The place has a beautiful location and views but needs to be renovated

Historic hotel with fitted carpet in the room (I prefer more modern hotels). Location is great. It has a nice garden with a small fish pond; some sunbeds and chairs were available (romantic). Through the garden direct access to the busy path along the lake shore. This is beautiful and there are various works of art to visit (outdoors, free).
Staff friendly. Breakfast buffet rather average good; everything is there, but I lack the love in detail. Labeled parking (-: and we got pass for free public transport.

There is a staff here who discriminates Asian people. My family and I came here and we got six people. There are six people in our group; my boyfriend and I, my parents and my grandparents who are very old. We rented three rooms. One staff is not respecting my dad. We asked to rent three umbrella but they allowed only two (there are some umbrellas left.) The staff was not rejected politely. Also, he did not say sorry. I have traveled around Europe and this was the worst experience ever. Very disappointed. (If you are the manager, I am willing to tell which staff did this to my family. You can contact me personally.)

My favourite hotel in Montreux. Clean, spacious, makes me feel special Everytime I am there Good breakfast with a view. Their restaurant is very good as well

Everything is done on foot from the hotel.
An exceptional setting and a magical place.
The room was perfect, only a few misses in terms of dust in the bathroom disappointed me.

Come to visit Montreux and the region for a few days, we decide to stay in this beautiful hotel! And we are really not disappointed !! A Deluxe room with lake view ... And what a view !!!!!!! Just sublime, magnificent !!! The bedroom is large and spacious. A very decent king bed even though it's not a big double bed but 2 single beds pushed together. I remove a star for some perfectible details. The breakfast is of good quality but sorely lacking in choice. No bathrobe or slippers in the room ... For a 4-star it's disappointing. The cleanliness of the bathroom can be improved with mold on the joints. Not even a free bottle of water in the room .. The mini bar is very expensive and the parking for the day too ...
The hotel is not very modern but it has its charm.
But it's still an excellent stay in a magnificent region !!

I stayed one night with a friend and while the room had a great view, the staff was extremely unfriendly, the 4 course dinner was extremely poor and the breakfast even worse. We got undercooked risotto (the grains were hard), and when we told them it wasn't eatable they replied with "Have you ever eaten risotto before?", followed by a long explanation of how risotto cannot be cooked for too long because it turns mushy. Which is frankly rude. The staff goes out of their way to be correct (swiss style) which is in principle fine, if they were equally strict with their standards too.
