Massage Envy Spa Jacksonville Beach, Florida Review

After being a member for 3 months I pulled the sheets down to lie on the bedding. There was darks stains in the area where someones ass would be. I told the lady about it and they replaced them immediately. Then the lady whom Ive never tried before was crazy! She was talking to herself about the pain she was putting me through. I was defiantly loose afterwards but there was no relaxation about the experience. After they found out about that stains the called an offered a free 30 minutes. So a week passed and I start getting red bumps over me. I went to a dermatologist and it was scabies! I called them and complained and ask for a refund of every session because the meds to treat scabies is 80 bucks a tube plus washing everything in your house daily! They refunded one month and canceled my membership. Things I told the manager is if the people who clean their sheets are doing the correct job then any stains like the one I saw should come out. So I think there sheets are poorly being washed and the massage people aren't washing their arms and hands after every session. I highly recommend inspecting whom ever touches you there arms and hands for red bumps and always look at your sheets before laying down in this place. I will never go back to this place theres to many people in and out and they don't give their massage people time to throughly clean their-self between massages. Gross!

Over the years I have traveled the country and been to several of your massage envy's today I visited the 3rd street store and my masseuse was Michelle. My experience with her was very top notch and I thought it would be different and it was . Thank you to the staff at the front desk and michell just well done you got it..

Great experience, super friendly staff; I had Ron as a massage therapist and when I left my my was free of knots. He was fantastic. Membership makes sense if you get massages as least once a month.

My experience with this ME has been very positive overall but I don't understand why it becomes so difficult to make a reservation by phone and if you try to make online you can't choose the person you want. I can't imagine the volume at the 1/4 hour is so overwhelming someone can't answer the phone within 2-3 minutes.

I have paid Massage Envy for many years and accrue many hours...was not able to use most of them due to work...they had a glitch in their system, they cancelled my account...and they will not honor all my hours because my account now is cancelled! That is a nice way of stealing money from customers!!!! Way to go Massage Envy!! Now you do not only have lawsuits about sexually abusing customers but you are also thieves!!!!

A lot of the technicians are not intuitive or relaxed. It seems they are right out of school.

not really a spa go-er but a friend dragged me here to unwind for a lil while visiting the scenery and all i can say it was money well spent (not mine lol ) the staff was excellent especially that 60 minute rub down got me feeling loose as a goose usually its the service id review but i was taken by the receptionist crystal or christi off bat, she made me feel extremely comfortable it being my first time but that lemon/lime water really needs some sugar (hence 4 stars) but in all i had a wonderful time and cant wait to visit again next time I'm in town.

you can't get what you want
I was asked my area of complaint, in my case abdomen, gluts and legs, well apparently the gluts abdomen and mid thigh up are off limits. this company is more worried making money than making customers happy. thank goodness it was a gift and not a membership.

Unreasonable demand to cancel membership.

I live near Jax Beach when I enrolled 8 years ago, but have lived an hour away for past 4 years. When I contact ME@ Jax Beach to cancel membership, they are demanding me to drive an hour to Jax Beach just to sign a piece of paper. Only way they will let me cancel via FAX is if I may another monthly payment even thou I have no plan on using ME as member. I had the same fight with this location just to freezing my account.

They also would not let me transfer the account to a location closer to where I live.

This location has great therapists, but management really needs take course on Customer Relation Management!!!

Hook, line, and sinker. They talked me in to signing up for a membership from a gift card I received. Awkward comments made by one therapist made me too uncomofortable to return. No, I never said anything because it was embarassing. Mailed in my cancellation form that they said they never got. So they charged my card to an account I rarely use. NSF fees (annoying because I cancelled -- obviously wasn't expecting anything out of the account). Had to email another cancellation form that they said they don't accept digital signatures but would add it to my file. They refunded half of the cost I was charged, but that's less than half of the actual cost I incured.

Stay away from here if you don't like to be taken advantage of or sexually harrassed.

I have been scheduling appointments with Massage Envy Bi-Weekly for the last two months. I have had a lot of stress in my life from moving and am so glad Massage Envy has been here to help! Really great way to stay on top of stress!

My husband and I have been members at Massage Envy in Jax Beach for years. After Covid, we were hesitant to go back. However, the staff here has done an excellent job cleaning, screening, and being thorough. We are so appreciative of the opportunity to come back to our favorite therapists. Michele G., Tiffany, Brandi, Cashmere, and Mariah are all excellent choices for deep tissue and know what they are doing!

I have tried to cancel my membership multiple times. They say it has been cancelled and then continue to charge me for the next month. They are impossible to get ahold of. Do not go here and definitely do not get the membership here.

It was my 1st time at Massage Envy, and my 1st time to have a male massage therapist; and Carlton was amazing, he was the best. His 15 years of experience were truly displayed , he made you feel comfortable, spoiled and relaxed. He knew what he was doing and his magical skilled hands with the right amount of pressure made my stress disappear.

I have been using Toni for the last 4 massages, I have to say he listens and focuses exactly where needed. I have had shoulder and back problems for a long time, after seeing Toni I have had more relief than I thought I could get with a massage.

I used to work here... Business practices are lousy. The massage therapists gossip about clients including personal life details and the front desk staff are a bunch of rude 20 somethings who think they are God's gift to this earth. (Little hint, they're hung over a lot of the time they're at work so maybe that's why they screw up so much). The management is pretty much absent. They put one of the 20 somethings in charge of the whole store, which means you are SCREWED if you encounter a problem on your visit. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from Massage Envy as a whole. Pretty much all their locations are run the same way and they're ruining the massage industry.

Carol is my savior. I tend to go at least once a week and visit Carol all the time. From deep tissue massage to hot stone i couldn't ask for someone better than Carol!

Catherine did a FANTASTIC job. The BEST massage I ve had ever! She made me feel relaxed. She was all about getting consent which I loved! She finished the massage with a wonderful scalp, face massage. I left happy and planning to return to this location.

Great customer service ( including hot tea and a super relaxing waiting area). Along with an amazing full body massage with Brandi who was my therapist! Thank you all for everything!

If you are in need of a massage or a facial this place is fantastic. Stacie is my favorite if you are going for any skin care needs. Although be warned after your first appointment you will need to get a membership for it to be worth the cost.
