The hotel is very clean and the staff is really friendly. It is connected to the convention center so it is easy to get to meetings quickly. The bar service was really good and the bar food was also pretty good. I had the Buffalo wings several times and each time they came out super hot and fresh. I wouldn't say they were the best wings I have ever had but they were still delicious because of how fresh they were.
The drinks are INCREDIBLY overpriced and they close way too early.
Happy hour was very enjoyable with Annette being our bartender!!! She was great!! Thank you!!! The happy hour is a great asset for those traveling. The location, cleanliness and service at hotel was really nice! I would definitely stay with Drury again.

The room was really clean and the pool was a huge size, which was a plus. The staff I thought were very courteous and helpful. Only thing was the price of the self parking, which is 29.99 a night. But overall really great place to stay.

I was there for the AVID Summer Institute training.The location at the riverwalk was amazing. The hotel had excellent access to restaurants and the riverwalk. The room was phenomenal, so clean and nice and modern. The staff were really great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would want to stay there the next time I'm in San Antonio.
Checked in for a 4 night stay. Room is clean, bed is ok for comfort. 2 and 3rd day no cleaning service. I now have a pile of towels on the floor. I had to call to for towels, shampoo and coffee and to have the garbage cans emptied both days. Housekeeping is so busy I had to remind them that the garbage needed emptied add they were walking away. Not what I was expecting at over $200 per night.

Fantastic visit start to finish! All of the employees were polite and helpful, the food was delicious and the room was comfortable and clean. For the price we got the room at, it absolutely exceeded expectations.
I accompanied my husband who was attending a 5 day conference. The staff was nice and it's an extremely convenient location. I don't typically have the concerned but did our 3rd day. When I got in late, it appeared the sheets eirher weren't changed or the ones used need to be retired because they visibly looked dirty when I pulled the comforter back. I couldn't get comfortable to sleep after that. And for some reason housekeeping didn't notice a stain on a towel that we didn't use because she put it on top of new ones but there was no way of missing it. I called housekeeping the next morning and it was taken car of. But the hotel isn't on the bed bug registry which is why they are a 4 and not 3.
Great location. Within walking distance to the Alamo and the Riverwalk. The staff are friendly and helpful. My 2nd stay here. Will be back again.

Nice clean room, well priced. Only issue was I booked a king bed and received two double beds. They wanted to up charge me as they only had suites in king.
Very nice hotel, right on the Riverwalk, within a short stroll of some very nice restaurants.
Everything was average, until we decided to extend our stay by one night, we got moved that night to another awful room, old, it smelled so so bad, we couldn't sleep because of the smell, I called the front desk and ask to tell the night shift manager the situation, he told me to move to another room (we have a 15month old baby) I told him we could not be moving and moving from room to room because we had a baby, then he said he would just leave a note and hung up on me.
Next day we had to move to another room, and they didn't lend us a cart to move our stuff "hotel policies", the other room was kind of ok, but old as well as the other one.
The hotel rooms are old, the mattresses are broken, the pool is super small and super crowded, they allow drinking in glass bottles there.
The location is good and some of the stuff is friendly.
This is a very elegant and luxurious hotel. It is located in downtown San Antonio TX offering amazing views of the city. A convention center and restaurants are located within walking distance away. Plus, the famous San Antonio Riverwalk is just about a block away!

This was a great location. There was access to the riverwalk by the Ruth's Chris steakhouse which was really convenient. The hotel was clean and everything seemed nice and new which was great. Check-in was smooth and people were friendly. My only concern was the hotel was quite large and we had one of the rooms furthest from the elevator. This was fine for me and my husband but I know people who have some trouble walking a distance and I think it would have been an issue for them. Overall I was very pleased and would highly recommend.
I was at this hotel for a conference but didn't stay overnight. That said, the conference amenities were very, very nice, clean, and easy to navigate. It's located near a ton of restaurants and a mall too. I would definitely go back!

It was a normal hotel room. Not too great not too bad. Clean is standard. No extra amenities for the price. Slepr well.
I've only attended special events here in the downstairs area. The event I've gone to twice here is El Rey Fido, a fiesta event for the humane society. The staff seems to be onhand for this event and even helped with some last minute changes this year. The event was suppose to be outside, but due to wind had to moved back inside. They were quick to take down what they needed up and assist and resetting up the inside without really disturbing anyone in the small, crowded room the event was held.
This is a great hotel with nice views of downtown. It s right on the river walk and it one of the largest hotels in San Antonio. It s also pet friendly. The only thing I did not care too much for was the lack of variety for room service, Chris Ruth s (which is very tasty and we did order from) is the only option. Most hotels have room service with a variety of food options but this is mostly beef. I know we are in cattle country and beef is king but sometimes you want to eat something else. But other then that it s a great hotel.

We booked 4 rooms for our family to meet up and experience San Antonio. The hotel first impression from lobby to room was great. Our wheelchair had not arrived yet for my mother-in-law, my son spoke with the front desk and asked if they would allow us to borrow one just for a few hours so we can go to dinner. Things were within walking distance for our teenaged kids and the fitness center was the best I've seen in a hotel. Amazing my teenage son actually wanted to workout with me :) Thank you for amazing stay!

Our hotel room was dirty. It looks like they only made the bed. There was tissue paper in the closet from the person before, their used soap in the soap dish, their trash still left in the trash cans, tags from their purchases and dried urine on the floor and toilet seat. I just hope the sheets we slept on were clean. I will never stay here again!
The rooms were nice, after putting us in our 3rd room. Our booked room wasn't available (king size bed) so the first night we were put into 2 fulls (I think the claim is they are Queen, but I swear they felt smaller). The next night we were moved into a king room, only to find the toilet wasn't working. Third room was fine. It took a really long time of running water before it got hot (long enough we were questioning if the room had hot water at all), so start your shower early. Also, The rooms got hot at night, no matter what temperature we had the AC set. The bellhops were very friendly and helpful with the room changing. Overall the staff was nice, but between the hassle of the room changes and the toilet, water, and AC being sub par, I couldn't see giving it any more stars.
The hotel lobby was beautiful and spacious. It looked very clean. The hotel is in a very central location and close to everything in downtown San Antonio.
The rooms were clean and had great views. However, for a luxury hotel you pay for a lot more than you should. For example, a liter of water in your room is $4 if you broke the seal. Also, my biggest disappointment was the insanely expensive wifi. I was here for a week for work and the wifi was a minimum of $10 a day for browsing only. Unacceptable. I also believe that they use polarized windows or something because on the 8th floor my cell phone reception was terrible, even by the window, but when walking outside, I had max signal.

We were extremely disappointed with our room. We arrived late and went to sleep. When we got up to shower the next morning, there was a wad of hair on the back of the shower. Spoke with front desk and they said they would have room cleaned when we returned from our event (we were in a rush and had to use the shower :( anyway). Room was NOT cleaned, called front desk again and they said they would take care of it. We left again and they again did NOT clean it. When we called again, we were told they had cleaned the bathroom, however if they did they left all of the dirty towels on the floor. This manager said they would not provide anything else, however they did bring us clean towels. When I was packing things up and put the bedding back on the bed, I noticed dried up cereal stuck to the comforter.....We ate NO cereal in the room.
When my daughter-in-law called the hotel, they said they would speak with the housekeeper assigned to this room. I feel something additional should have been done to compensate for this horrible room. If I have a choice in hotel locations, it won't be this one and I'll think twice about using a Hyatt!
On the riverwalk with access to all the restaurants and shops. Rooms were top clean and modern. TV was 50 inches. Elevators were fast. The bar and restaurant inside the hotel was great with friendly staff and plenty of freah choices. Overall everything you would want from a hotel they do it right.

We stayed here at the grand hotel last night. The staff were very friendly and professional ! The room was immaculate! The food and drinks in the bar were on point and the bar staff ensured out party of 6 were all taken care of quickly. Our view was absolutely amazing from the 19th. Floor. The MANY positive Reviews posted hear speak for themselves! The few leaving negative comments while letting us all knows how absolutely horrible their stay was and how you failed to accommodate them as they'd hoped, speaks volumes about THEM &
makes one wonder, if this is their normal practice. They could have easily requested another room at that time or even suggested a refund or possibly asked for a discount on a future night's stay, but instead they stayed? Muddy not have been so bad after allBTW, I want to make sure I mention the young man. who was working valet this morning, her went above and beyond for me and should definitely be commended for a job well done because he is the last person we interact with and is fresh on our minds when we leave.
