This is a great service offered by Gilbert. Bring your driver's license, most recent utility bill and check their hours and list of accepted items online. Just pull up and someone will come out to assist you. Super easy!

Safe place to get rid of hazardous household materials, drive up and they unload out of your vehicle. Entrance a little hard to find, on the north side of Queen Creek Road west of Greenfield, and west of the main complex on its own driveway. Gilbert residents only, Queen Creek residents can get a voucher on the town website. They also have free usable stuff outside- lawn and garden chemicals, household cleaners, paint and stain, some automotive. You just take what you want.

I looked at this website and it has The Town of Gilbert's house hold hazardous waste facility as being open but after filling my SUV with waste and driving to the facility I found out that they were closed.

Gilbert friends, this team makes getting the worst waste to the right place so very easy. Not only does handling hazardous waste this way help preserve our environment, it reduces the long term cost of our landfill operations by preserving the equipment used in the process. This lets our town make other investments with your tax dollars!

I arrived after the posted close time today and everyone - especially Mike - was very nice and still helped me out. It's the second or third time I've dropped stuff off there and they've always been friendly and helpful. It's a boon to the community. Thank you!
