I am conflicted, on one hand the rooms did not have microwaves, fridges, working AV hookups on the TVs even though they had them (everything was hardwired so the TV only accepted stuff from the main hub, never seen that before, so bringing the Gamecube on the plane was a waste of space), or free Wi-Fi and breakfast, all of which can be found at a Super 8 or Motel 6, and no coolers allowed either. On the other hand customer service was fantastic, when we tried to get the AV hookups on the TV working they sent up a technician quickly, when we needed a sewing kit they brought up two in neat little packages within 5 minutes. And if your main goal on the casino floor is to play Blackjack be warned, a lot of the rules have been tweaked in a way that are very difficult to overcome such as mandatory side bets that never pay off and the payouts are lower, a 50/50 game it is not.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Nugget. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the shower had awesome water pressure (Bonus!). We had a great view of the strip and the downtown location was awesome. Best value in Las Vegas for sure. We'll definitely be back!

The service was horrible waited more than 7 hours and still not able to go in pool. Only allowed 2 waters per day with multiple people in room. Service was also horrible. False advertising as well. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Was there for 3 nights. Machines are not paying. But it is a good place to gamble.

Very nice place to stay at, only thing missing in the rooms is a small fridge to keep essential items in, like medication that needs to be refrigerated, milk or a cold beer. Hotel is geared to have to buy meals every day. Not even a coffee pot. Something that was standard in all the hotels I stayed at. Really liked the H2O pool and bar

Very nice hotel in downtown Vegas on Fremont Street. Lots of slots and tables. Centrally located to all Fremont casinos.
Absolute best pool and water slide in Vegas! You can swim with all the big fish and a few sharks for free!

This was our second time staying at the Golden Nugget and we really enjoyed ourselves. If you have the option, don't stay in the Rush tower. They upgraded us to this tower. Don't get me wrong it was a very nice room but the noise never stopped. This tower is closest to Fremont Street, loud loud loud! Make sure to visit when you can spend some time at the pool and if you're over 21 head to the Hideaway bar and pool. You won't regret it. Have even more time to spare? Head on up to the Spa! I was able to use a Groupon and it was worth every penny! Looking for food in the hotel our favorites are the Grotto and Cantina's! If you're visiting during the week take advantage of the happy hour deals!!

I was in room 1075. Despite setting the AC to 60 degrees the room temp never got below 80 degrees. Too hot for me. WiFi wasn't spotty in the room making it difficult to work. Restaurants are good but over priced. They do not follow the neighborhood casinos when it comes to restaurant pricing. Go eat a good meal at the Four Queens next door, it's cheap and good.
Good is it is quiet, so it was peaceful sweltering in the heat of the room. Elevators are fast. Pool is nice if you get a chair before 8am.
I will stay somewhere else if I go back

Conveniently located on Fremont street towards the western end of the Fremont Experience. Clean property with friendly and helpful staff. Temperatures were in the high 40's to low 50's when we were here, but we ventured the pool anyway. The water slide was short but fun, and the hot tub was nice and warm! Decent restaurant options, though there are plenty nearby if you're are looking for something they don't have. Reasonable prices tables if you are into affordable gambling options (i.e. $3-5), though that was mid week. We stayed with a group rate, so I dont know about resort fees which are becoming an issue for me and Vegas.

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were very dark...almost on the dreary side. Vibrant abstract art on the walls, I guess to off set the darkness of the cabinetry and headboard. The bathroom was poor lit also. Stayed in the Rush Tower overlooking flat graffiti filled cement roof tops. Also the hotel is pretty center to Fremont street, where there was loud music, BOOMING music! From like 9pm until 3am. Earplugs were provided (which did not help) by the hotel themselves. 2 pair on the nightstand! Way overpriced restaurants, the pool was overun, limited seating, $400 cabanas to rent for the day or could go up the H20 21 + pool and pay $45 a day for a lounger. On top of ALL that, hotel charges a $27.31 RESORT fee! Daily! That fee intitles you to park FREE at their hotel, 2 bottles of water delivered daily to your room, the daily newspaper available upon request AND 5mb complementary Wi-Fi for 2 devices. Would not stay there again.

Another historic property. It's well maintained and beautiful. We spent a full day here she had a fantastic time. I would absolutely recommend this place for a little slice of old school vegas.

Golden Nugget has been my choice to stay every time that I visit Vegas. Because if you ever get tired of walking on the strip and you want party, food & Fun with a live band and other activity right outside your hotel then THIS IS IT!! If your trying to get peace & quiet then do not stay here. the price go up every time that I go and it does not have a fridge, Staff is friendly, clean, convenient, but other than that I always have a great time. I always get the Rush Tower Suite. I hope the images help you guys make your decision!

Really upset with my experience. Went here to play some slots before we had to leave for our flight. Put $20 into a machine and pulled the lever. The screen went black and said the wheel was out of tilt. Waited over 20 min for an attendant to come over, and when he finally came he had to reset the game. At this point we've waited long enough and just want our money back so we can catch our flight. Not only does he hit bet and plays another game by accident; he has to nerve to argue with my boyfriend and I about whether or not we played two games and why should we get the full $20 back. The game never played in the first place and the second game was his mistake. We even told them to check the cameras. Needless to say the situation was poorly handled and we said forget it and left without our $20. I know that money was probably going to be a loss anyways but it would have been on our own terms. Our vegas experience was already terrible and this was the cherry on top.

Not as great as I had hoped for! Seems like they could have used the months they were closed for Covid-19 to perform maintenance, like caulking the tub? It was cracked and old, rust was visible in the tub. Felt like a Motel 6 tub. This was in the Gold tower. I have always wanted to stay here, I will stay again, but room was disappointing. Pool was spectacular. CJ and Cadillac restaurant food was excellent. Others were still closed.

Great place to enjoy yourself! All of the people who work there could not have treated us any better. Rooms were perfect, food was excellant. Downtown location could be the best.

We used to stay here all the time but they have raised their room rates plus added a resort fee....really??? We don't use their 'so called' resort amenities. Last time we stayed at a 'real resort' they issued you a card to enter the pool, spa etc area's if you wanted to use their amenities. If you didn't want to use them then you did not have to pay the resort fee. That is the only fair way to do it. Then, by the time tax and other fee's are added the price of the room doubles. Keep your room, I'll go to Laughlin.

If you are downtown, the nugget is where it is at! Amazing pool, clean rooms really top notch!

As for the gaming, one of the only casinos on Fremont (if not the only) to have poker tables! Of course they have black jack, roulette, craps (most of the time starting at 5 dollars) but you can play Hold'em too! Well done. With poker tables like Texas and Omaha holdem being so popular, nice to have a casino on Fremont street that has it.

If you are in Vegas, (downtown or not), the golden nugget is a must stop! I always do.

I was only there for the hotel, not the casino, etc. The room was beautiful, the bathroom spacious, and the bed super-cozy. Docked one star for limited electric outlets, crummy cable selection, and limited WiFi.

Golden Nugget is classic Downtown Vegas. The refurbished rooms are pretty decent and bathrooms are standard. The corner Junior Suite has a dedicated seating area. Staff was on par with any other property. The favorite place when staying downtown.

I stopped by the Golden Nugget for gambling and drinks and it's one of my favorite hotel casinos on Freemont. It's lavish inside and has a great selection of restaurants and bars. I've stayed there a few times and the rooms were large and very comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Crowded and busy. They have tour groups running through constantly so you never know when all the elevators will be taken. Check in took a long time and there always seems to be a line at the front desk. Other downtown hotels are friendlier and cheaper, if go elsewhere, instead.
