Excellent restaurant and tasty food, staff super *****
Had a lovely tuesday evening meal here, food were just right portions for us and great taste and arrangement, staff were attentive and pleasant, I recommend here
If you are expecting this to be a classy establishment you will not be disappointed. It's a magnificent building on Whitehall with river views on one side. Charing Cross railway station and The Embankment underground are a minute away. Trafalgar Square, with the National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery and the theatre district are five minutes away,
Good old fashioned rooms with all amenities, including a/c and free wi-fi. Very good English style breakfasts, excellent staff. Nice lounge and terrace on ground floor.
Very luxury hotel overlooking the eye of London and very close to the famous Big Bein
Absolutely incredible experience. Such high standards and have never met such friendly staff. Thank you so much.
We went their for a special event. The staff were courteous and pleasant, the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Friendly staff, beautifully furnished rooms and wonderful location made this an enjoyable stay. Would definitely highly recommend.
Great food, comfortable rooms, clean and nice atmosphere
Top class venue in the heart of London.Highly recommended.
Amazed with the number of halls they havw for private events and was please with the food and wine
Went on a course there so used the conference facility of this hotel. AMAZING. I should have come the night before and stayed there! Such central location and staff were very welcoming. Decor of the hotel is something else. Truly a magnificent place.
This review is related to the restaurant itself as I've recently had the chance to dine there.
The location/setting of the restaurant itself looks and feels like an oasis to chillout during sunny hot days.
Amazing customer service on behalf of the F&B Team members, Alexandra and her male colleague (which name I forgot, sorry:)) ; best balance of both professionalism and friendliness.
Amazing hotel right down on the river within walking distance of many sights or taxis right outside to take you to your destination!
This hotel was very good. My child and I were satisfied with everything. We are Iranians. It was great. The staff and the location of this hotel were great and the food was good. Thank you.
The hotel is amazing, very fancy, polite and helpful staffs. The breakfast is magnificent.
Though costly for viewing New year fire works suitable for stay
This hotel is welcoming, with an entrance hall made of warm lights that do great in the winter. The breakfast offers a wide choice of products as good as the others, but the restaurant is really small. As a result, queues often form in the morning, with groups waiting to have breakfast.
The menu is quite limited for lunch. But the rooms are beautiful, with a large bed, a television embedded in the wall, and a sound system that offers the ability to connect his iPod and listen to his music, even in his bath. A heated floor bath (which is really great in winter), and has a TV screen embedded in the wall, at the end of the bath. We can take a bath while watching television. By cons the rooms overlooking the backyard are not at all great.
Amazing place for a afternoon tea, brilliant staff, thank you.
This is a location of Harry Potter's filming location
I love it, even it's old and small, but it's ok for a business trip
I stayed at the UK for a week or so, but I stayed and thought it was a very good hotel. The atmosphere was quite good.
The last time we were here was during our family trip! We super adore your interior design and room arrangement. Booking is also hassle free and your staffs are welcoming and responsive with every questions that I asked. Good service!
Only tried the afternoon tea, but that is already a superb experience with delicious scones, a very perfect clotted cream and excellect jam.
The service of the personnel is outstanding, very friendly and helpful.
Expensive but worth it. Close to Big Ben, Parliament, Covent Gardens and the National Gallery.
Stayed here recently for a conference. Excellent accommodations, very friendly staff, the guests come first. The building itself is absolutely beautiful. Great food, easy access to landmarks, the tube, Westminster, Soho, Piccadilly, great time!
A truly 5 star hotel in the center of London. From the time we entered the hotel, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable occasion. The room we stayed is was bright and airy with modern fixtures and fittings.
As with most well run establishments, covid cleansing was a continuous operation.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Amazing staff, gorgeous rooms, and great proximity to London's finest tourist spots.
We are from the USA and are here for four nights. The place is very nice and the staff is friendly, professional and ready to help. I would come back again for sure. Also it's in a perfect central location. Starbucks close by A+ lol.
Great location, minutes from Trafalgar Square, close to The embankment.
A great location. Rooms well appointed. Bar service was good. High tea worth making a reservation for that. Has a very strange eastern European staffing policy so don't expect English to be first language. Always ask for a room with a London Eye view.
Excellent stay ... we will return ... perfect location to visit London ... everything on foot ... I recommend this hotel ...
We arrived in that hotel 2 days ago , they have no free valet parking, it cost 120 pound per day. We had to park our car in a parking 10 min away for 40 pounds a day .We were supposed to have a city view room , they gave us the most horrible room I have ever seen in my life , view on the AC of the hotel , noisy, old, not isolated, and poorly cleaned, the room was not what we requested we had not a bed for 2 person but 2 single beds put together , on top of that, their staff are arrogants they judged us thinking we were cheap peoples , because we were wearing jump suits as we were just landed from Dubai (honestly who wants to travel in a suit) ,not very observant peoples they didn't even notice my Audemars Piguet at my wrist worth 20.000 Gpb, and like it wasn't enough , for our first breakfast we have been double checked like if we were trying to sneak in, not a smile , not a "thank you for staying with us" we felt really offended and disrespected . Its is a shame. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone because the average quality of service is bad, they are disrespectful in their manners, giving attitudes when we were just wearing simple and modest outfits, and not our 5000 usd suits. We are leaving today and will never come back to this place. To be said we have been really respectful towards them even when they disrespected us . I really wanted to punch that breakfast dutty manager who checked and re checked us like we were really not belonging here. Maybe I should have parked my G63 AMG onto his face to get some "welcoming" .
Hands down, one of the best hotel experiences I've had in ages! Location A+. Service A+. Breakfast A+. Can't wait to visit again at Christmas!
Enjoyed my stay at Royal Horse guards hotel for my 60th birthday. Thank you for the upgrade to a river view room.
Had a lovely afternoon tea here. The staff were wonderful and the food was exquisite. The atmosphere was very relaxed and royal. The fire in the reception is beautiful. Will be returning again.
Open all hours, incredibly expensive, little riff raff...
Interesting hotel with a history - no staircases when it was MI5.
Pleasant hotel, but rooms within the inner core do suffer from noise caused by HVAC. Staff very polite and well trained.
Great experience I would recommend I was absolutely great
It is a beautiful hotel and the staff very attentive and friendly
Fantastic afternoon tea. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff
Very well kept hotel in an ideal surroundings on the banks of the river Thames. Close to sights such as Trafalgar Square, The Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. The hotel staff are courteous and always helpful and the food is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to visitors even though it's not cheap.
Relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff and lovely food. Would thoroughly recommend.
Gorgeous rooms, right near the stuff you go to London for.
Just beautiful. Terrible service in the cocktail bar but great everywhere else.
Very "royal" style restaurant. Food is very tasty and staff very attentive.
Booked in January 2, 2020 and left Jan 6, 2020. Not a memorable experience for the following reasons --
1 check in suppose to be 3pm our room was not ready until 4pm
2 doona cover had ripped section
3 Housekeeping was not attentive
4 tried to contact house keeping - message showed on phn nbr invalid
5 tried calling reception - continually engaged
6 had to go down to reception to request attendance as toilet rolls were not replace
7 Had attended breakfast for 3 mornings and was served by the same same staff at the desk for seating. On our last morning the staff member asked if this was our first time!
8 When checking out - charges on the bill had items that we had not incurred.
Based on the above the tariff charged was excessive.
Perfection ! Reception, room, services, cleanliness.
Really displeased with my stay, their guests are loud and obnoxious, loud parties can be heard throughout the night. Quite the opposite of the experience I recieved staying at the Corinthia just across the road!
Whenever I got business trips, I always look forward to staying at The Royal Horseguards. I love everything in this hotel, from the staffs, to rooms, services, location and other amenities. They know how to treat a person and make him/her feel at home.
Great staff. Great location. Very clean. However, the beds are so small, old and bumpy. Neither my wife nor I were able to sleep even decently because the bed was so small and bumpy. We both wind up with bad back pain from the bed being so old and lumpy. For the price you pay, the least they could do is make sure the beds are adequate. We have stayed in better hotels in Europe by far.
We had a fantastic stay here. Everyone was very friendly. Rooms where very nice. Bed was comfortable and warm. And the breakfast buffet was very nice. We will stay here again next time we are in London.
Visited the hotel in the Summer. Nice room, friendly staff and close to central London.
Excellent service, went above and beyond to help us resolve an issue that had nothing to do with their service. Definitely a customer for life.
Had wonderful celebration afternoon tea in comfortable surroundings and just the right amount of attention
Lovely hotel with beautiful views of the London Eye and the Thames. Room had a great view of the London Eye and was perfectly clean and well decorated. TV in the bathroom was a nice touch.
Staff very friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful and the functions rooms are large and impressive.
This is the best. Location spot on. Staff so helpful and friendly. With great offers and deals.
My stupid so called "smart phone" posted a 2 (two) star review, when I was trying to give the hotel FIVE stars
Iain W Dobson apologises, on behalf of Vodafone!
Lovely staff, great with our baby. Room clean and nice complimentry items like free soft drinks in mini bar, teddy for a baby, nice spa shampoo. Good location near main tourist sites.
Very nice home ! Magnificent view from our room which overlooked the park. Hotel very well located for walking or underground in London.
Great Hotel Very friendly staff Ideally situated Spacious rooms Highly reccomended will visit again in future !!
The view from my room is awesome, the location is good, and the mini bar is free :)
Delicious afternoon tea in a lovely comfy hotel. Service staff were wonderful, and food lovely. The horse guards tea was the best I have ever tasted. Can I buy it anywhere?
Such a neat place to stay while visiting in London!
