Terrible office! My father had an appointment at 9am. By noon, we were still sitting in the waiting room. Once called to the back, we sat for another hour to see the doctor. When I expressed my concern with the delay, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive.

Doctor was very patient and explained everything beautifully. Appointment was Feb 12th, for my husband J David Griffin, Jr.
Arrived early twice for an appointment. No one mentioned delay when signing in. Twenty minutes past appointment time, I was told the doctor was in surgery and it would be a couple of hours. When I asked why no one said anything when we signed in - just got blank stares. Unfriendly and uncaring reception area - obviously no concern for patients who arrived on oxygen and their needs. Had to reschedule both times. Dr. Powley unfriendly - said little to nothing and nurse in room said nothing, and that was after a significant wait again. Moving to another retinal specialist.
Went here for an appt at 4pm, 5pm still waiting. Go somewhere else if you can. Desk staff were dismissive and seemed like this was routine. Looks like the couches are very well used and not comfortable.
Just received a text that my appt. has been cancelled again and moved to a later date 2 months later of their choosing. These people treat their patients like cattle, and the doctors leave this place as frequent as workers at a Burger King.
If I could give more stars I would! I had an emergency (detached Retina) and I was seen very quickly and efficiently. The nurses, surgical staff, and Dr.s were awesome and treated me with respect, and explained everything to me. I see a lot of people complaining about the wait time. It wasn't a long wait when I went, but I do have to say that it would've been worth the wait. I don't want some one rushing through my exam just to keep the patient flow moving. I highly recommend Southeast Retina Center!
Appointment was at 1 we arrived at 12:30 sit here until 2 PM before we went back. 2:45 now and still waiting. Find you another doctor. This is terrible. I have other things to do. I know your sight is very important but waiting for this is ridiculous.
To the people who complain about waiting; maybe you didn't have a serious diagnosis, but I did! When my eye dr realized I had a torn retina he called Southeast Retina Center, they had me come right then, no delay. They worked me in, and I had laser surgery the same day. I m sure this alone makes people have to wait longer. I usually plan on waiting an hour or more, but they have a tv in both waiting rooms. My first visit I was there for 4 hours! In addition, it takes time having to dilated eyes. It adds time to your visit. There is a lot of waiting, but I will never complain! I am grateful for the staff and especially my doctor! After two torn retinas, I am so grateful we have the technology to do laser surgery. My time is worth the care I receive!
Arrived for 11:00 appointment at 10:30. Was asked to fill out new patient paperwork even though I have been here before. Waited until 2:30 to see the doctor. There was no explanation or apology for the wait. Staff was very dismissive. I will not be returning.
