Simply impressive. 4 Star rooms, very budget friendly, and just a fantastic stay.

One of the best rooms I've ever had for 2 couples, very roomy.

The Golden Nugget is perfectly and centrally located on Fremont Street. I just passed through and used the restroom, but the atmosphere is fun and clean. Restrooms were very clean.

Nice casino, great restaurants. The pool is cool, there is a shark tank in the middle and a water slide that goes through the middle of it.

Nice hotel with a lot of restaurants to choose from. Swimming pool, hot tubs and pool slide through the aquarium definitely makes this hotel unique. A little on the pricey side but it's one of the nicer hotels in the downtown area.

We had a good time. The room was clean. While in the room, I saw the message light on so I played it. It was offering us starting ar 29.99 another night. When I asked about it, I was told that 1200 people were checking in the next day. Which was okay, but I think that we should have been offered to get the night at another time. Also, they advertised a 15.00 lunch for two items at the Grotto restaurant. When we went there, we were told that it was over. It was only 2:15 pm. What are the lunch hours? We were told that we could get a 10.00 pizza. I just think that customer service should be number 1. But for us, it wasn't. There are many places that we could have stayed at. If you want a great hotel. My advice is that you try the SLS.

Its really nice.. I like going there in the summer cause of the slide that goes through the Shark Tank

The Wi-Fi is pretty bad every time you turn around it logs off and then you have to enter your email again and again and again. The smell of smoke cans to permeate even the non-smoking floors. Could partially be people smoking weed in the room. The showerhead had a red mold growing on it and even after telling them this was an issue they didn t clean it I don t think they have that down very well. The drain to the tub didn t work and they got right on fixing that.

Hard to be negative since I won 1720.00 on a penny slot, but it was lively and fun.

During my last visit the hotel was very overcrowded. It took over 30 minutes to go up or down the elevator. I left the hotel early because it was not fun or relaxing dealing with all those people. I probably will never return.

This hotel and casino is located in close vicinity to other casinos and other restaurants. The casino is nice. Won a little extra money. The food was fantastic.

Great place. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's got the old Vegas feel, I love it. The pool is amazing. I can't really think of a complaint

On the heart of old Vegas, this hotel is small but pleasant. Staff were very helpful and show venue was quaint

What a great Hotel to stay at and be next to the famous "Fremont Street" This Hotel has a pool that you can waterside down through a tube of fish and Live Sharks!

Beautiful scenery, and great staff in all the areas of the hotel and casino.

Went to enjoy three casino during our trip to Vegas, did not stay overnight. Casino was great, great ventilation for the smoke to not be overwhelming.

Really nice pool area. The aquarium was really relaxing and has a waterslide that goes through it. They have seats actually in the pool which were really comfortable. The nighttime atmosphere was awesome. Friendly staff from what I encountered. The drinks weren't exactly the cheapest though. I would recommend swinging by to check it out.

It gets a 5 purely for nostalgia reasons. If your looking for. Great spot to sit-down and people watch off of Fremont Street this is the place to do it. Been coming here since I was a child, and it does show it's age.

The Golden Nugget had really good slot machines. Will definitely go again...

Very big hotel! Have 5 restaurants and Starbucks and is very nice. Have a big casino and pool. The rooms are beautifull in the new building. Is in the downtown very close to the Fremont walk.

I Finally saw the Famous Golden Nugget from Australia and boy, i was astonished.

Had a great time, employees are fantastic & courteous. The buffet had fantastic food with plenty of choices. I had a health episode and security was prompt and very nice about bringing me a wheelchair & taking me out to the car at valet.

Great Casino, Friendly Dealers, NFR Experience awesome. Several Restaurants with spot on food.

Did not get a room here. Only visited for the LED event. Very spectacular. The gambling area was nice though.

A man offered me his glass eye for my bootleg copy of Three Men and a Baby. Wild. Slots machines were good.

This guy was creeping on everyone that was winning... He would sit there and watch. Watch out for people like him!!!!!

Appreciate them sanitizing the counter for every new guest that checks in. Clean was tidy. We didnt have a fridge where it was supposed to be. Not sure if they took it out due to covid 19. The swimming pool was top notch. My kids enjoyed watching the aquarium and checking those gigantic fish. Breakfast was great. Casinos no bueno because I didnt win. But overall it was a fun experience. Oh the only negative would be like it was very busy on a Saturday checking in and they only had 2 front desk employee so we waited for like 40 min to be checked in.

Exceeded expectation in every way. For an off-strip property it had great amenities. Only thing that felt old was the TV in our room (no HDMI?!) Amazing pool.

Absolutely the best way to enjoy Vegas. Great staff, food, pools and everything you need! The rooms are comfortable and the housekeeping services was outstanding. I am ready to plan my next stay at the Nugget!

The girls in there are hot, the music is good, the games are also good and cheap. I didn't rate 5 stars cause they really should do something to get rid of the strong cigarette smell

Great place in downtown old historical location. Casino, pools, hot tubs, rooms, restaurants, banquet halls, fish tank, and much more.

Saw the Clint Holmes show and he is absolutely amazing!!! He and his band are so talented. If you love live music and exceptional entertainment, you must see this show. Thanks for a wonderful, uplifting, and fun evening!

Fantastic hotel and accommodations! You can't beat Fremont street! Poolside couples massage, fabulous casino- the live music was amazing! I can't say enough about the food and knowledgeable staff! We will be back for sure!!

I loved the swimming pool area.
The slide, the live fish, the sharks and the setting area.
We got a room on the 5th floor. It was clean and smelled good.

All in all it was a good place to stay. Just wish Expedia would have done their job right. Stood at checking for 45 mins trying to find out reservations, thankfully the front desk knew what to do and how to find us. Staff is super friendly and try to accommodate everyone that comes in.

What can I say, it's a hotel, it's a casino. It was part of our Fremont experience and a good place to visit.

I like the casinos downtown like Golden Nugget in general, better than staying on the Strip. This one is a bit older but we'll kept up. I like their dealers better than many I've visited. I liked the giant aquarium by the pool but the pool area was really crowded and I think it does guests a disservice that they allow anyone to pay a fee and get in. I was also annoyed that we were denied access to the rooftop pool/bar area by some kid that looked like a teenager because we didn't have ID. I mean really, if you can't tell I'm over 21 by my hairline, then the grey should give it away.

Experience Freemont street! You will not regret going! If your're into magic go to the "container park" about 4 blocks away from Freemont street and look for a little shop that sells items. You'll see a giant praying mantis on the street corner. The mantis comes alive at night !

The rooms were nice and the service was good. The restaurants in the hotel are good as well.

Went here to see Ronnie Millsap. It was my first time at Golden Nugget Showroom.

Last time I was there was before their Renovations.

I was impressed by the staff, the decor, all around a great night.

I can't wait to go try some of the restaurants.

So, this place isnt bad. They are one of the original hotels that have been in downtown Las Vegas forever. They certainly have fair prices on rooms and fun. They are also conveniently located on Fremont, entrances under the experience too! It is nice to see a long lasting casino in Vegas where so many have either failed, been bought out and blown up, or just changed all around and renamed. So I highly recommend supporting them and staying there if you want a better price on a room and to still have a typical Vegas experience.

Family went after day of swimming at rec center. Everyone enjoyed their food.

A group of business colleagues meet every Tuesday for lunch at the lunch buffet at the casino. The staff is always friendly and the service is very good. The selection of food is always freshly made and very tasty. Our party today totalled fifteen, and we all had a good time.

Very nice place to stay in but I recommend adults only.

The room would be perfect it provided a small coffee pot. The resort fee of $200.00 is absolutely ridiculous for us as we do not use the gym or other amenities related to the resort fees. This should be an option.

Still one of the Great Classic Las Vegas Casino Hotels. Reasonable rate, great rooms and one of the only places to stay if you want to avoid the Strip and stay downtown for the fun. You can always take the bus to the strip. Great Food.

I live this hotel and old Las vegas. Its big with alot dinner options.

Nice staff and the slot machine keep me going for over 5 hours with only spending $50.00. I had a lot of fun

Great place to stay if you wanna stay off the strip and/or if you have an event downtown. Always dependable, great service. Not a ton of amenities if you go for the basics tho.

Food was great until a few hours later everyone with me had stomach issues. Paid too much to be stuck on the toilet.

Was really surprised how nice this hotel is. Very clean and all the staff very friendly. Right on Fremont Steet Experience. Be sure to check out band Rock This Town at Rush Lounge. Amazing musicians who take requests and pit on a killer show.

Awesome scene on Freemont. Old school area with awesome vibes. Pull up a lawn chair, grab a bucket of popcorn, and enjoy the ride.

We went in early morning around 7 or 8 a.m. it wasn't very busy a lot of older ppl (50+yrs). We had to spend a certain dollar amount( i think 10$)before they would comp us a drink and my Shirley Temple sucked! But anyways it was alright didnt really leave a lasting impression but it was alright
