Germantown Veterinary Clinic Review

I live right down the street from Germantown Vet and used them a few times for emergencies when I couldn't get in to see my regular vet. I was so impressed with all of the staff, the follow up, and how quickly I could get in if I needed to see someone that I left my old vet of 10+ years and now bring both my cat and my dog exclusively to Germantown Vet. I love the fact that I can get in same day if it's something urgent. I also really like that the vets will try my pets on less costly and invasive remedies first and not just right to x-rays or expensive testing if they think it may be something more minor. 5 stars for Germantown Vet.

Germantown Vets are great. I've used them for the last nine years and they are always caring, professional, and thoughtful. I would recomend them for your pets.

Our 16 year old yorkie recently left us, he had been with the clinic since 4 month old. He received high quality care from Dr. Eastep and Dr. Tidd, they both are top-notch doctors with great compassion. All the technicians and front desk staff are friendly and helpful. I am glad we chose this place for our beloved dog.

I brought my Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, Fern, in for a yearly health checkup. And it turned out not to be a totally routine visit. But first, what has impressed me the most about GVC is the enthusiasm and kindness of the staff, from the front end and check out folks, to the technicians, and the doctors. They seem to deeply enjoy both people and the animals for which they care.
While Fern received all "A"s for her health visit, she began to display some issues about 3 hours after the visit. I was instructed to bring her back ASAP, which I did of course, (she is our "fur-baby" after all). While she has never displayed a negative reaction to her shots before, this time she did. We were seen almost immediately and with great concern for Fern. After a careful examination, we were provided with the appropriate pain/anti-inflammatory medication. And I please to say within hours Fern was feeling better and is now back to her loving, active self.
The true test of quality service is not when everything goes perfectly, but when this go slightly awry. The people at Germantown Veterinary Clinic met and surpassed my expectations, providing great care of my four legged family member. Thank you.

Everyone at Germantown Vet has been a pleasure to work with! We have 2 dogs, and one of our dogs has some behavioral issues. The staff at Germantown Vet has been nothing short of wonderful when it comes to handling his delicate behavior. I would recommend them a million times over. They truly are the best and they care for their patients like they were their own pets!

Great staff; very friendly and knowledgeable. The location is clean and well maintained. I've been coming here for years. My dog is much happier with the allergy treatments I've been getting from here. I would recommend this location to friends.

We use to live in Gaithersburg and now we moved 45 min away to Clarksville, yet we still took both of our dogs to Germantown Vet Clinic. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell that they love all the animals that come in. Our dogs are jindo mix breed and can seem intimidating, but they have never used a muzzle on them or seemed afraid to take care of them. The doctors are also great. If we take them in for something serious, they personally call us the next day to see if our dogs are doing ok. They are a bit pricey but for the customer service and their knowledge, I believe its always worth it. They were also very sweet and took good care of our dogs before they passed.

My 17 yr was told her visit would be $35 for her hamster. Was charged $57 plus $36 that was also "erroneously" added. I was not with her and I believe they took advantage of a naive, distraught young girl. I went in and got her reimbursed, but they would not have had I not called. Told them they should be ashamed.

We have four dogs and recently decided to find a new more reasonably priced vet. Based on reviews we decided to try Germantown vet. They provided the two dogs needing their teeth cleaned a complimentary evaluation and quote. We were impressed with the tech. and the doc. we decided to use them. They took such good care of our babies. The tech. and vet both took time to review what was done and what we needed to do during the recovery period. Price was good, procedures went well and everyone was very pleasant. I will add during our checkout, we overheard a staffer on the phone with a client who apparently has an ailing pet, she was so very compassionate with the caller it brought tears to my eyes.
We will definitely return.

We moved to the D.C. metro area about four years ago with our two, older dogs and finding a reputable veterinary practice was a high priority for us. We asked friends and coworkers and everyone referred us to Germantown Veterinary Clinic and I'm so glad they did! The staff are knowledgeable and professional and always treated our girls as if they were one of their own. I would strongly recommend Germantown Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for a veterinarian in the Montgomery County area and beyond.

Dr. Rozol, the reception staff, the vet techs are all top notch. My experience with the other docs in this group practice have all been extremely positive. Everyone has been professional, warm towards me and my dog and followed up with me as needed. I have had dogs my whole life and this veterinary practice is the best.

I have recently changed vets and could not be happier. They are professional, friendly and very supportive. The facility is spacious and is kept clean which is very important to me. Boarding is also available in the event that I would need to board my dogs.

I have been going to Germantown Veterinary Clinic since my previous vet office closed. When I first walked into this clinic in search of new vets, I was greeted with the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. They made me feel welcome and gave me numerous brochures to read about the practice. Needless to say, I have been taking my pets to this practice since 2009/2010 and plan to stay. Over this period of time, I have had the opportunity to see all the vets; they are amazing!!! Their knowledge and compassion go way above and beyond. The technicians and other staff are extremely receptive and customer-oriented. Thank you, Germantown Veterinary Clinic. l am grateful for having found this practice.

I receive very prompt and personal attention every time I bring my cat for regular check-ups.

I can t say enough good things about Germantown vet clinic. They have always taken such good care of our two dogs, and give us reasonable and realistic treatment suggestions that are in the pets best interest. Dr. Rozal and Dr. Eastrop in particular are extremely compassionate and always willing to fully discuss any questions and concerns. I don t feel nickel and dimed here nor like they are over treating like I have experienced at many other vets in the area. We recently moved over 30 min away and will continue to take our dogs there because I trust them and know I won t find care like this elsewhere in town. They are also extremely good at getting our dogs in same day, and the staff have even gone above and beyond a few times to stay late to accommodate a last minute emergency. I truly appreciate them and know you will too!

Been linked to Germantown Veterinary Clinic by several sweet cats over many years. My current rescued baby, Tabbi, who is now a senior, as am I, gets great care and attention there, as do I. So, I highly recommend them.

They've been the one and only place we've taken our lab, Chloe, since we rescued her almost four years ago. The vets and staff all take the time to know the pets. And it's great seeing that most of the staff will remember the pets (even if they don't remember you) when you return for boarding or appointments.

You will pay slightly more for veterinary care here over the vet shops they like to place in strip malls, attached to a Petsmart, and such, but we felt anytime a privately-owned clinic provides much more attentive care for a pet. Well worth the little extra money.

The resort portion is wonderful. I cannot speak for cat boarding, but the runs for dogs are spacious. I do recommend paying a little more each day for extra playtime though, if you have a larger dog that is more active, like our lab. We've boarded our dog for quick overnights and up to a three-week stay when we had our wedding and honeymoon and have had no issue.

I also recommend taking advantage of the midweek specials if you want to get your dog a bath and a blowout. Worth the savings.

Cannot recommend Germantown Vet enough if you have a pet that needs care or boarding.

I have taken kittens and a cat to Germantown Veterinary Clinic. They have always provided excellent care and answered all of my questions. I especially like that they answer my questions without making me feel stupid or silly for asking small things or random questions. I would absolutely recommend them.

I first used Germantown Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Tidd, several months after we first moved to Maryland in 1997. I had a very sweet little rescue (Z) that suddenly became sick, before I had the opportunity to establish our dogs with a vet. So, I took my chances at the vet around the corner. It turned out Z had a life-threatening illness. Ultimately Dr. Tidd was able to diagnose and treat her, saving her life. I really cannot express the level of kindness and professionalism that has been shown to our family over the years. I can say that any pet that your family loves could not receive better care anywhere else.

Fantastic service with skilled and caring technicians and doctors. I feel safe knowing my cats are in their care. I also appreciate all the extra measures they are taking to keep their staff and clients safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

all was about money and find a way to charge me more, from $300 dental cleaning to $1500 and from simple office visit of $56 to $ 500 it does say a lot about this place!!!!!

Lucy Tidd and her entire staff are very caring people. They are well worth driving the extra mile to have your pet cared for by the very best.

They have been taking care of our dog for the last three years. The techs, front desk staff, and doctors are all very friendly. The doctors are knowledgable and helpful. The facility is clean and same day appointments were common. They even carved out time to see our dog when he was very sick. We are moving out of town, and hope our new vet team is as friendly, capable, and helpful as they have been.

We have been going to Germantown Vet Clinic since we got our English bulldog at 3 months old. He is 10 now. We have never seen anyone but Dr. Rizol and she is the absolute best. Knows bulldogs - really cares about the animals and is upfront and honest about her recommendations, pricing, etc. We refuse to see anyone else! Amazing vet techs, front desk staff and all other staff! Courtney has been our favorite tech for years as well and she is absolutely wonderful with our dog! All of the staff are kind and caring and you always feel taken care of. Prices are fair and quality of care for your pet/furry family member is the best you ll find anywhere!

Amazing how Germantown Veterinary Clinic has adapted to the current Covid-19 crisis and has still managed to provide the best care. I took my deerhound for his checkup and it was managed beautifully with me maintaining my distance in the car. Always a positive experience for us here and I highly recommend.

This Clinic is A++++. From the time you walk in the door you and your pet are treated as family. The care and concern is exceptional. Very comfortable in the capable hands of the Vets.

The vets are great. They are excellent at problem solving with the symptoms of your dog or cat, including behavior problems. Their facilities and medical equipment are the best, including the boarding for cats and dogs. The entire staff knows our pet's names and how to handle them if they anxious. For 25 years we have given our pets the best care possible.

I have been using the same veterinarian since 1990 when we lived in North Potomac. I now live in Germantown and I still take my pets to Dr. Dan Berbert at Gaithersburg Animal Hospital. I have one very fearful dog rescued from a high kill shelter after he had been hit by a car. Taking him in the car proved so stressful for him that I began using a mobile vet just for him. This became expensive and inconvenient for me, so I looked for a vet close to me to reduce Marley s stress which always resulted in panting, excessive drooling, diarrhea and vomiting. My research led me to Germantown Veterinary Clinic. They did not disappoint. I was very impressed with every aspect of this animal hospital, beginning with the staff, the hospital itself, and the care given to Marley. I m happy to have found a place where I can take Marley and feel comfortable knowing he is getting excellent care without the stress of a long car ride. The many recommendations I received about Germantown Veterinary Clinic were spot on. Even Dr. Dan, who has taken care of my pets for almost 30 years, recommended Germantown Veterinary Clinic as a place Marley would get excellent care without suffering the stress of a long car ride. I am so relieved that Germantown Veterinary Clinic lived up to the many glowing reviews they received on Nextdoor.

Disgusting place, they charged me fees for my dead dog. Now I have to deal with a collections issue because I refused to pay the fees rendered. WHAT A DISHONEST AND MONEY-HUNGRY PLACE. SHAME ON THEM.

Doc Gryskiewicz is the best vet we've ever worked with. From our very first visit with her to the most recent, she is just a joy to work with. She has called Brutus "The Miracle Dog"., when in fact she is the miracle worker. Over the years she has prescribed two different medications for Brutus that only a farm girl and a Chinese "DOM" would even know about. In both instances, they continue to work well showing verifiable results. We travel over forty miles one way to work with her. Giga-thumbs up!!

Dr. Rizol and all of the staff are fantastic. They have taken such good of both of my fur babies. They don't run unnecessary tests and truly care about your pets. Can't recommend highly enough.

Had to let go and say goodbye to my fur baby, my best girl Mixie today. I walked in and was greeted by the front desk staff. 1 of the 2 young ladies let me know they were booked but could service me for an extra fee. At that moment I would have emptied my account to have them fix up my best girl but that didn t happen.

The doctor came in gentle as ever answered all my questions through all of my tears told me my options. I was allowed to call her several times to my area because I wasn t ready to make a decision and again through it all she and her staff were patient with me.

I never want to feel this pain every again. The pain of losing my four legged loyal best fur baby however the staff at this veterinary clinic deserve every star given.

I am very disappointed on how they run things in there establishment. My girlfriend s dog has had something going on with her leg and before they ran tests on it, they told her prior that it was 50% benign or 50% malignant, and that s why she was even getting the test in the first place, so a week goes by and they get the results and literally the only thing it says it could either be 50% cancerous or not. I don t know why they would tell her the same thing they told her already??? If you want actual results go somewhere else that doctors will actually give them. Usually I don t do this, but this is deciding if her dog has cancer or not, you can tell that they don t care about your dogs well being and only care about the money.

My husband and I just brought home a new puppy and needed a vet in the area. I am so grateful that I found Germantown Veterinary Clinic! Every single person I have interacted with has been warm, friendly and eager to help/answer all of my questions as a new puppy parent. I have emailed with them, called them and been in for a wellness exam and every interaction has been such a pleasant experience. I seriously have never had such a positive experience with any business or organization.

All of the Veterinarians, Tech's and staff at this Veterinary Clinic are amazing . As of today they have helped us say goodbye to 2 much loved cats in the last year. Even with everything going on at this time Dr Rizol was so kind and understanding and helped us through a very difficult time. We will be forever grateful.

Dr. Claire is the best vet I have ever been to! I had 4 dogs when I tried out her services at Gaithersburg Animal Hospital about 5 years ago. Then she made a move from Gaithersburg to Village Vet of Urbana and Germantown Veterinary Clinic. Even though the drive takes me even longer from Silver Spring, Dr. Claire makes it worth it! I know my dogs physical and mental health have always been a top priority for her. I am a dog trainer, and in my opinion, mental health is equally as important as physical, so I appreciate vets who understand this. Also, with 4 senior dogs it was critical that I find a vet who was understanding of the fact that I just wanted to focus on their quality of life as they age, so that their last years of life would be happy/comfortable. Dr. Claire allowed me to do that.

I just had to put down two of my dogs in 2 months. When I put down my Bulldog, Dr. Claire was unavailable so I had to go to another vet at Germantown Veterinary clinic (dont remember her name). My experience with the front desk staff was very good. They were kind and brought me right back into a room when I got there. But the vet and the vet tech were not the warmest people during such an emotional time. I get that my dog wasn't a normal patient of theirs but even so, I feel like the warmest, kindest people should be doing euthanasia. I have also been in the animal care industry for long enough to know that some animal people aren't people people, you know what I am saying?! But, with that said, I stand by my above statement= warm people should be doing and assisting with euthanasia, for the dogs sake and for their guardians! The vet was also going to euthanize my dog when she wasn't even fully asleep. The tech said that most dogs don't completely fall asleep. Thats not my experience (years of shelter work assisting in euthanasia), but okay. Then the vet seemed slightly annoyed when I mentioned it to her. She said that I told her I wanted to get it done quickly, which is true, but not because I was in a rush, I just knew it was time so I didn't need any time to think about my decision and I just wanted my dog to be asleep as quickly as possible. She gave me two options, give the medicine more time or give her more to put her in a deep sleep. I decided to wait and eventually the medication did kick in and she fell asleep. Then after some prodding with a needle the vet found a vein and it was done. It wasn't the worst euthanasia experience I have had but it was nowhere near the best either. Gave this place 3 stars for Dr. Claire and the staff that I have met in the past who have been nice.

Had a wonderful experience with my dog Buddy at the Germantown Vet Clinic. He is 14+ years old, and needed his yearly shots updated - they were able to see that next day, and no wait time when we got there. The vet and tech assistant really seemed to enjoy their work, and Buddy left a very happy camper! Highly recommend them...

Cannot recommend this place enough. I never feel rushed, they always take the extra time to answer all of my questions, and are extremely thorough in their care. At a routine dental cleaning with them, they found a concerning mass on my dog. I am so grateful that they paid such close attention to it and that I was able to get him the proper care and treatment before it grew into something more concerning. Just one example of how great they are!

Not only do they care so much about your fur babies they take care to charge you only for tests/meds you need. They use what tests will give them the most information, instead of 2-3 tests 1 may help them enough. They are all warm and caring people, while being total professionals!!!

They handle all of my pets needs. They're very professional, clean & have wonderful hospitality but they are pricey. In the long run definitely worth it.

Dino and I have been seeing Germantown Vet for over 4-5 years. I love their entire staff. Dino had to go due to an accident with another dog and he was very scared but everyone dealt with Dino in such an amazing way.

It can be a hit or miss with this vet. As first time pet owners, we're very nervous about bringing our dogs and leaving it to the care of people we don't know. Our parents regularly bring their dog here so we thought it would be a good experience with us. But that was not case, during 2 of our visits, are 2 month old puppy (at that time) got pretty nervous around one of the technicians, chick with a tattoo, with little to no patience and grabbed our puppy aggresively. I didn't know what to do because they were trying to examine them but that was deff not the way to treat our puppy. Suprisngly. on the next visit our puppy had a a similar incident with a different technician, are both these chicks sisters? and both of them walked out of the room angry at the incident. I'm sorry my puppy couldn't control himself but no way to treat a dog, specially if this is their damn job.

I've been bringing my dogs here for about three years, and I have been very pleased with everything. The staff is consistently nice and professional, it's always been easy to make an appointment when something unexpected happens, and their prices are very reasonable. One of the things that I like the most is that the veterinarians take the time to explain things like test results, so that the average person can understand them and they aren't just a bunch of numbers and acronyms thrown around without any context. They also offer boarding services, which has been a huge help for me because there aren't many decent options in this area.

On a personal note, we had to euthanize one of our dogs about two years ago, and the staff could not have been more kind and considerate during that process. They went to great lengths to ensure that everything went smoothly, and they never rushed us or tried to hurry the process along. They let us have all the time that we needed to say goodbye, and it really helped. I do not think that I could recommend them highly enough.

So caring and very lovely! Usually take my ferret to see Dr. Tidd in Urbana, And was a little nervous to go all the way out to Germantown to their original clinic but I was not disappointed! I showed up about an hour early and all the techs and staff were awesome, and gave Boydie lots of attention! (Which he loves cause he is a ham!) by the time we saw Dr. Claire, early might I add, it was awesome! She was amazing! Very sweet and calming and gentle to my boy. Gave him ear meds and showed me how to administer them and everything. She asked I keep her updated and then actually called me two days later to check in. Exotic pets or cats and dogs, this place is fantastic!! Clean, friendly, and fairly priced!

Great services, they work hard to get you in on short notice. I really like this practice.

I've been taking my dogs to Germantown Veterinary Clinic for almost 30 years. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable, compassionate, and friendly. My Golden Retrievers have always been glad to go there because they know they are going to get plenty of love and attention.

If I could, I would give this place a zero. Very friendly on the surface, while recommending services, requirements, and procedures that are not necessary.

I live an hour away, but was impressed with this practice the first time I came to have my dog's teeth cleaned. I came this time because my local vet was unable to "squeeze us in" unless we declared an emergency (in which case, they would see the dog but charge more money). I really like this practice-they seem to really like dogs, and always treat me as an equal. The vet tech, Allison, was particularly impressive, and our vet was great, too. We were seen promptly, and the actual cost was less than what I normally have to pay. I highly recommend this veterinary practice.

I brought my elderly cat in for what I perceived to be dental problems as she was not eating. We frequently use this business to board our outdoor cat when we are away. (we have 4 cats) and we have had such terrific service with them we decided to change vets. I don't regret it. From the terrific courteous people at the desk to the brilliant vets, we had a wonderful experience. My cat had extensive dental infection that required dental surgery. Cost was reasonable, vet personable and took the time to explain every detail of x-rays and instructions for meds.

Spacious clinic to accommodate my big dog, kind staff who help you with everything. Would recommend to anyone, even if you don t have a cat or dog they see exotic pets too!

My mom and I took our cat and dog there for many years! They were so compassionate when we lost both of them. I now take my own dog and cat there and couldn't be happier. Their staff are so sweet and knowledgeable. The practice is clean, organized, and very pretty! The techs are amazing! I have seen different vets at my appointments and I can honestly say that I love every one! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet! (:

Great service, but the new guy handling phone calls is really lost, full of incorrect information, and just about useless. Wastes my time on the phone and in person contradicting himself and being corrected by the doctors.

The staff at Germantown vet are always super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I'm always to get an appointment either the same day, or when I request. They always take great care of my cats and don't recommend unnecessary procedures or treatments. Truly a great office!

Absolutely great vet support for fifteen years and counting. One dog, four cats and they even helped our hamster! Whether it be the doctor, tech, finance or reception team, all are absolutely wonderful. Particularly so when that unfortunate time comes when you lose a family pet to age or illness. They are really understanding and compassionate!

I have been going to Germantown Vet for the last 7 years for my two cats. One unfortunately passed away 2 years ago, and the other passed away last week. The service that we received from Germantown Vet has always been amazing. The people there are knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. I don't know when I'll get another pet (or if I will)... however I know that I'll be going back to Germantown Vet if I do. I can't give them as many stars as they deserve.

I've been taking my Shih Tzu's to Germantown Vet for over 16 years and they do a terrific job and care for my dogs like they were theirs.

Germantown Vet in Germantown, MD, I can't say enough good things about them. The staff is great! They take the time to listen to you and your pet's needs. They are very patient with explaining things and really take the time to come up with solutions, rather than leaving you on your own to figure out the next step.

We moved to Gaithersburg, and were recommend to take our dog here for her annual shots. The first thing the vet tech talked about was their Wellness Plan. Seemed a bit 'salesy,' but I've been in the sales industry before, so the plan made sense to me. It's worth getting if you don't/ can't afford to pay for everything out of pocket. Her annual shots would have cost well over $350, but this only cost us $80 (enrollment fee, if I remember correctly).

We had to come back in 3 weeks for her remaining get booster and rabies shots. Our 2nd visit seemed to be a bit frustrating as that vet tech didn't seem to know what we were there for and which shots needed to be administered. When he clicked around on the screen, he seemed to be able to pull last visit/ records, but still unsure.

Our 2nd visit seemed to be more stressful to our pup as they (tech and dr) were more rushed than patient with her. My dog never behaved this scared at the doctors, and we've been to 3 in the past 2 years. I'm aware of the number of animals you see every day, but she is the only one I see daily. Take the time to listen to the owners when they tell you to how to handle their furry loved ones.

I first came to GVC when they were over at the old house by the train station. We had just moved here, hadn t yet established our dogs with a vet, and our little rescue,Zellie,became very sick very quickly. Dr. Tidd diagnosed her with Addisons Disease and saved her life. We have been loyal clients ever since. She has treated every animal we have had since then with such professionalism, care and compassion, we would never consider taking our dogs any where else!

As always, Germantown Vet is always professional, courteous and friendly. Maddie loves everyone there and we appreciate them so much!

I unfortunately had to put my senior dog to sleep almost a month ago. Due to COVID-19 euthanasia s ate the only time clients may enter the facility. This made me very happy because there is no way I could ve done it without being there through the entire process. The staff and vet were all very helpful and made this difficult event smooth and efficient. My fur baby went peacefully which is all I wanted.
Only had one issue which was most likely due to new staff members which was an incorrect estimate on the cost...it was a bit of a shock but luckily a family member was able to help me out. Although, I wasn t able to afford ashes returned, GVC sent me perfect paw prints in the mail. I am so grateful and thankful to everyone there for helping a painful time go as smoothly as possible!

Germantown Veterinary Clinic is a wonderful place! I started bringing my cat here last November when we moved to Germantown. I chose the clinic because it was close to my apartment and it has good reviews. Well I am so happy I started! As soon as you walk in the door they are super friendly. Even just calling they help you as much as they can. The doctors are exceptional and always call back. They have helped me through some silly, but stressful situations as a pet parent. They helped give a diagnosis for our cat and gave us ways to limit her discomfort. I would recommend Germantown Veterinary Clinic to any pet family!

Wonderful vets and caring staff! Intelligent, knowledgeable and compassionate, they are so devoted to their work. We were fortunate to have Dr. Rachael and Dr. Robin care for our senior dog Cinnamon. They always took the time to explain his health conditions and treatment options, and were very supportive when it was time to let our dear boy go. We are getting a puppy in a few weeks and look forward to taking her in for her first visit!

The minimal contact curbside service was great. The nurse that came out to talk us through our first appointment for our kitten was lovely and very informative. The bill was reasonable and we are happy to take our pet(s) back again. I would gladly recommend this vet to other pet owners!

They were absolutely wonderful with all of my babies! In fact, Fuzzbutt was more calm around just the technicians. (Without mommy hovering over and worrying every second we're in the office) I recommend them to everyone I talk to with fur babies and plan to take my kitten in for the first time very soon!

Our cat received excellent care from Dr. Eastep. She is very gentle and kind with animals and helped calm my cat who gets very nervous at the vet. She provided a thorough exam and explained any and all questions we had. She called to follow-up with lab results and see how our cat was doing. We highly recommend Dr. Eastep.

The receptionists, tech assistants and the docs are caring and professional. Germantown VetClinic offers superior services to our 4 legged family members. I have had dogs for over 50 years. This place is the best.

I live in Silver Spring, MD but will drive for the service here. The vets and staff are extremely competent and kind. Plus, their prices are way more reasonable and they don't try to sell you a million products and tests like Banfield does.

Germantown Vet is top notch - 5 stars! I've been to other facilities, changed to Germantown Vet on a recommendation and couldn't be more happy and satisfied. Kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable staff - from the vets to the front desk support. They also have a wonderful dog trainer on staff who I can't say enough positive things about. This place goes the extra mile.

We have been clients of Germantown Veterinary Clinic for 30 plus years.. 5 dogs! We first lived in Germantown then moved to Gaithersburg, but never left this clinic because we loved the care given to our pets and loved the doctors. Often times we needed or wanted to get a same day appointment which was always accommodated. The staff greeted our pets and us. Our pets received the best care by the staff and with compassion. I highly recommend this clinic.

We have been customers of Germantown Veterinary Clinic for many years. All of our little ones, 4 pugs and 3 cats are patients. We have always been pleased with our experience but now have a heart rendering story to tell of why everyone should be a client.

Recently one of our Pug Dogs, 4 year old Bear, suffered a potentially fatal condition, a complete bowel obstruction. Due to Germantown Veterinary Clinic's skillful diagnosticians and advanced facilities and a very professional staff this bowel obstruction was correctly and quickly diagnosed and successfully treated surgically the same day. This surgery was not routine. The object caused damage to Bears small intestine and required an 8" resection of his small intestines. Due to the damage there was significant risk of a failed resection and infection (which would quite likely be fatal) caused by the object which appears to be part of a play toy. Incidentally, we have no idea where the toy came from. Its unrecognizable to us. Fortunately Bear recovered uneventfully and a week later is about 99% back to normal. Had it not been for the skill of Bear's Surgeon Dr. Tidd and her equally professional staff Bear might not be here today. We will forever be clients of Germantown Veterinary Clinic. Be sure you carry pet insurance, it removes the worry of payment for such lifesaving surgery as well at a time you do not need additional challenges. We cannot express enough our total confidence in the People and facilities of Germantown Veterinary Clinic. We are lifetime clients.

We've been taking our pets to Germantown Vet for years. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and the practitioners are compassionate, and great at making sure all of your questions are answered and your pets are healthy and everything's taken care of--we've never felt rushed out the door, or like our questions aren't really being answered.

We love their health care plan for our pets! It makes all of our cats' regular medical expenses (from checkups and vaccines to heartworm protection) easier for us to pay for, and if our cats get sick, we know it's less likely to be an out-of-the-blue, huge expense. Most importantly, it makes it easier and more affordable to keep them healthy and happy in the first place!

Great staff from the receptionists, vet techs, vets and cashiers. Most comprehensive team that I have every seen at any vet clinic. One stop shop for many services. A little pricy but never a complaint, ever.

I took my two cats here in an emergency on the same day, and this clinic in my opinion is top notch! They took wonderful care of my cats and me while we were there and followed up with us after the appointment to make sure our cats were doing alright. We were extremely grateful that they accommodated us on such short notice. I had been taking my cats to a place further away but now that we know what excellent service these people provide we will be using them!

Germantown Vet was the third vet we have used once we adopted our two dogs two and three years ago). The first vet always kept us waiting for a long time in the waiting room, even for the first appointment of the day, and when we knew the vet was there and had no other patients. Germantown Vet is very punctual! The second vet's office was small and the dogs were nervous when we went in. I was so pleased with Germantown Vet, that I have used them ever that first appointment. They are so pleasant to deal with and our dogs love going there. There is no fear from them when we pull up in front. The facility is very large, open and clean, and they are gentle with the animals. They are also more than willing to offer advice over the phone, if your issue does not warrant a trip to the vet. I consider finding them a bonus for us and our furry family members!

This Veterinary Clinic Saved my dogs life on 10/30/18 at 6:00pm. Rudy was chocking on a bone and I rushed to this clinic and everyone was amazing. This whole situation was traumatic because it was unexpected and within minutes of returning home I noticed my canine was struggling to breathe on the floor as I returned home from work. Rudy has since made a full recovery and the staff even called me to inquire about his health days after the event. I am thankful for the amazing staff and Dr. Eastep for treating Rudy and I well. I would recommend their services to anyone without reservations.

Took my large, friendly (but a bit of a coward) cat to Germantown Veterinary Clinic for the first time, just for a check up. Staff was very friendly and competent, and handled my cat with ease. He was good for blood work, and didn't even notice his shots. I was very happy with the care they showed us.
