Dazzling, unlikely , sunshine for my recent visit! But if it's not there it's still lovely to stroll by the river, or duck in to the People's Palace for a warm up in the historic glass house amongst the tropical plants.

Nice Glasgow park, lots to see and good for walking

Great place to be, they hold a lot of events here, today was a 5k and a 10k well done to all the runners out in the pouring rain

Great place its a great place to have picnics barbuces ect and theres a dog park and a sandy park for children!

It's a big green place in the middle of Glasgow, hence the name " Glasgow Green".
Sometimes if you are lucky, you might even smell green....

Watched the men's cycling time trails in the European games.
Cool.

Historic and iconic. Lovely park to sit and relax in.

The park is nice to go for a walk. People's palace is not the greatest, we walked in and walked out. However the monuments around the park are really neat.

Nice wee day out but a variety of bouncy castles would of been better..all did the same

Great place and a lot of Glasgow history to see. Kids 15 and 10 loved it. And it's only a donation at the end. Great for a picnic just outside if the sun's out.

Great for kids and family. Jogging , excercise, outdoor sports

A very active park with many events on during the year, great for walking the dog and exercising.

Absolutely brilliant place to take the kids. Has the best of both worlds. ....... Loads of noise at the play park but you can also go for a quiet walk through the green and along the clyde side

Art and nature .. ..botanical museum not visited because we arrived at closing time

Beautiful Park with very open spaces great for dog walking , there's a Glass building in the park open to the public with a cafe and all exotic plants in it , enjoy !

Wide open space, great place to walk dogs and to take the kids.

You haven't been to Glasgow, if you haven't been to the green. An iconic location in a city filled with history.

The museum is well worth a visit. Looks at living in Glasgow in the past.

Very nice. Visited for the Glasgow fireworks that lasted 20 minutes

Loads of walking and cycle path. 2 massive play parks for children. Lots of lovely sights and good links to town and surrounding areas

Brilliant, went for a wedding reception, staff and venue could not have been better.

Pretty park with a free museum and botanical gardens. There was a cool Terra Cotta fountain in front of the people's palace. The botanical gardens we're a nice place to warm up.

Just a fantastic spot. Transmit was good and the last night at the proms was fantastic.

No matter where you live in Scotland at one time or another you will most likely visit Glasgow green, in the heart of Glasgow, it hosts concerts, festivals, fun runs , cycling events, fire work displays, it has a large play park for the wee kids and the big kids, there is always something going on at the park, not to mention all the clubs that use it, the list goes on and on, hopefully you get the chance to use it yourself soon

Beautiful architecture and a great experience. Old Glasgow exhibition. worth the visit. Free entry.

Great visit about Glasgows heritage in the Victorian era. The fountain outside alone is worth a visit.

Easy to get too only a short walk from the train stations.
Holds a wide range of events and concerts that are worth going to see.

Smashing place to spend some time not far from a busy city centre. Good for visitors and locals.

People's Palace is great, with a lift it is accessible for everyone to see

The tall slides are quite good. Not very slippery but good fun. Also a bike track. Great outdoor space

My other half has a family member who received a VC and his memorial is there. Beautiful surroundings

Beautiful park. Extremely manicured and not enough wilderness to attract birds or other wildlife. Brilliant for a walk or for kids to play in. Would have loved it more if there was more wildlife. The river side was dirty too and needs to be cleaned.
