St Tropez Apartments in Miami Lakes - WARNING! UNB...
St Tropez Apartments in Miami Lakes - WARNING! UNBELIEVABLY NOISY Community! Do not be deceived by the charming looks, St. Tropez is not your typical Miami Lakes quiet rental community. (Contact us for details before you move in.)
We are Miami natives, have rented & owned homes in the area for over 30 years. We can tell with all certainty, that It has been The Worst Residential Experience of My Family's Life... terribly disappointing.
Your quality of life and nervous system will suffer significantly. People are not being told the truth, they are renting out apartments while the entire property is in the middle of a lengthy major "remodeling" construction, among other things; very greedy.
Management signed us up on a 14 month lease, without giving us any warning about of what was going on -- a complete top to bottom remodeling of the entire community. The construction has lasted the full length of our lease term (DURING A HISTORIC PANDEMIC) while working and studying from home! There's never been a dull moment and they're still far from finished.
During our first week, contractors took a jackhammer right to our apartment wall, shortly after 8 am and later, cursed right outside our door. They would play music, starting around 8 am until early evening, sometimes weekends included.
Total disregard & inconsideration from management, landscapers & contractors towards residents, regarding noise levels and hours of the day -- Management loves to play dumb & is very crafty at minimizing all the wrongdoing. They're super tactical & underhanded to suit their interests.
Landscapers will crank up their mowers, chainsaws, leaf-blowers and weed-eaters every week, sometimes as earlier that 7 am. Waste truck shows up often during the week, revving and beeping, workers slamming & banging trash containers, sometimes earlier than 6 am. Unless you're on a top floor, the stumping and thudding from upstairs, are a never-ending nightmare.
To make matters worse, poorly insulated walls make the smallest sounds, such as parking lot conversations, feel like they re coming from inside your apartment. The walls are so thin, that you can literally hear the water running, from your neighbor's sink. To sum up, it often feels like a war zone in terms of noise pollution, at St. Tropez (Miami Lakes) rental community. (see photos below)
We are a well-traveled family; have stayed in countries all around the world, as well as lived in several communities nearby, including another Graham property. Additionally, in the past we ve owned homes & have managed properties ourselves, all in this area; we have never lived in a noisier place in our entire lives. Do yourself a favor, do not pay these people your hard-earned top dollars to live in such misery.
For what is worth, I do not believe that what we have experienced at St. Tropez (Miami Lakes) is the norm at all the of Graham Properties all of the time, it can't be, it's been really rough!
