They need wifi, for 700-1100/yr I should be able to get wifi like we used to. Absolutely ridiculous.

A pool for all ages, skills and disciplines. Many different activities.

Not so good at enforcing 6 foot distancing. Staff didn't seem to care

the parking here is absolutely horrific but the amenities are great and clean.

Wonderful swimming facility with nice heated pool for little ones. We weren't allowed to use the pool noodles though, and floating devices were only allowed in the main pool area

Arena review, specifically: Cold for spectators, heaters weren't working. Nice arenas. Bit strange of a setup.

Great facility, though parking is crowded and there are a lot of people in the pool area on days with kids swimming lessons.

We like it up here as a family. They could however use some updating hence the 4 stars.

The design and looks are reminiscent of a much older facility. The activities (climbing wall, diving board, rope swing) are cycled on for about fifteen minutes each because they are all crammed into the dive tank. The waterslide closes seemingly randomly (could be a staffing issue, I didn't ask) and the pools are some of the coldest I've ever been in, barring the Atlantic ocean. No, really- the hot tub was packed the whole time we were there. The staff were friendly and the drop in fee wasn't too bad as long as you bring your own lock for the lockers. The changing room showers never get past lukewarm, the pressure will actually hurt in some of them, and there are no benches in the stalls in the ladies.

Basically, if you have a family and don't mind being chilly and power exfoliated, it would be a solid pool to visit. As a fitness swimmer & diving enthusiast, go somewhere else.

Went to buy a gym pass so I handed in my student card (I go to Uvic and i am on a registered work term) one of them takes it and borderline accuses me of having a fake. They then proceed to talk amongst themselves of going for a drink while taking my picture.

Excellent facilities. Great workout area and pools.

The premier fitness facility in Airdrie. Complete with weight room, running track, swimming pool with waterslide, basketball courts, indoor soccer fields, multi-use gymnasium, ice rinks, children's play place and a little food court. Kids can play unsupervised as long as they are over 8 years old, which makes it very easy to hit the gym with the kids entertaining themselves. With an annual family membership costing just over $1000 and payment plans available, it's a no brainer to take advantage of everything this facility has to offer.

the workout center is decent but requires updating. music being played in the center is terrible

PlumBlossum Tai Chi, with Peggy, was very inspirational. It will take me a couple or few months to get my balance, energy & movements in coordination but I'm still excited to exercise and train my abilities.

Great place to get physically active! Great for families and family members of all ages. The facility is well maintained and reasonably priced with membership options. This is a must checkout place of your in the Airdrie area and looking to get active

Great equipment, very friendly staff, and cheaper than any other gym in Airdrie. Corporate discount also available, ask at the front desk if they have a group setup for your place of work. You also have access to the entire facility, including pool access not just the gym area

long story short - if you go here make sure that they have enough lifeguards on deck, my daughter was seriously injured!! by two young patrons playing with hard flat floatation devices on January 26 2016 at approx 20:15 time, they didn't have enough lifeguards,

Beautiful recreations facility for the city of Airdrie.

Excellent facility with the full range of fitness and activity options. Great pool facility with fun for the whole family. Numerous programs running year round and daycare facilities available as well.

A lot of fun too take your kids to play. Just make sure you time it right as they are running summer day camps which make the pool extremely busy

Clean, bright and friendly staff. Definitely nothing bad to say! Family lives to swim there. Lots of parking also.

I like to swim here but the change rooms are disappointing because they hardly clean them during the day, in fact I have gotten warts here.

Always love swimming, you normally run into a friend or two lol! Definitely could use some small upgrades or expansions to the aquatic center for it's ever growing community

We have been going to Genesis for 9 years and have always enjoyed the facility, all of the venue's and events. Our use has been the gym, pools, soccer and drop in yoga. In addition to sponsored events like fairs and home shows.

Excellent sports complex. Well maintained and full of activities everyday. Membership prices are reasonable. Annual passes allow for a temporary suspension when not in use which is a great feature.

Nice facility clean. Was at Lifemark which I strongly recomend for Physio. Staff are incredible.

Great facility with lots of indoor activities. Only complaint is on any busy hours there can be a lack of parking available.

Great place to go swimming as a family. Workout gym and other facilities are new, spacious, and well maintained. Buy a pass and go often, drop in fees are expensive.

They need to clean the change room floors otherwise i would give 5 stars but the floor is disgusting

Excellent complex, many options to accommodate most needs in regards to fitness, therapy, relaxation, and most important of all plain old family fun!!!

Have taken the girls here for swim lessons. Travel in from Calgary because water seems warmer and family change rooms and instructors are better. Would have given full stars but lately lessons are being cancelled. Apparently there are no make up classes or refunds for closures due to tech issues or kiddie bio breaks.

Friendly staff, clean facilities and a wide variety of options for family fun. Drop in gym, soccer/basketball, fitness facility, etc. The pool here is warmer than most and they have a nice water slide for the kids too (although if water slides is specifically what you're after and you don't want to drive to WEM, it is even cheaper to drive into NE calgary and take the family to Village Square Leisure Centre).

Love taking the kids here for swimming. Way better then any pool in Calgary. Clean and not overly crowded.

Genesis Place suits us very well. My husband and I enjoy being able to do our normal senior workouts or having the option to do more with fitness staff instruction. Love the swimming and rec area and appreciate clean showers and dressing facilities. Big YES for us!

My children have attended swimming lessons and we have hosted numerous birthday parties here. The customer service is almost always amazing with staff willing to help.

Love this place, the pool is warmer than NE leisure center, not as crowded, they have a slide, lazy river, swimming lessons, climbing rope and then you jump into the water, lane swimming, lifeguard and instructor courses.
They have hockey, basketball, skating, badminton, rent a room, and lots more.
