jug of exactly two cups capacity (we were 2 people). The dining chairs where breakfast is served require maintenance and painting because their handles are so worn and black from the dirt. The bathroom battery is missing the shower that activates the shower phone and when you complain at your reception they say that there is a pin that does this job, and they display it as normal! The staff are untrained and indifferent. At check out they were not ashamed to charge 3 for the bottle of water from the mini bar! (I do not want to make comparisons, but during our stay at Costa Navarino the corresponding water was not charged!). In conclusion, I would not recommend it, I would not choose it again, but I would also make sure not to go through it either!

Excellent hotel, in a very central location in the city of Ioannina. I visited it in the middle of a pandemic with my husband and my baby. What impressed me at the hotel is the service by providing a baby cot. The cleanliness was very good, as well as the service from the staff. The only point that would like some improvement is the breakfast as well as the dinner that I would prefer more variety as it was also obvious and the lack of staff regarding the service in the restaurant. I think he had shortages for a five star hotel, I hope it is due to changes due to a pandemic. Otherwise you always had access to the hotel car park as well as the surrounding area was very tidy. It is important that they made us feel comfortable and safe, always following the rules provided in times of pandemic.

It is a decent hotel in a good, central, spot of the city. The rooms are spacious, clean and relatively tidy. It has a mediocre swimming pool and spa (I did not visit it). The restaurant has a pretty good restaurant for food and breakfast.
The disadvantages of the hotel are parking. Although there is a free outdoor area, however, it is not usually enough after 11 o'clock in the evening, it is full and you are forced into maneuvers in order to squeeze it in some corner at a glance. I also complained that there were no 1-2 bottles of water in the freezer, except for a fee. At the half-board dinner, bottled water was normally charged. My first time happens to charge the water in the buffet at half-board.

A very good hotel near the center of Ioannina. On foot the castle with the old town, the lake and the shops are at 15 '. The hotel has a very nice restaurant with a great variety of food and a very strong bar with all the related. It also has a good SPA parking. I will always prefer it.

This is a separate hotel. One of the best hotels we have in the country. Expensive, but it honors all the money you pay. Much more when you think that many are asking for the same and more, but not even offering half.

Impressively luxurious hotel! You can't say that ... But beyond that, maybe the kindest staff I've ever met! Always polite and eager to serve you all. The rooms are spotless, luxurious and all wonderful. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the hotel is probably not for families and children ... With my 2 year old daughter I felt very uncomfortable every time she raised her voice and disturbed her so much. intense quiet. It might have been so luxurious that it didn't allow my eyes to feel this "warmth" that we were finally looking for as a family.

I visited it a short time ago. Clean and comfortable rooms. The bathroom is quintessential. The breakfast is rich and good enough. The theme of parking needs study, especially in the evening. Everything else, all right.

Excellent hotel. Clean, carefully decorated, with very kind staff and good breakfast. The mattress in the room is fantastic and the bar is very nice.
The only minuses I found. It was a little cold in the meeting room, even though the heating was on. Of course I should mention that the conditions were special, it was snowing and it had low temperatures. Also on arrival it took me a quarter to get into the parking lot because my car was stuck at the entrance to the ice. They should have taken care to be someone and keep the entrance clean of snow and ice.

I had to stay in 2 other hotels lately, which, probably not following the instructions of the odey, operated the air conditioning for the pleasure of the customers. At least there should be information on how it works and a solution may be found for the difficult summer days. I wonder if the air conditioning and other regulations apply to all areas of the hotel. I also do not find a reasonable customer in a "5 star" hotel looking to find a solution to protect themselves from mosquitoes in the late hours of the night.

Great Room and Staff. Disappointed that my 6 years old daughter couldn't use their indoor swimming pool due to their policy allowing only Spa users to it. Disappointed with breakfast and serving staff, it doesn't match 5 star hotel.

Entering the room the basin was carelessly cleaned and there was no lever in the shower to open it. The air conditioning was working in the air inside the hood and for three days I was looking to fix it. We were in the room with a jacket. Every day the repairman (supposedly) came to make it, and we finally found out that they only got the pump on at some time of the day. At least they told us not to turn on the air conditioning by trying and freezing more. The beds had wheels and every time you turned around you would go and take a walk in the room. And the climax? On leaving, they wanted to charge me for consumption from the fridge in the room I had not done. So they had done less than they should have and missed them later!

Clean rooms, spacious but quite warm. The air conditioning is not satisfactory. Breakfast and dinner I think cater to almost all tastes. It is one of the few accommodations that complies with the regulations for covid-19.

A jewel for Greek tourism is the Mitsis Grand Serai in Ioannina.

The hotel can not be 5 stars maybe 4 stars because it has a lot of negatives ... cleanliness outside the pool you press and it has pine needles even in the shower you make jumps not to step on the dirty water that collects ... then with the food it is a slow service and they give you as little as they can and you have to tell them more please ... another incident is that they tell me come later for dessert it will have the same and I go and they tell us the chocolate mousse is over .... these at 5 stars are not made ..... and it has many other negatives in general ... eg in the room the refrigerator does not have a freezer .............

It is a central hotel, with several rooms. Most visitors are families and seniors. Almost no couples like us. Due to Christmas the hotel was full and the staff could not cope especially with breakfast, where we asked 4 times for orange juice, to finally come after half an hour, 2 times hot water for tea and 1 time for coffee that never came ... No responds for no reason to the money you pay for the service.
One detail is that it has black out curtains only and not thin. So no light will enter the room if you do not want the city to see you ... the minibar has only water, soft drinks, etc. Not edible at all. No nuts or chocolate or anything else in case of a little :-)
There is no coffee maker or kettle in the room for coffee or tea. Torn towels. Asking for a second card for the door, there are two of us :-), we were told to be careful not to lose it because they will charge us if they are "re-registrable" as the night reception said very politely.
We must say that the reception upon arrival gave us smiles.
The room is as clean as one can feel when there is carpet.
Do not forget to mention the bad impression on arrival where there was no parking space..we went out twice to find because one of the employees told us that there is no space anywhere. But another more willing employee told us he had it in the basement. To go up from the basement there are only stairs at the suggestion of the same employee. Which means carrying luggage to the reception..5 star arrival ????
With the specific service (in the restaurant) and the minuses of the room it should sell 30% cheaper. I think we would be happier if the 160-180 with breakfast for the standard room was 110 at most. It would be more correct to evaluate and accept the benefits.
