Google allows people who are not customers to write bad reviews on companies even write reviews that advertise for competing companies and when reported nothing happens about it. Now, people who write reviews are referred to as 'Customers' in Google My Business but according to Marriam-Webster a customer is defined as "one that purchases a commodity or service," yet there is no way to verify these are actual customers who write those reviews. I talk to business in my industry frequently and this is a widespread problem with non-customers and competitors writing bad reviews about our companies.

Great facility with lots of beautiful interior design. Japanese toilets and tons of amenities make this one of the better campuses in the US. Strong attention to detail throughout. Very clean!

Nurses were nice but had to wait in a room with a germ infested trash can that was way overflowing. Not sanitary. People I told acted like it wasn t a big deal. Finally changed it right before I left. Then doctor has the nerve to say I m unhygienic because I had some wax in my ears. Really?! But you let patients sit in rooms with over flowing germ infested trash cans? !

I get calls from Goggle 3 to 4 times a day to verify my listing, when I tell the person I am only interested in the free listing, well they are very rude. Wish they would just stop calling me.

Google has been slowly ruining the internet. Soon I'd rather use Yahoo! than Google and I absolutely hate Yahoo!. I soon might even leave YouTube because they even ruined that now. Google needs to take a hint from Apple and stop being so d*** bad at what they used to be so good at. It's absolutely mind boggling how they could go from internet giant to Bing.

I am very disappointed in google location services. We have made multiple attempts to have the address for our home and our businesses corrected but nothing has changed, it is damaging to our income and anything we attempt to have delivered is returned. This is costing money and no one will help us. They seem to lack any support for a small business and ad services will not talk to us. Very disappointing that they are becoming like any other big company.

Thanks Google for the opportunity, information, and for everything else from raising my children to becoming an optician. I remember when google first came on the scene and knew then that if I had money to bet on it would be on your success.

Staff is very friendly here.
The decorations are cool and on a good day there are plenty of spots for picture taking.
Close to other stores too, and there are bikes to ride around the park. The area with candy androids is pretty fun too.

My company's video channel was taken down suddenly without warning and without explanation. We literally have HUNDREDS of websites that this affects, but we cannot get ANYWHERE with ANYONE on the phone or online. Google owns YouTube and they OUTSOURCE their so-called "customer service" to the Phillipines. THEY DO NOT CARE. #FAIL

Troll definition as defined via Google search
troll2
/tr l,tr l/
noun
noun: troll; plural noun: trolls

1.
make a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them.
"if people are obviously trolling then I'll delete your posts and do my best to ban you"

Google provide a platform and should be responsible for the content upon that platform. Google allow an obvious platform for trolls to spit their venom via google business reviews, Google do not support the hard working business customer or their hard earned reputation, but instead allow individual employees and companies to be blatantly attacked and false reviews for all to view, without any thought for the individuals mental well being or the business reputation on the other end of the attack. People that do not get there own way will threaten businesses with a bad google review, Google review has become a tool for the small minded spiteful troll. Google do not uphold their promise to remove hateful content. It does not matter how hard you try to pursue unfair reviews, Google and their Indian call centre are simply not interested. They will however send you an email telling you to 'have a nice day!' after they have told you that a hateful, personal attack is not a violation of Google's public posting regulations.

Good job standing up to big brother. Theres no need for the defense department to have every bit of data on the internet. Palantir can cry me a river. Google will stand the test of time as the ones who stood for freedom.

The headquarters of Google does not consist of a single building but is a real architectural complex (more than 60 buildings), moreover the name Googleplex was not randomly given. The address is 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View. The main park, where you can find numerous solutions for parking, is in front of the Google Building 43. From here you can take a ride along the park and freely photograph the many quirks and curiosities that you will find: the statues of Android, a giant Tyrannosaurus Rex and the colorful bicycles that Google employees use to move from one side of the complex to the other. Also in this case unfortunately it will not be possible to do any kind of tour within the Googleplex since the only way to enter is to have an employee as a guide. There is a visitor center but do not be fooled by the name, it is intended only for those who have already had permission to enter. Although the statues have moved them to a small garden next to Google's Store (1981 Landings Drive, Mountain View) it is very nice to go and visit it to take pictures next to the puppets depicting various versions of the Android operating system. Excellent also the store next to the garden very equipped with Google and Youtube gadgets. The Google Store which is open from Monday to Friday from 10.30 to 18.30. As the undersigned, you can not leave a place without first having bought up gadgets and t-shirts.

Google My Business is a disaster. It's the worst system and listing for any business. People make unfair reviews in the business and even fake and you have to spend at least one hour on the phone with the company asking for the review to be removed. It's people all over the world that picks the calls and they don't even understand what the business is or the surrounding because they are not locals.
Also, Google My Business I the worst place to have your business because they pull out wrong addresses all the time with the nonsense algorithm they have. Whenever you need to verify a business that have multiple locations and one of that locations moves the old address will be there FOREVER. And it won't be verified because by phone the system doesn't;t have the ability to dial an extension like Apple, and the mail will never arrive because the business IS NOT THERE ANYMORE. So what? A person of the 'team' ask you to give them a call and show where you work?? How much time do you spend on verifying a listing on Google, FOREVER!
We need to spend time on making our businesses better and honestly being in Google My Business doesn't make services or products better.
2.2 Billion Users in the world are browsing and searching at it, when would be the time that all the angry and mad people stands up to it?

You are invited to join the 'I don't like Google My Business' and make them invest some money on a better product because right now, it's a disaster.

I visit the area fairly often and I love driving past some of the big headquarters but Googleplex is the saddest one so far. Perhaps in an effort to hire more diversity of people they hired a few retarded architects, and I mean retarded in the sense of holding back on their skills or education. Not too far away is the new Apple headquarters, which makes Googleplex look like cardboard compared to to glass. If I were running the show I d burn the whole thing down (the only time I d ever recommend visiting the complex) then rebuild it after hiring some actual architects.

'Google' is a pretty name. Its building and the complex of the complex is much more beautiful than the excitement. Google is giving all kinds of information all over the world to the people who are unknown at all times. Finally, Google's service is the best. I am deep in love for the people who are feeling the spirit of such service.

I was very disappointed by my experience visiting Google headquarters.

I went there in July to deliver a petition signed by over 50,000 people asking Google CEO Larry Page to end Google's financing of climate deniers like Sen. Jim Inhofe. Inhofe not only calls global warming a "hoax", he has called for the criminal investigation of climate scientists. I visited Google headquarters with a few dozen local climate activists to protest Google's breaking of the "do no evil" pledge. The Googlers we met during our protest were very nice, including the security guards, when we were on public property.

However, when we attempted to deliver the petition signatures (on a thumb drive), the security guards only allowed one person to go to the front desk. When I got there, the receptionist refused to accept the delivery, refused to put me in contact with any Google officials. Her only recommendation for how the public could reach a real person at Google was for us to submit a business proposal.

My experience at Google headquarters was a real disappointment, compounded by the recent news -- undisclosed on the Google Public Policy "transparency" page -- that Google is financing the American Legislative Exchange Council, another notorious climate denial front group.

Google, don't fund evil.

Google has made it impossible for customers to contact them for help. They directly me to go online and online does not solve my problem nor any other user who posted similar problems. I no longer trust Google. Please improve your customer service.

Unbelievable. Google allows a random person with no connection to your company to write a bad review with no evidence, no comment, and never have interacted with you. They assume you are guilty and will not remove a bad review 'because it is their policy'. It is a shameful way to do business - guilty until proven innocent.

Could consumers see Google Reviews with less fake ...

Could consumers see Google Reviews with less fake reviews by businesses trying to boost their star power, getting stars from just friends; and not customers who actually should be the ones posting reviews.

I found a business doing that, as they admitted they were never a customer. I was, and it has been an awful experience; a nightmare for one of his 'star buddies,' who has there customers in court battling it out. I am still living through it. Randy Toye of Toye Contracting in Beloit IL didn't like that I posted he was not a customer, but then complained to Google that I wasn't, but Google complied with his requests and has discarded my one star on his account; he has phone stalked me, as I called him on this once and he used the second number now he has changed his story saying that is where he got the number; his word is to be despised.

He also called me and told me that Google gave him my phone which is the fax line. If you didn't give out phone numbers then he lied about that and slander Google. He has promised he would be fair and remove it, and I did as well; and posted something nice. He did then he re-posted it. also wanted used threatening remarks, after I saw he did not keep his word. I am in the process of contacting a defamation attorney because Warner Roofing used Google to post libelous remarks about me, and I contacted your Google via your legal address, and I got ZERO response and your departments did not care at all; no letter nothing; that is why I am seeking legal counseling aid now.

Randy Toye wrote a review on his site & he called me on a fax/landline. He said that Google gave out my number. I don't believe that to be true, as why would Google do that? Wouldn't that be slanderous remark for Google? Please confirm I would call, if I knew where, but its hard to find a phone number for Google maps for CONSUMERS. I will never post reviews again with Google and will let Home Adviser and Buildzoom know that this Star Systems is phony.

I was also lambasted from being accused of posting fake reviews; and making a fake account twice; and I sent affidavits; as I did not. Scott Warner accused me, allegedly to counter some person's post; a negative review; d/b/a/ Warner Roofing /Warner Contracting, LLC. You have my letter I am sure, as I sent to legal and certified. Our situation is in court, so I found that most unsettling as he posted my first and last name for the world to see demanding payment for his substandard work; there are 3 of his "customers," who are displeased with his work ethics, as we are battling it out through the judicial system hoping for some symbolism of fairness.
