AWESOME PIZZA ! I read up on this pizza restaurant before my wife and I flew into Chicago on a business trip. It did not disappoint either of us. Our stuffed pizza was beyond amazing and our visit here was a real Chicago experience. Love this joint !

Chicago staple! If you come to Chicago, you MUST go to Giordano's for their classic deep dish pizza. Avoid the long lines by getting there early and taking it to go! Enjoy a 312 beer at the bar while you wait for your pizza.

I'm not a pizza expert, so I don't know if this is a true Chicago-style deep dish pizza. But my taste buds know when I'm eating a really good pizza. Brought my entire family there and enjoyed the food. We also ordered their house salad and it was amazing. Two warnings: the wait time to be seated is long (we waited about 30 minutes) and the food takes a long time to come (maybe another 20-30 minutes). If you're not in a hurry, it's worth the wait. Remember that their deep dish is really deep. It's very filling! One slice may be enough for one person. For 10 people, we ordered 3 pizzas and ended up taking out 1 1/2.

Dear Jon Stewart: our pizza is better than yours. There. I said it.

I've been eating Giordano's for well over 15 years now. Since the first time I visited Chicago and ordered a pie with my friends, to today when I get the urging for a thick slice of deep dish, there has never been a better made pizza (in my honest opinion). I also realize this denotes me as a Chicago transplant, so there's that.

My favorite from Giordano's has always been the Chicago Special Deep Dish Pizza, but I substitute pepperoni for the green peppers. It's the most excellent pizza ever made and I usually order it about once every couple of months. It's a great and quick dinner for visiting out-of-town friends, as well!

Remember: it takes about 75 minutes to have it cooked and delivered, so order in plenty of time!

It was very very good pizza. Well done and very tasty, with friendly people all over. The classic deep dish pizzas were hand made and looked as good as they tasted. Their apps were delicious too. Their pizzas take a little while, but its well worth it.

Fill your quench of world famous deep dish pizza right here. It's a bit overpriced but you'll never experience this anywhere else in the world. Visit more inside the restaurant and you'll find "This place never runs out of pizza. Can I get you one ?"

Terrible. Server ignored us forever. It took ages to get seated and we weren't served until like an hour and a half later. Other parties were seated after us and served well before. Pretty sure the waiter completely forgot about us for a while. No drink service or anything. Terrible, terrible service.

Excellent!

Was told by everyone - you got to go to Giordano's when your in Chicago. Not sure if it was because of the hype or not but my expectations were far from met. The place itself and the employee were nice. The "awesome Chicago style deep dish" was not that awesome and nowhere near worth any 30 some dollars for a large. Honestly the only cool part was that the bar tender gave my brother a drink on the house because it was his birthday.

Food was good. Had to wait a long time before being seated but they let us order so we would have our food once our table was ready which was nice of them.. But they still weren't ready soo. About 1 hour or more to finally start eating. Other than that, good experience

I wish we stayed our Chicago pizza for here as it would have likely been a much better review... It was the third Chicago pizza place we went to in three days and Giordano does not come close to its competition (in our case the other two were Lou Malnatis and Coalfire) unfortunately. It's slightly more expensive than either; crust is thicker and reminds me of a loaf of bread rather than a crispy topping holder (Not my style, maybe yours).

Others have big crusts but thin and used to hold the contents, this one feels like they make the crust thick so that they can claim is bigger than the competitors.

They say it takes 45 minutes minimum ( and did at 47 min) where other two we tried were under 30 minutes for better pizza.

Other than that, the garlic parmesan fries were terrible. Thin frozen fries that need the garlic to cover the poor frozen flavour and the parmesan is the cheap shaker kind and we just happened to be there during happy hour but the happy hour is only if you sit at bar... but you don't find that out unless you ask.

Ordered a personal stuffed pizza that took 45 mins to make. When i got back to work and looked at it, it looked as though someone reheated it in the microwave for too long! Not only that it was about the size of my smart phone. The staff was nice but why would they think that was a ok to sell to someone for $9! Not only did i waste my money but i wasted 15 mins of my 30 min break to go return it! I will never go back to that location.

My first time in Chicago. 6:00 pm on a Saturday night, only about a 10 minute wait for a table. Pizza took about 40 minutes from order to table, not bad. Crust was under cooked. Doughy. Kind of like Bisquick. Was really disappointed. $45 for a medium deep dish, a Dr. Pepper and an iced tea. Not complaining about the price, but FOR that price I expected a great pizza. Was in a hurry to pick up family at the airport or we would have brought it up to management. Took remaining 3 slices home to St. Louis, popped them in a hot oven for 10 minutes and it was much better. I would give them another shot in the future because the staff was very friendly even though I was sporting my St. Louis Blues t-shirt.

If you re new to Chicago or just visiting the place all you have to know about is the DEEP DISH PIZZA. One of the Chicago s signature food which you should never miss.

For my taste, the best pizza we tried in Chicago. Its only flaw is that the World Famous deep dish pizza takes 45 minutes.
With respect to the attention is excellent and even speak in Spanish.
The ambience of the place is nice and typical of Italian canteen, but it was very cold

Bad experience. I visited this place on September 27th and an employee (Men around 50s) who was at the reception and after was near to the restrooms told me to put on the mask in a rude way. You must ask it politely since I was eating and I had oil in my mouth so I went to the restrooms to clean it and it was impossible to use mask at that time. Treat your customers better, because you depend on them. I definitely will not come back again. The food is good but the service was horrible.

No wonder this place is so well renowned, they serve really delicious deep dish pizza. Carefully baked and each pizza takes around 45 minutes in making. It's worth the patience. The pizza is very heavy and it takes a big appetite to have more than 3 slizes.
