Staff great, view great, room old, but with charm. Breakfast a huge flop! Not even worth a 2 star. Therefore 2 star deduction. With a regular room price of CHF 500 for our large room, you can expect something!

Everything looks fantastic except the service. We are the only guest at terrace, no service staff ask us, it seems they are not yet wake up. Cold, slow and absolutely NO customer service attitude.

A hotel of a certain standard but a bit "old". The lake view of some rooms is beautiful and relaxing. The bedding is correct and the service is friendly. The hotel has no parking spaces but you can park on the road and ask for a parking sticker at a preferential price at the reception. The location of the hotel is good, not far from the center and with direct access to the flowered promenade.

Rooms: nicely renovated, balcony with a view, modern bathroom with walk-in shower, unfortunately very noisy Restaurant service: inattentive, seems overwhelmed, only mediocre English Restaurant - kitchen: loveless, not according to a 4 star hotel (canteen-like)

Hotel was good. The rooms are older, but did not bother us. Check-in and check-out is very easy and uncomplicated. The location of the hotel is of course a plus. Negative was the availability of parking. You have to access the public in front of the hotel. It is also possible that you have a room directly opposite the railway. Then it is difficult to sleep with windows open.

It's just so great to stay here~ if not considering the location and the price... Staffs are great. The view is great. Food is ok. Yet, it's too far from the station. It takes at least 15 mins via the main road, and 25 mins along the shore. If you carry heavy luggage, please find some other hotels closer to the station. Or you'll find it's hard to go anywhere either from or to the hotel... Everything inside is very antique. Despite the price and the location, it's very enjoying to stay here.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the city center. The front desk staff was not very helpful, gave only sparsely and on demand information about the dinner and the Wlan code. However, the luggage could be stored temporarily at the reception. The door was clamped, the train was constantly heard, the staff mediocre friendly. Room otherwise clean and okay, old decor. TV worked only with interruptions. The breakfast was rich.

Was twice in this hotel and certainly not the last time. Very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The only point of criticism was the bathroom, clean as the whole room, but it had a bathtub and no shower.

The view from My lakeside Room was Fantastic. Bon port Bus stop is 2 mins walk from the Hotel. Rivera card is free of charge. WIFI works great everywhere. Bathrooms are neat and Clean. Beds are spacious. Fans provided on Demand. Helpful Front office and Lobby members. Directions on Google map very wonky. The floor is old and Super Creaky. The Vegetarian options are breakfast are sparse . Very Strict Check-in Times. A little far from City Centre.

Very nicely renovated rooms, with a wonderful view of the lake (not all rooms have been renovated yet). The staff cares very much about the wishes of the guests. Half board is very cheap and the portions are big enough to fill you up. Half board is a 3 course menu. The train cannot be heard very well in the renovated rooms. So if that bothers somebody. If I had been in a non-renovated room, I would certainly have given fewer stars.

Very unfriendly service - after voucher was mentioned, suddenly all rooms were occupied for the next 6 weeks. In the end, I'm now sitting on an expensive voucher, for which I would have to apply for an extra vacation to redeem it during the week in December. Find the whole procedure very cheeky and assume that the hotel is speculating that as many people as possible will buy the voucher and then ultimately not (can) redeem it. I'm going to book another hotel now and get annoyed about the useless voucher.

Finding a parking space is unfortunately not a good reception, but the hotel has a sensational location, friendly staff and good food. Unfortunately, one notices the age of the house, but that could also be booked as charm and character.

We stayed at this hotel one night in a cameta trio, overlooking the lake. The pro is certainly the position. On the beautiful lakeside promenade, a quarter of an hour from the train station on foot, a very pleasant walk on the shore. Superb view. Against is the bathroom, a little small, with the fan not working. The night is noisy both in the hotel and on the lakefront, being a resort with nightlife. Breakfast plentiful but not of exceptional quality. I would go back for the kindness of the staff- they speak Italian- and for the view and the location. Chillon Castle is a half hour walk away

Good sized rooms. The bathroom was massive and the shower was very powerful. The views from the balcony over the lake while having a beer were superb. Only 15 minute walk from the train station I would definitely recommend .

This hotel is recommended in every way. It is very well maintained, good food, attentive service and beautiful garden. Located on the lake. Price performance is right. We have been here several times.

A beautiful and quiet hotel with a view of the lake very beautiful and its atmosphere is romantic. Breakfast is good and the reception staff are smiling .. In general Montreux is a dreamy city and it is worth a visit and I recommend staying in hotels overlooking the lake that all activities are available On the lake promenade

We had a great stay at the Golf Hotel in Montreux. The hotel is fairly central and overlooks the lake. As a matter of fact you can walk around the lake from the hotel garden entrance. The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the lake and the garden. Coffee facilities and a safe are in the room. spacious bathroom with amenities (missing a shower cap). The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Beautiful terrace. Lovely breakfast. The only downside of the breakfast buffet was that the hot food on the buffet was iced cold both mornings. The food was however fresh with a lot of variety.

The place is annoying overlooking a train station and the breakfast is very simple, the place is air-conditioned and the service is bad, the price is very expensive, I do not recommend it at all

Hot room with no air conditioning. Old, stained furniture and sheets. Half of the lake view rooms are cut off by hotel walls. Mosquitos infested our room. We ask for them to help, the staff gave us bug spray to use ourself, we ended up having dead and live mosquitos everywhere. The staff offered no replacement room and just expected us to sleep with dead flies next to us . You don t treat people like this .

My friend and I stayed here for one night. The staff is nice, but the room was a disaster, everywhere were hair from our predecessors to see and even in bed we found a long black hair (we are both blond). In the bathroom it was the worst, on the lavabo was an unidentifiable yellow hard mass and on the floor dirt and hair. The worst part was a broken stone in the paneling, right by the toilet and I fell over it. For the price (200.-) simply insufficient. No more!

The refurbished rooms are nice, make sure to get rooms facing the lake as the views are amazing. Staff is friendly and welcoming. A slight negative was the bathroom in our room which should be refurbished, but overall the stay was very good. You might not find parking right in front of the hotel, but that wasn't too big of a deal for us. Considering the great deal we got, it was outstanding value for money.
