It's alright. Just your typical big flat park. Usually used as a venue for festivals, so the public gets treated like terrorists, and get searched going in.

Got a bottle of water taken off me going in, once, because they couldn't be sure if i had water, or potentially harmful substances. Even when i showed them i was drinking it. So security took my water from me, on a hot summer's day, because there was a bagpipe festival going on. Wonderful

Good

Great hockey facilities. Cold viewing area - take a warm thing even in summer. Cafe is intermittently open. Sometimes long queues. Sometimes out of milk. Sometimes shut completely. Shame.

Great park in Glasgow for walking , cycling, skating and scooters. Lots of flat smooth paths with nice river walk and historical monuments . Great children's park and peoples palace worth a visit where you can grab coffee and cake

Visited Glasgow Green for lunch at the WEST Brewery and Restaurant which is located in the Templeton Building. This building is a replica of the Doge's Palace in Venice.
Nearby are the People's Palace, the Doulton Fountain and the River Clyde

Otherwise good city centre park spoiled by cyclist takeover, no longer pedestrian friendly. Good childrens play area and People's Palace. Clyde river visible but not particularly accessible.Main grassed area in desperate condition, probably due to festival use.

If it's a nice day it's a great place to take a walk; inside there is a museum with a winter garden, a fountain celebrating Queen Victoria, a monument to Nelson and a small arch of triumph.

This park is so dog friendly and one of the most beautiful parks in Glasgow YET AGAIN Glasgow city council have neglected another building of great heritage they are only too keen to confront others who have neglected other buildings but they always have double standards and of course it is always easy to spend COUNCIL TAXpayers money maybe if they had to earn the cash like the self employed this would be different I AM DISAPPOINTED

Beautiful park and interresting site on the history of Glasgow. Too bad the greenhouse was closed. The fountain represents the different continents on which there are the old English colonies.

Glasgow green is fantastic. Great for a run or a stroll through. Great play park for the kids and peoples palace never stops being one of my favourite places to go. Ok the cafe isnt great and ok the exhibits haven't changed in years but i will still happily spend all day there. And if you haven't ever been before you will definitely get lost inside and find loads to look at and read about.

If like me you are a keen doggy walker this is paradise- lots of open space for your four legged friends, good transport links and the West Brewery on tap for refreshments for you and doggy after your walk.
