This time I knew to get the "personal" size instead of the small. It was good but a slight bit dry. I don't recall that being the case last time so I suspect it was because the smaller pizza has less room for sauce. It was good and I'll go back the next time I'm passing through town.

Classic Chicago deep dish. And friendly staff. I sat at the to bar to watch a game. It was a Monday night so not to
I crowded.
A patron next to me complained about panhandling outside and a employee went out straight away to kindly ask them to move along.

Don't order it to go thinking you can munch some good pizza and walk around. It was lukewarm at best. Better off sitting inside and having it fresh. I should have known better but watcha gonna do.

Exactly as I expect, but maybe a little larger. The Chicago style deep dish isn't my favorite pizza type in general, but these were good. Service was great, and they had a couple of local beers on tap. I definitely felt like a box was checked having a pizza at "Giordano's"

I really like Giordano's! They have best pizza in the city! It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it! I wen't to this location yesterday evening and as usually I enjoyed the food. However, I was a bit disappointed by the service that me and my friend received. I felt like the hostess gave us the worst sitting in the restaurant (even though there was bunch of free space). In addition, our waiter seemed not to be caring at all. If you are looking for tasty pizza and good service I would suggest hitting Giordano's on E Randolph!

I m utterly just devastated with my experience at your location. I was in the restaurant at 7:43PM and I placed my order at 7:47. We were told it d be 30-35 minutes we didn t get seated till like 8:30 which was like 43 minutes later which was ok. I understood it was busy. The waitress took our drink order and told us our pizza should be out soon. Cause you know we ordered ahead of time? Nope. We got our drinks. One person from our group got a refill. We did not get our pizza till 9:15 that s literally 88 minutes later from when we first ordered it. That was super ridiculous. I can hear the waitress tell everyone that had NOT ordered ahead of time that it would be a 45 minute wait. Which is the norm for any deep dish place. This was a first experience for my boyfriend who came with me to Chicago from Texas. He s such a big pizza lover and this was an utter disappointment. He was so frustrated that he barely ate and I m so sadden that this was experience for deep dish in Chicago. Emma, the waitresses, I could tell she was completely avoiding our table. I would look at her while we were waiting for the pizza and she would turn away. I even tried to get her attention and she ran off. Even when we got the pizza she didn t come by to serve the first slice. Which is usually the traditional thing that the servers due in giordanos. I even saw her do it to another table that got their pizza literally 45 minutes from when they ordered their pizza and I m not talking about ordering ahead. When she came by and asked if we needed a box, we asked for a glass of water and it was not brought to us till I repeated it again to her when she came to pick up my card. No apologies. No explanation. Utter disappointment.

Food wise this place gets 5 star I gave just because of the service , the lady who waited our tables didn t even show up in between as courtesy , and everytime we have to some one and ask. For our deep dish pizza some one came from behind and kept just like throwing at our face . For everyone some helped in serving pizza but for us as I told earlier no one showed up and we have to serve ourselves. Disappaointed in service but food was really good

Great Pizza :) I heard a lot about deep cheese pizza so was very excited to give it a try. It takes around 40 to 45 minutes to prepare the pizza. Pizza was really good and a small pizza was also sufficient for three people. This place is very near to skydeck. Must-try...

Had a deep dish and cheese curds. The waiter started by warning us that the pizza could take up to an hour to cook but promised appetizers would be out in 10 minutes. The curds were excellent, but definitely took longer than 10 minutes. More like 20 minutes. The pizza took slightly longer than an hour. It is probably not something I'd wait an hour for again, but was very good. Less sauce and more cheese versus other famous deep dish spots, which I preferred but my wife did not. It looked like people were picking up, so I'd suggest calling in your order and skipping the wait.

Giordano's came up frequently as a "best deep dish" spot in Chicago and there are a number of conveniently located restaurants, so I tried it. While it does not have great pizza, it is good and of large portion. What I appreciated the most was the lunch special being a true value, and the variety of menu options. Do yourself a favor and don't order the house wine, even though it's made special for them per our server.

45 minutes to make the stuffed deep dish pizzas, but it is very worth it! I had a 2 hour layover at Union Station, and I was able to see most of the area and still have time to get one of their delicious pies :D

Service was horrible! Waited an hour and 10 minutes for a pizza that we never received. Asked waitress twice about pizza, then she proceeded to give our pizza to another table. The manager Allison came to apologize, but said unable to get pizza made sooner than an hour due to high customer volume. We had already waited. Offered to pay our bill which consisted of 2 pops and a cheese bread. Thanks!

Ordered two personal deep dish pizzas. They said they lost our ticket so we didn't get them until around an hour and a half later. They paid for our pizzas and an appetizer. Great hospitality and great pizza!

If you like pizza and you're in Chicago, you have to go here. Huge pizzas (thick), that you can share with multiple people - or you can just order several and share because the prices are reasonable - just be ready to have leftovers! I went there with two others and we each ordered a pizza. We boxed up two full pizzas to go.

Once you arrive to chicago definitely come here. The best deep dish pizza you will eat! The amount of food you get for the small pizza is just enough for two hungry guys haha... Be careful if you are willing to eat a big size pizza

Walked down from the train station on a layover. Best deep dish pizza I have ever had! Staff of friendly and let us know the time to bake was longer then regular pizza. Which after it was said makes sense but I didn't think of that beforehand. Wow. The pizza sauce is very flavorful! We tend to order just plain cheese to see how good the dough and sauces are. This is towards the top!! I still lovely NY thin pizza, but when in town you must try Giordano!

Felt a Bit too Over-Hyped.
Moved in with extra High Expectations, and the Pizza turned out to be OK-ish.

The huge popularity of this place affects the waiting Time. Had to wait first to find a seat, and then had to wait further for the Pizza to be served. The staff did inform us that Deep Dish takes 30-40 minutes or so, but the wait was much more than just that.

Good Ambience overall.
Might not visit again.

Went here during my lunch break around 1230. Not only did they greet me right at the entrance and help me out, when I told them I was in a rush and wanted take out, the hostess walked me to the back, took my order and grabbed the order for me. Total of maybe 10 minutes in a packed Giordano's, all for one customer. I think that speaks volumes for the people here, even if the sample size is limited to one person, she had a great impact on me and helped set my mind at ease. Definitely coming back here again.
