Amazing exhibition centre, three hotels within walkng distance, just off m4, but limited parking.

Fantastic place for anybody looking for new building technology, advise on self builds and market leading suppliers.

Great place to go to meet suppliers and get ideas. Very pleasant staff. If attending one of their shows, avoid weekdays as you won't be able to park near the centre, they will direct you to free parking elsewhere in Swindon and then it's a free bus back. Which is OK, but adds quite a lot of time to your vist..

What a place. If anyone is thinking about building their own home do not hesitate to visit. Knowledge of their staff is outstanding.

Not quite a 5 star but close. Fantastic for designing a house for start to finish and couldn't believe that they have a whole house built inside. Would love a house like this.

Awesome, we had a corporate booking for 120 delegates, the team, service, venue, hospitality, from booking to event and post event communication was second to none. Cannot recommend enough, even for a day out.

A great facility for professionals and builders interested in construction and building. If you are planning to build your own home or just planning an extension there are hundreds of stands and exhibitions to give you options and possibilities. A great venue with confrence, food and drink facilities and toilets. Plenty of parking on site and very easy to find just off the M4.

This place has lots of products that can be seen in it's finished application. Which makes it easier to choose the style and finish you would personally prefer

This is a great place to get ideas from, for your home construction and renovation projects. Best to come for one of the open days, when the stands are manned and a lot of your questions can be answered.

This place is great covering most aspects of self build and renovation projects obtaining new ideas

I attended the 2 day free webinar that NSBRC ran as a way to find out more information on the different options available to me. WOW, so much information packed into 2 short days. A well run webinar with lots of different built types discussed by very knowledgeable people from varying companies and backgrounds. Came away with a far clearer idea of what self-build processes are available to me and also what the self-build process entails, tips and so much more. Can highly recommend NSBRC and look forward to when I can visit in person.

Brilliant place to come for inspiration. Most stands aren't manned but you can scan the barcode and someone will get in touch.

Great free resource for renovators and self builders. Find out all you need to know about building systems from foundations to roofs and everything in between. Hundreds of supplier displays to wander through, including at least 3 complete/incomplete houses to give you ideas for your projects. Well worth spending a few hours here. You will probably want to return for more information or a training course.

Excellent setup, with several entire houses inside a giant warehouse full of every kind of demonstration type, material & supplies. Lots of great free advice and highly informative tours. Been several times for our current project to seek advice, see demonstrations & compare materials. Highly recommended.

Definitely worthwhile visiting if you're planning a home renovation or extension. Make sure you walk round the renovation house and get the audio guide - it really helps you visualise the different stages of a build project. Exhibitors only man the stands on certain days, so you'll need to follow up yourself if you want any extra information.

Amazing centre full of information and knowledgeable staff.

We hold our auctions here and the staff are great. Client also enjoy coming with a great selection of relevant trade stands.

Fascinating industry sponsored (free) exhibition centre, showing off many new self build innovations, although big displays like the media centre / automated house is showing its age as Alexa and Google Assistant connected devices overtook the display case.

Bizarre. Half closed, trying to be a conference centre as well as a source of self-build expertise. As quiet as a church, but accessible with free parking.

Fantastic resource with a convenient location by the M4. Well worth a visit.

Great for self builds and exhibition stuff if that's what you're looking for

Amazing amount of information on build and renovation and alternative energy improvements.

We drove for 2 hours to see this event, there's not enough parking. We have to park 5 minutes away then have to take a shuttle to get us back. Only one shuttle so we have to wait for 45 minutes in the cold to wait for it. Not well organized.

This was a quick visit - you could spend hours here and dig deep into the building subject of your choice. From straw bale builds to stonework, groundwork to roofing. It is like a museum in that you can look at all the layers of building work like a dissection.
Lots of information to be had and help if you want it.

I have been twice now, it's less of a place to help home builders, more of a place for businesses to push their products. it was a little disappointing.

Outstanding and inspiring centre, great staff that are incredibly professional, all in one convenient place. The NSBRC are 'Business Against Homelessness' community champions squarely committed to improving the life opportunities of others.

Take your own food though. Sandwiches are dry and expensive!

Learnt a lot, worth going. We spent 2 days to get round all the stalls, talking to the exhibitors, going to talks. If you are looking at building or upgrading your home, go here first

Good parking good cafe good exhibits & really friendly staff

A bit small compared to other venues such as the NEC and exel centre, very difficult getting here using public transport from Swindon train station, it's out by the motorway in a car dominant environment. However it was interesting to visit

We spent Friday 17 May at this venue. Staff and presenters are helpful and friendly. The workshops and presentation start on time, speaks are practical and generous with their time. If you are interested in specific and niche product, check they have a fully manned stand. Many exhibiters don't. My reason for 4 stars rather than 5. It's well worth a visit, you need at least one day. Enjoy, I did. TD

What a good in site information place. Very informative from all forms of companies. No pressure from anyone. Everything under one roof. With experts on hand for any questions or queries you might have. A must if you are thinking if doing any building work.

Very useful place to visit if you like me are building your own house, a bit out of my way but worth the trip.

Excellent centre for any budding self builder, has some great demo areas although some areas are a bit dated and need some fixing up.

What an excellent idea, everything for the self builder and diy person

We went on two guided tours at the centre. ( The Renovation House and the New Build ) Both were hosted by Colin who has a passion that really makes all the information he is imparting all the more interesting and easy to understand.
The whole set up of the centre makes the experience of looking for information about almost any building topic easy with no attempts at hard selling any one product.

A unique experience and a must for anyone thinking of doing any building work on their house (and not just building a new house). If you visit outside "event days" you can look at over 100 permanent product exhibition stands without having to battle the typical crowds. You can also sign up for some great value "self build" courses.

if you're looking for information on how, where, what and why for renovating or building a house from scratch, then this is well worth a visit.

Very impressed with The NSBRC. Even though they preparing for a conference we were able to have a look around. So helpful if you are planning a self build or refurb and you are not in the trade. Clear info and not salesy at all. You are issued with a bar code reader so you select what is relevant and of interest, scan it, and the manufacturers get in touch thereafter. Very slick. Particular praise to Sharon who could not have been friendlier and more helpful when we pitched up for a look around.
