Nice, clean and complete with newspapers. Restaurant super, best breakfast ever!

Beautiful location; we stayed here for 2 nights as a stopping place for a long bike ride with our sport bikes. This could be parked safely in storage under lock and key. Friendly staff and on foot to explore the city. Wonderful beds. But that is not so difficult after 100km cycling.

Great hotel. Tidy room and friendly staff. Breakfast was okay but no more than that. Sandwiches and drinks not fresh at breakfast. Therefore not five but four stars.

Good price, excellent central location for a business hotel. Very convenient for the train station and LUMC, especially if you are arriving late or leaving early. WiFi worked seamlessly. No swimming pool.

Golden Tulip and Tulip Inn are the same, but online reservations at the latter seem to be cheaper.
Very nice rooms and great breakfast. There was the option for take-away breakfast for 8 less, which was a nice way to have something as we left very early for a plane.
Excellent overall experience!

Professional reception. Hotel room fine, had everything we wanted.
But especially the dinner with a more than excellent dessert was a surprise.
Better advertising was hardly possible.

Good hotel in a central location to explore the city on foot

A friend and colleague recommended it. The hotel is only 2 mins' walk from the railway station and was within walking distance of my 2 business appointments. Breakfast was delicious. Room and bed comfortable. I would definitely return.

Hotel was quite ok, but parking could be improved...

Had a course day here. Lunch was disappointing for me as a vegetarian. Cheese, cheese, cheese or sweets. And soup was also far from neatly served. The buffet was only moderately refilled, so you had to wait a long time and the break was over too quickly and you could not have a quiet lunch.

Centrally located, good hotel with very good breakfast! The rooms are very clean! In 5 minutes you are in the middle of Leiden and only 5 KM in Katwijk aan Zee !! I would book again!

Nice hotel within walking distance to the train station and not too far from Leiden main St. Decent breakfast, comfortable bed. Stayed in the renovated area where rooms are somewhat smaller than the 'older' area.

Very nice and quite spacious rooms, very clean and modern in the inside - don't let the ugly outside scare you off! Breakfast and coffee are also great, staff is friendly and helpful.

We have been eating there, it was cozy and spacious. Food quality was good. Staff were approachable, friendly yet professional. Parking is possible behind the building on a private parking lot.

Hotel was fine, not super luxurious but just okay. Rooms were clean, staff are friendly. You can park behind the hotel, which is very pleasant. The breakfast in the restaurant next door is also extensive and good.

Very nice place to stay in the centre of Leiden. Excellent train and bus connections towards any direction. For guests well equiped gym free of charge. Rooms are furnitured in modern style. Staff is always very helpful. I've been there many times and I would really recomend it!

This place is very close to the Leiden Central station and the city central as well.Everything is within 5-15 mins walk.Nice spacious rooms and beds.

Clean and neat, staff very friendly and polite. There is a locked storage for bikes near the backdoor. Breakfasts were good: omelette, sausage, fruits & vegetables & sweets, tea, coffee & juice.. We stayed at 3* Tulip Inn (4* Colden Tulip and 3* Tulip Inn are connected), the room was not too big and the shower could be larger as well but it was OK. My GF said the room lacked cleaning a little bit but it definitely was not too bad, and the linen was just fresh. I could say that asking EUR4 for a few pieces of baguette at the hotel restaurant is slightly too high but overall the dinner was fine. Good value for money!

Hotel very good. Restaurant for dinner seems to have changed, overpriced, very little in your plate and staff very slow. It was much better before when they did no try and fail to do " Nouvelle cuusine" . Breakfast is quite good, but for lunch and dinner went somewhere else.

Been to this hotel last weekend. a top hotel. Nice renovated rooms. We had reserved a culinary weekend. On arrival we were surprised with an extension of the room until 5 p.m. instead of 12 p.m. What a service. The food is top notch, tasteful and a cozy restaurant. Nothing is missing from breakfast either. This is a location that we will definitely go back to. Also nice and close to the Center and diagonally opposite the station.

Excellent. Booked 2 nights with 2 couples, incl. Boat trip. Friendly welcome at reception. Could already be in the room at 11 am. Dinner there 2x as well. Delicious dishes and tasty wines. Breakfast also arranged well. Rooms are tidy, beds may be slightly harder. Good shower. I slept on the street side, not bothered by the traffic. Toppie.

Nice hotel we slip into a room for four. However, there was only 1 window that could only be opened slightly. This made it very hot

Tidy and friendly staff. Room looked clean, tidy and tidy. Beds are good. Parking the car at the hotel costs a bit of money, but the car can be there the same day and the next day. You walk straight into the center. Only thing that was a shame, the shower did not constantly give hot water.

Hotel is good but you should not sit with your room on the side of the main road because then you have no sleep.

Attention! Attention! My daughter has had 3 days of training in Leiden.
I have booked a room for her at Golden Tulip Leiden.
Golden Tulip used my credit card to confirm the reservation.
The reservation was 486 euros.
When my daughter reported to the reception, she was asked to transfer 598.50 immediately.
My daughter paid this amount in good faith with my debit card, while the credit card cover was already "enforced".
After many fives and sixes, 60 euros was paid back in cash, because my bank number was unknown, yes, yes you read that right.
These are not ways, and not the way to deal with a credit card through Golden Tulip.

Great hotel within walking distance of the center. Indoors the Rubens restaurant, where you can eat well. Breakfast plenty of choice, only the coffee and juices are a bit disappointing. Nowadays we are spoiled in that area at home with our nespresso Enzo ...

A 4 star room built from drywall contruction did only leave me with sleepless nights. The space and otherwisevcomforts did not make up for why i would book a hotel in the firs place...a good nights rest away from home

booked a Christmas package, from 24 to 26 December. Enjoy the many wines and snacks in the lounge. Christmas dinner was good and pleasant, wine package included. The evening stands or falls with us if a good drink is served at the end of the evening, to conclude but unfortunately ............ we thought the last sip was still there, but that was "the drink".
