Great Park always fun for Harry also good for a walk around the grounds
Glasgow Green is a must visit park in Glasgow, its greenery extends for a great size towards the east edge of the city centre. It's wide and spacious, lovely in the sun. The People's Palace, the fountain and the Templeton building are beautiful sightings to visit if you're walking around the park.
Great, clean, tidy, spacious, lots of greenery, children's playground with 'pirate ship', you can rent wheeled cars.
Fantastic green and amazing park and of course the outstanding people's palace
Beautiful place. A giant play area for kids as well.
Lovely park for events. People's Palace a piece of Glasgow's history. Amazing place. Park fab. Nice kid's play area too.
Extensive green space close to city centre. Leads down to lovely part of River Clyde where rowing clubs practice. Home to People's Palace and Winter Gardens. Adjacent to magnificent Templeton's building that houses a brewery (West)
Big and calm Park, room to either play with your dogs or football with your mates, but could use some sort of ice cream shop or coffee somewhere in the middle other than the peoples palace.
Nice park with extensive green areas and the Glasgow People's Museum.
Fantastic facility with two synthetic water courses of the first category with a main field (Pitch 1) with covered grandstands, bar, TV area, press area, bar, facilities and a second adjacent field (Pitch 2). Lots of locker rooms to accommodate more teams, two locker rooms for the Referees, reception area and everything you need for a location that hosts international events. Congratulations to the Scottish HOCKEY Federation.
Great place for a festival loving it. Lovely place. Nicely compacted festival only bad thing was no phone signal in the event.
Pleasant park near the east of Glasgow City centre, and if it's wet (never rains in Glasgow ), there's always Peoples Palace to pop into.
You know what... It's very green.... Loads of green...
Brilliant park for doing parky things in, climbing trees hiding in bushes shouting rude names at strangers, parky things.
Huge park with Lots of grass, great for young kids and BBQS
GOOD FOR A NICE RELAXING DAY WALK GOOD FOR PLAYGROUND FUN FOR KIDS AND A NICE LOOK OVER THE CLYDE
Fantastic park with lots for the kid's n adults as well seen Gerry Cinnamon bit crowded but still fantastic try it and hope your day is as good as mine .
Beautiful place to go in Glasgow, also home to a good few events throughout the year
A beautiful place to go with children, friends or alone. It is also very interesting.
Great place to walk around. Nice green lawns to picnic on or play football. Great paths for bicycle riding or running, also accessible for people with disabilities.
I was so very lost but it was nice. Lots of green. Nice structures in it too. Probably a lovely place to go to hang out.
Family fun day at the shows ,kids had a great time.
Large green space, perfect for bikes and walking as the paths are so wide. Great for a sunny say to sit on the grass, there is also exercise equipment available. Lots of dogs running around and a massive play park for kids. I love to go here and relax or for a bike ride.
One of Glasgow's parks is very well maintained, great for spending one of the few sunny days with the family
Historic place. Well looked after city centre park, right next to the river Clyde.
Had a picnic under trees beside adventure playground. Lovely. Play area was fantastic.
Lovely wee quiet teatime walk with my bestie & 2 doggos xx
These are actually photos of Templeton on the Green, The Doulton Fountain and The People's Palace which are all next to Glasgow Green. Templeton on the Green was designed by William Leiper, after plans previously submitted by James Templeton were rejected by Glasgow Corporation. The plans were so grand, based on The Doge's Palace, that they could not be rejected.
Annual fireworks was fantastic. I gets very busy and if it's wet I recommend staying off the grass
Amazing weekend at TRNSMT festival, great atmosphere and organisation will definitely be going again next year!
Lovely park with typical Glaswigan buildings.
A particularly comfortable large park with the People's Palace is the Glasgow City Museum. There is also a particularly beautiful red building, which seems to be a winery.
