Pedal Play is great! I went by there today with a bicycle needing a new tube. Great service; Fellow came out to the car; took the wheel off the bike while it was on the rack; went in changed it; aired it up; put it back on. In and out very quickly. Support local homegrown businesses! and they have a wonderful friendly puppy dog. Woof Woof, Kona!

Brought my bike in for a check up after sitting for a couple of months. Was told it would be a around 2 weeks on repairs and was called a week and a half later and was told that my bike was ready. Fast and quality repairs. Also while I was in there I also purchased a bike rack for my truck. The bike rack was for a 1 and a 1/4 hitch receiver and I had a 2 inch receiver on my truck so I went to a couple of part stores looking for a reducer. Upon return empty handed Scott had my rack fully assembled. He had a reducer made for another rack but didn't fit mine. Scott took the time to custom fit the reducer to my rack and made it a perfect fit. If you have any and I mean any bike needs this is the bike shop for you friendly owner and plus there's Kona the shop dog.
The guy who owned it runs it. He is hardworking and he loves what he does. You walk in and he makes you feel like you are at home. He's the man.
Super fast and helpful responses via email, as well as turnaround on bike repairs. They took the time to not only explain to me how to improve bike and brake system break-in process, but also tips for future care. Reasonably priced neighborhood shop that is convenient and has later hours during the week, which is convenient for after work pickups. Say hello to Kona when you go (she's behind the counter and very friendly)!
I came here to buy a new bike because I was dissatisfied with mine but Scott, the owner, and man who is always in the store (along with another very friendly employee) sat down with me and discussed why I was unhappy. Together, we discovered that what I really needed was new tires and a handlebar adjustment. The problem was that I was not comfortable on my bike. This man could have easily sold me a new bike and made that money off of me but he did not. I love my bike now and I will recommend Pedal Play Bicycles to anyone who is looking for a bike shop.
I'm on a cross country bike tour and stopped by pedal play because I was having some shoulder issues. Scott made some fitting adjustments and since then my shoulder has felt fine. The bike shop is one of the best I've seen and is well stocked with good quality bikes and gear. The staff was friendly and helpful and its obvious that Scott knows what he's talking about. I definitley recommend Pedal Play for all of your biking needs!
Got a new Kona Kahuna from here and well exceeded my expectations. They have great service and are very knowledgable about what they are doing. The atmosphere is great right when you walk in the door. You will be very pleased with your service with them.
