Wasn't a guest here. Just passed through and did some drinking/gambling. I played blackjack, so that's what my review has to offer. I played in several casinos during my stay but I'd have to say that the dealers here just seemed fed up. This is just my experience, but the staff at other facilities were far nicer and helpful.

Located in the heart of old town Las Vegas. This is a prime spot to people watch because it can be quite strange out there sometimes. It is the nicest Hotel in the old part of Las Vegas. Rush tower is my personal favorite here.

Location was perfect for Fremont Experience but elevators and housekeeping was another story. I had to call down to get someone to come service the room, when they were right across the hall when we left, and it took 4 hours to get someoneto show up. Elevators was like riding a theme park ride and getting stuck seemed like a norm. Pool was always packed with a line waiting to get in.

A good place to go away from the Vegas strip, it's in the older part of downtown and in the middle of Fremont Streets Experience. Good quality buffet are much cheaper here than on the strip. The room rate here in these downtown hotel is much less expensive than on the Vegas strip and especially during a major convention. The rate tend to skyrocket on the strip by 3x the normal rate during the CES convention as an example.

Bed was comfortable, I really liked the bathroom layout, secure elevators are appreciated...
My only complaint was that the promised water bottles were never delivered, but I didn't realize we were supposed to request them...

Gambling only...got lucky on the penny slots playing with $20. Casino had better complimentary waitress drink service than the big resorts on the strip. Had fun here for several hours, but Freemont St. turned into a wild zoo breakout after the sun went down.

This place was fantastic. But, tiring. I walked from one end if the strip to the other. There was so much to see and do. Entertainment from street players , vendors of various wares as well as concerts going on inside of clubs in the casinos. Plenty of table action, and store's galore. Multiple eaterys, and the over-head sky rides, it was a blasts.

Checked in, they gave us a DNR room so 3 hours later we moved to another room , it smelled of smoke. Housekeeping supposedly fixed it following day....not!!Complained again, to no avail. Won't be staying there again, even though I used to love this place, we got a 4 day raw deal...

Went down Fremont street and found the Golden Nugget. It was lit up beautifully. We went inside and played for a bit. It was nice and clean. Going down Fremont was a bit crazy though. I had a hard time finding a waitress for drinks. The bathrooms were really nice as well.

Rush Tower is nice and quiet. But the separate check in is never open. The clerk said that the water in the room was free. Maybe he meant tap water because there was no bottled water in the room. $20 room service coffee is ridiculous. $36/day resort fee is unconscionable. $15 for a glass of wine at Grotto. Even though I was on an expense account I couldn't bring myself to pay some of their ridiculous prices.

This hotel is our favorite downtown, rooms and bathrooms updated, clean, really nice. Stay here 2 times a year or more. Always fun to walk the covered downtown area and see the sights as well as light show and ziplines right outside the front door! Numerous restaurants just steps away.

Great staff, good range of tables. Awesome location. Room was incredible. Only thing I could complain about was on the first night we asked for a cot and never got one even when we asked a second time.

We had a very comfortable room here, everything was clean and fresh for us. The pool was really cool, it has a giant saltwater aquarium in the middle and a waterslide that goes down from the third level deck through the aquarium. Access to Fremont Street was really convenient too-right out the side door!

We attended the Fremont street experience and made a quick stop through the golden nugget for drinks. Clean, organized and beautiful hotel it turned out to be. I'll visit again in the future.

Reserved a king bed with roll out. Arrived and they said they only had double bed rooms left. Making a reservation they claimed only reserves you a room and not your choice of bed. I wish the button holes would have said that when I called and made my reservation to ensure we could get a roll it bed. Guy at check in wouldn't help with anything. I do not recommend staying here if you want a king bed. Rooms are average budget hotel. Pool area is neat. Something is wrong with the tap water, everytime we turned it in the whole room stunk.

Stayed in the Rush tower and absolutely loved our room. Wonderful place and vibe. HUGE room. Lots of great little extras like toothpaste and travel toothbrushes, which was SO helpful since I had forgotten mine. Check in was quick and the you d man at the desk was extremely pleasant and fun to talk to. Will definitely stay here again.

If you want a taste of Old Las Vegas this is the casino to check out. Just like in many of the movies is on Fremont Street near the Neon Cowboy. If if you visit during the day Fremont Isn't So glitzy but nighttime everything turns on. The casino is open and you can feel welcome as you walk by. Unlike the casinos on the Strip is not flashy but the slot machines are there to draw you in. If you are into poker you will recognize these tables you probably seen them plenty of time on TV. If you don't like walking you don't need to here. Old Las Vegas at its finest.

If you end up checking in late because of your airline flight, you'll probably get a smoking room! Which is pretty gross if you're a non-smoker. They promise they'll change your room the next day, but you still have to deal with it for a night. Accommodations were decent; had a little sofa & ottoman in the room. On top of the daily rate fees, they charge a "resort fee" plus tax which ends up adding over $30 to your bill a night & gets you 2 bottles of water. Does NOT include coffee in the room, even thou there's a machine but you can, however, buy 4 Keurig coffee pods for $15. Cool fish tanks by the pool and behind one of the bars. Small taco/tequila place in the building made really good tacos. Frozen margaritas were delish. The location was ideal. You walk right outside and you're on Fremont Street which was very interesting, especially at night! You're very close to many restaurants, it's down the street from the Mob Museum, which is pretty cool. It's right across the street from tixs4tonight at the Four Queens - which is where we bought the tickets for the mob museum & the Rolling Stones exhibition, which was GREAT! Close to everything you'd need.

The Golden Nugget doesn't care about it's hotel guests. They resolutly refuse to strike a deal with the concert venue next door to lower their volume by 20 or so percent. The sound shakes our hotel room! They claim they don't have the power to make them do anything. Oh, but here have some earplugs.
This proves we care about your health and well being.
ABSOLUTE COP-OUT! THE HELL YOU DON'T!
You have the power to do something about it but why bother. Your guests comfort means less than nothing.

Loved it
