Great place to stay while in "OLD" Vegas. Walkout onto the strip or stay and play in the casino, Pool is very cool with a water slide that slides through the shark tank, after walking Freemont St we sat in the hot tub and had a drink it was very nice. I'd definitely put this on a to do list if you want to stay on Freemont St. Room was clean and nice and no smoke smell in the room .

The pool is great though they really try and make money off of you. They advertise adult only pool but you have to pay just to sit up there. There's no coffee maker in room so you'll go to one of their Starbucks downstairs. My room had a view of a wall. Don't stay in room 1426. Buffet was average not worth the $52 it cost. My advice is stay is unless your staying in rush tower or spa tower to save your money and stay at The four queens where there is no resort feee or stay on the strip. We had a much nicer room at Mandalay bay for the same price and their pool is amazing!

Nothing beats the unique vibe of Downtown Vegas... and the Golden Nugget is right at the heart of it! Be sure to check out the great selection of tequilas at the Cadillac Bar inside this hotel.

Its in a great location on Fremont Street. Easily accessible and you can't miss it because the signs and lights outside easily light up the location. I personally went for the buffet so just ended up walking through the casino but the value for the buffet was great as the food was pretty tasty!

Golden Nugget Hotel is a wonderful place to be when you are staying downtown. If you're looking for a property with restaurants a beautiful pool that feels like a resort, this is the place to enjoy Vegas.
Then you step outside the door of the Golden Nugget and enjoy all the eclectic adventures of Fremont Street!

Beautiful pool and jacuzzi area love that it's on downtown perfect for walking and entertainment free. Clean rooms and lots of fun. Highly recommended for the older generation. Even my daughter age 22 loved it so much.

The Golden Nugget Las Vegas hotel and casino is a best place to have fun and entertainment. The casino in this hotel is best to my knowledge and I enjoyed pretty much playing here. The location of the hotel is good, if you need to access to other places in LA they aren't far away from this place. Overall service provided by the hotel was good and rooms are very elegant.

Visited friends staying at the hotel. Their room looked nice. Passed out on their couch after being out all night with them. Couch not very comfy. Hotel very busy, people everywhere. I think they liked their room.

This is a crown jewel for those who desire a good value for the money, clean and comfortable accommodations and access to some really fun stuff. Our experience from the size of the room, the furnishings, the cleanliness and friendly staff was textbook perfect. Yes its a well established hotel, but the care and upkeep of the property showed the pride of ownership the company has. This was our second stay in about as many years. I'd stay again and recommend this hotel to anybody.

Our room was upgraded to a Jr. Suite, was very clean and quiet. Marvelous view of the mountains surrounding Vegas. We are having a wonderful time exploring the restaurants in the downtown area. The steakhouse at the Nugget is only open on the weekends currently, which was a disappointment, but it allowed us to look more at the surrounding area, which had pleasant surprises. Andiamo's at the D was a real treat!

The room I booked and paid for months before was not what I got when I checked in. The room the did give me wasn't clean, but after 45 minutes and 2 calls to the front desk we were given a nice suit on the 25floor.still nothing like it was the first time I stayed there.

Loved it. The only exception was Claim Jumpers restaurant. While the service there was great the food could have been better. Both of the steaks I ordered were dry & overcooked. Otherwise, i will return here for more fun.

I attended a professional dinner at the Golden Nugget. The casino looked great and the atmosphere was inviting. The food was catered by the Golden Nugget as well. The service was top notch and the food was great. Overall, I'd visit again.

If you think the older casinos don't have anymore tricks up their sleeves think again, I truly enjoyed myself, fresh new ideas that fit the laid back vibe keeps it hoping all night long. Gotta be there..Fantastic

Good Vegas locale "off-the-strip". Loved the pool and water slide (but disappointed that closed half of it for a private party while we were there). Typical gambling scene. Didn't eat their so can't comment on the food, BUT lost every penny we gambled there ($10, hoping to hit it big baby!). Checked into our "non-smoking" room and it reeked like smoke, but the management kindly gave us a new room. Nice place overall...for Vegas.

We stayed here two nights in a regular room that is bigger then most other hotels. The service here was amazing from check in to check out.

The buffet for breakfast was well worth it. It had an omelet AND carving station along with a lot of great treats like lox and bagels.

The gaming is good too - the Pai Gow table is no commission. I got lost in the sea of slot machines.

Also a must see is the worlds largest golden nugget on display near the check in.

Absolutely loved my experience at the Golden Nugget! The upgrade to the Rush Tower was a fantastic decision. The room was luxurious and spotless. The spa was very relaxing and complimentary with the Rush Tower upgrade. The steam room and sauna provided the relaxation I needed for this vacation. I will definitely be back!

I was not impressed with my stay.

I was not impressed with my stay.
The pros: the bed was comfy. Room clean.
The cons: the machines did not pay out that much.
Only 1 bar open in the hotel, we sat there for about 5 minutes and no one came by. Mind you it was a Thursday night and was not busy.
Very few cocktail waitresses coming around.
4 food places open. Chik fil a, claim jumper, a grill and a Mexican food place. They had Starbucks that closed for the day around 10am.
Everywhere on Fremont Street including hotels and on the Strip smelled of weed.
My suggestion being your own alcohol and cups because it will get expensive real quick buying drinks there. On average 10 dollars a drink.
Binions Cafe has good breakfasts and Whiskey liquor up has really good food. And ask for a room away from Fremont because it's loud and we were on the 17th floor in the Rush tower.

Excellent gambling, low minimums, and attentive staff. I am not much of a gambler but for my money I really enjoyed being at the Nugget. Give them a try, they'll take great care of you!
