Love this place and their amazing staff. My dog, if possible, loves it even more. He gets spoiled with lots of treats and kisses every time we visit!

Very comfortable experience for pet, daughter and myself. Knowledgeable staff and vets who answered all my questions and gave me multiple options for continued care for pet and how to save money along the way. Not pushy on what they recommend for treatment, vaccines and care.

I came to this vet recently after going to another one in the Montgomery area , I am originally from PA and only moved to Germantown 6 months ago. I had a WONDERFUL vet in PA and was having trouble finding another here in MD that I really liked and felt comfortable with. I was disappointed in my first choice after moving here and decided to try Germantown Vet Clinic due to their positive ratings on Google... I am not at all disappointed and so very glad I switched to this vet!!! The office is well kept and the staff is delightful! I also LOVED Dr. Ted and finally feel like my dog (who has diabetes) is well taken care of ! Even my dog is more comfortable at this vet! I receive follow up calls and the staff and veterinarians seem to not just be extremely knowledgeable but also actually care ! Those qualities are a must for me and my special needs dog! I would recommend this vet clinic to anyone and am so very pleased to have them caring for my fur baby ! :) Thank you Germantown Veterinary Clinic !

Germantown Veterinary Clinic is the best in Montgomery County! I have been a client since 2001, and I would not consider taking my dogs anywhere else unless referred by GVC. The doctors (Dr. Eastep is our favorite go-to doc!), technicians, and other staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. The facility is state-of-the-art and the range of services offered are endless. I take comfort in knowing that my fur babies will always receive the best care at GVC, and I highly recommend them to others who are seeking the highest quality of health care available for their pets.

I've been an anilmal lover my entire life. My Mum used to tell me that I've loved animals since before I knew why. I'm 62 now and I've worked with more veterinarians than I can remember. Dr. Gryskiewicz (Dr. Robin) is by far, the best of them all. She is truly kind and compassionate and she takes great care of Brutus. He's an eleven and a half year old Rottweiler which is roughly the equivalent of a ninety year old human. He's outlived his entire litter of seven pups by over two years! That is a direct result of the care that he has received from Dr. Robin and the rest of the family at GTV. They've kept my best friend going, well beyond his expected lifetime. I love them all for it.

Fantastic staff at this clinic! They take great care of my dog, TJ, and are always sociable. Clearly communicate with patients and call to check on how he's doing after a visit. Fair prices and also has an app to track his health info!

I had to take my dog Tank in unexpectedly for a broken toenail. I was able to be seen that day. He is sometimes reactive with other dogs, and they accommodated us by taking us directly into an examination room. All staff was professional in every aspect. I received a follow-up phone call to see how he was doing. Very happy with services provided.

Germantown Veterinary Clinic is amazing! Everyone there, from the front desk on back, is great to work with. My dog loves going there, too! Great customer/pet service and great bed side manners from all we encountered. This facility is very clean and smells good too! Keep up the good work!

Everyone at Germantown Vet has always been super friendly/considerate whenever I have interacted with them. They are flexible with my appointment times, which is helpful considering I work later in the evening. And most importantly, they take wonderful care of my kitten whenever he is at their facility - whether it be for a routine visit, surgery, or weekend boarding. Couldn't imagine liking a veterinary office any more!

The best vet clinic around! Everyone is wonderful and knowledgeable and you get the best care for your pet. I am actually postponing moving out from the area because of this clinic, probably I would drive even 2 hours each time anyway to get this excellent care!

Our one year old kitty Wilson had been experiencing ear problems for a few months and we had tried a few rounds of medication through another vet. With too much time and money spent (and no results) we decided to bring him to Germantown Vet Clinic. Not only did they help us wipe out the ear problems within two weeks but they also didn't charge us an arm and a leg. Prices are very reasonable, atmosphere is comfortable, and the staff are all very friendly. We highly recommend this vet!

I bring my dog for routine checkups but most recently took her in because she was having some pain. I called at 5:30pm and they were able to see my pup an HOUR later at 6:30pm (which was especially nice considering they close at 7pm and I always feel bad going somewhere right before they close & holding people up from going home). Everyone is SO genuine & truly do care about the animals. The prices seem to be reasonable (I don't have much experience to be able to compare). They explain everything they are doing and will tell you about pricing BEFORE they do anything and make sure you approve. No question this is the place to go if you need a Vet in the Germantown area.

Clean, professional and awesome staff. My dog is always scared of the vet, but she really loves the staff here. They're attentive and they don't push anything you don't need on you! I also board her here whenever we have to go away because she's already familiar w the staff. So happy to have found them.

I've been brining my felines to the clinic for over a decade now. It was really just kismet that I happened to move me to Germantown temporarily and find a new veterinary practice. I'm eternally grateful for the care they've provided over the years. From treating an older cat with serious heart disease to keeping tabs on our three young Doll face Persians, the level of professionalism and knowledge is very impressive. Doctor Eastep is one of warmest most compassionate human beings I've ever met, and I wouldn't have them see anyone else. Believe me, this level of personal care is worth the short trip up I-270 to Father Hurley Blvd.

Wow! never in my life was, I made to feel so stupid when asking questions. When I told her I didn't understand what was going on she talked to me like I was a 2 year old. Then when time to pay me bill Paula checked me out and asked me if I'd like my paperwork which she then indicated that I could hand the paperwork right to my new vet. Amazing.

I started going to Germantown Vet solely for acupuncture treatments for my Brittany about 12 years ago. The care that they provided him was so great that I switched all of my vet care to them. They have taken care of my Golden for the past 9 years and I could not be happier. The technicians are friendly, caring and responsive. The vets are knowledgeable, also caring and generally great doctors and I never feel like they are suggesting unnecessary treatments. I highly recommend Germantown Vet Clinic

We have been going to this veterinary clinic since 2003with all our many pets. On a recent visit with my dog due to an earache. We discussed what to do with a very large lipoma. After talking about how it was effectIng her daily life We decided to do surgery. The Vet helped put me at ease about making this important decision. Fast forward to day of surgery. All went amazingly well. Because of the care my dog recevied by all staff involved.....receptionist, techs, and Vet my dog is doing very well. I would highly recommend this Veterinary Clinic to anyone who has four-legged fur children/family members!!! They treat them with tender loving care!!!!

I have been taking my cats for care to the Germantown Veterinary Clinic since 1986, when it was a small business next to the Germantown Marc train station. I cannot imagine a better place for cat care. The veterinarians and staff assistants have always provided wonderful care and have also been extremely patient and caring with me when it was time for my cats to pass on. Best veterinary care in the local area!

I was able to get a same day visit when I called for a checkup for my cat. The advice I received and the care that was given to my cat was great. Upon checkout, the staff was incredibly kind and generous to my two sons making them both quite happy. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone I know in need of pet care!

Our Ernie dog, who has moderate separation anxiety, stayed for his first overnight boarding, and he did fantastic! The following day, when I picked him up, he wasn't even "clingy".

Ernie has come here for all of his healthcare since I got him. He completed basic puppy training with Paula, and more recently, has stayed for a few hours every couple of weeks or so in doggy daycare, with the hopes that this would help him cope with staying overnight at some point in the future.

I can't express what a joy it is to know that he have a "sleepover" without a total meltdown, and would like to say a special thanks to Mary and Deanna who were his main caregivers during his stay!

Everyone is always friendly, polite and professional. The staff always makes me feel like they are as concerned with my Dogs health as I am.

Stay away from Germantown Veterinary Clinic. This place is highly overpriced. I got duplicate physical exams for my dog just in 2 months without informing me. I was forced to pay for unnecessary checkup, and they were very rude during the charge disagreement process.
Later, with comparisons to other vets, not only unnecessary charges, I found that I over paid a lot.

My family has been using Germantown Vet for many years now. I've since moved to Arlington, VA but this place and the people are so good that I go out of my way to continue bringing my dog here.

I also use their boarding when I travel or vacation.

Germantown Vet has cared for our dogs for over 13 years. The staff is always amazing and the doctors are excellent. Whenever we walk in, our dog is greeted by name and with a friendly smile (think Norm walking in to Cheers). In addition to exceptional medical care, we have been very happy with their boarding services and with their puppy training class. Dr. Tidd, Dr. Eastep, Paula, and everyone else at Germantown Vet are top notch and we would not think of taking our dog anywhere else.

If you live anywhere near Germantown this is the clinic for you! Whenever we arrive for an appointment my dog is always enthusiastically greeted by name. The staff all seem to genuinely care for her well-being and I am completely comfortable with all of their work and suggestions. Do yourself a favor and take your dog here, you won't regret it!

I adopted my cat, Strudel, one year ago. This was her first visit to a vet (other than being spayed).

The tech, Elvis, prepared her and he was gentle and caring. I have seen techs at other Veterinary clinics that I was ready to beat up because they had terrible attitudes and had absolutely no business being anywhere NEAR an animal. Elvis got Strudel as calm as humanly possible before the doctor came in. She was also caring and gentle. Strudel behaved admirably during the visit (because she had no place to run to), took her shot like a trooper, and didn't make a sound on the way home. She was mad at me for about a month.

I am so grateful for Vet clinics like the Germantown Veterinary Clinic.

The vets and staff genuinely care about the animals, and they are incredibly compassionate.

Continuing care for my aging Polish Lowland Sheepdog is truly excellent. I am especially grateful for the care they give her when she boards there. I can (reluctantly) go out of town and know she is in great hands. The staff is always helpful and supportive and the vets are all terrific.

I took my puppy Bailey in this morning for his first appointment and it was a great curbside experience. The Vet tech Yona and Dr. Eastep were both super friendly and I loved how thorough they were with explaining everything to me. Thumbs up all around. Definitely recommend this practice!!

We've been going to Germantown Vet. for decades. We love the staff, but our dogs love them even more (especially when we go away on a trip and board them). We always know they are in safe hands.

We recently adopted a new shelter dog who came in from an abusive hoarding situation. He is a 12 ish year old pug with a few serious chronic medical issues. The issues and a treatment plan has been identified and put into place right away which should allow this little pug to enjoy a normal life span with vision and an ability to walk and have fun with our other 3 pugs and a yorkie. Germantown Vet is the best place to go for quality medical advice and treatment. I cannot think of a better place to visit. We will of course continue our business relationship with pleasure. Should anyone be in doubt, give them a try because one visit and you will understand why we feel they are as competent as they are.

We are relatively new to the area and needed to find a vet as good as the one we left. Germantown Veterinary Clinic is just as good as our old vet if not better. Every single member of the staff is friendly and welcomes us by name every time we come in. Our two Boston Terriers love it there.

Everyone at GVC is overwhelmingly nice to our sweet pup. It really is amazing and she loves going in every single time!

Our dog unexpectedly passed away this past Saturday, after an appointment with Germantown Vet. We frantically called the office after hours and there was no emergency contact. We sent an email and received no response back. Received a call from them Monday morning, I explained to them that our dog had passed away on Saturday. First thing out of the representatives mouth was about the remaining commitment financially related to the Wellness plan. Last thing I wanted to hear, absolutely no compassion. Would not recommend this overpriced, insensitive place to anyone. There are better options.

The people are the nicest and very compassionate about animals. Dr Eastep is my favorite( but everyone is great)
Most recently she helped us with our cats cancer diagnosis and created a peacefull passing. Can t say enough good things about this practice!

My dog and cats have been Germantown Veterinary Clinic patients for approximately 12 years. I can honestly say that the professionalism, kindness and friendliness of the staff are superb. Every visit to the Clinic (whether "regular" or "sick") has been positive. I"ve always come away knowing that our animals are receiving top notch care. During this period we had to make the decision to have two of our kitties euthanized. In both cases staff provided loving care (to both kitties and humans). We were allowed to remain with the kitties before, during the entire procedure as well as afterwards taking the time we needed to say our goodbyes (for now).

(If I have one complaint it is that Paula no longer works full-time. I have missed her).

Being new to the community, I had to find a new vet for my fur-babies. I was hesitant, especially due to COVID. I read reviews and decided to try Germantown Veterinary. SO GLAD I did! My baby was seen on time, even though visits have changed due to this pandemic. Courtney stood in the parking lot with me at least 20 minutes before taking Cassius (my Frenchie) to examine, asking questions, getting back medical history, explaining things to me I didn't understand and she isn't even the doctor! Cassius has allergies and skin issues. I have had him to 3 other vets and NONE of them offered any treatment other than forking out money and nothing ever worked! Dr. Rizol recommended several things to try. Cassius has only seen her 1 time and his skin looks better than it ever has! She discussed my baby's examination over the phone, offered different treatments, explained in detail, kept asking if I had any other questions and I never once felt rushed, or felt I have to shell out a lot of money to help him. They are AWESOME! I have already scheduled an appointment for my other fur-baby and this will definitely be their new veterinary clinic!!!

We've been clients for 12 years and although we live in Silver Spring, it's worth the drive for our pets to be Germantown Pets patients. We generally see Dr. Becky Rizol but all the doctors are wonderful. They LISTEN, they are patient and comfortable with our dogs and they dogs trust them and we do too. That's important. Their pricing is fair and transparent. We just wouldn't go anywhere else. We love this practice.

We visited the clinic this week and our experience was very good. The technician as well as the vet were professional and polite. The service was timely and the entire experience was stress free.

I have been coming to this vet for many years! They are the best. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain procedures and give you an estimate of the cost beforehand. I live in Silver Spring now and still come here because they are so wonderful.

An excellent, full-service veterinary practice. Everyone is first-rate, from vets to techs to office staff...always friendly and helpful. They do a lot of lab tests in house so you get results quickly; vets often call personally to follow up on test results, and techs call to check on your beloved pet after treatment. They also have a very good wellness plan. I highly recommend them. We have been going there since 2008.

I am very disappointed with the service we received. Last week I took our 7 month old pup because both her eyes suddenly started bulging out of her head and were red. Mind you we are not first time patients. We saw Dr. Eastep. She immediately said she wanted to do a glaucoma test i asked if that was common in a 7 month old pup she said no but to rule out the worst case scenario as well as a stain test to see if she had scratched both her eyes. They quoted me for both. When they came back they both were negative. She said her and the other vets were baffled, they weren't sure what it was. The tech even said they were just guessing. So I asked to speak to the doctor again and she said it could be bacterial, an infection, but that she didn't really know. I was and am still frustrated. She prescribed some drops that were more expensive than the stain test and said to use these and if they didn't help to go to a specialists. Its been 4 full days and no change, just made an appointment with the specialists and it will cost $200 for the consultation and for the same test that the vet already did.. glaucoma and stain test!!! WHY did the vet do these test if she is not a specialists to then send me to a specialists who does them? I AM BEYOND upset, called the office today and the manager no one else can help me until she is back.

My cat was a new patient. He had trouble breathing and was seen right away. With a lot of attention and tact, we were prepared for the worst. But he is okay now, the medicine is helping his old heart and we are hoping to hang around for a while and visit them again for the regular check up.

I receive emails from the clinic frequently and I might have missed it but I think you should be told in advance if you will be seeing a new doctor. I understand doctors will change in the practice but I would like to know that in advance. It should be announced in their email or at least be advised of the new doctor when making the appointment.

Clean, neat, spacious waiting room and exam rooms - we have been several times and are always seen on time even if the office is very busy. Cost is the word on everyone's mind, and they are up-front about everything. No one tried to 'upsell' us or pressure us about anything, and the prices are reasonable (not to mention they have awesome monthly payment plans in place for wellness and dental). The Vet (shout out to Dr. Rizol!), Techs, and office staff are friendly, polite, and professional, and always patiently answer all our questions - we never feel rushed. Our big dog just had a great weekend stay in the kennels, and we will definitely be back for all our vet and kennel needs! The VitusVet app is a GREAT tool, too!

I was on the look for a vet that didn t overcharge for a dental cleaning but still did a good job. I found that with Germantown Veterinary Clinic! They did a great job with my dog for his blood work and the day of the dental cleaning everything went smoothly. I was notified of everything and pricing was transparent. All of the staff was really nice and knowledgeable. Thank you to Dr. Eastep for noticing my dog has an allergy and recommending medicine that works!
