The pool is so over saturated with chlorine, it ruined 2 of our swim suits. The floors in the family change rooms are filthy. Disgusting! Will drive to Calgary for cheaper rates and a better facility.

Arenas are nice, staff is friendly and everything is clean.

Not a bad rec center, parking can be tough, and it's a busy place. Airdrie needs more of these places.

Great pool, clean change rooms, beautiful indoor track

Amazing facility. This was my first time here and I was working a hockey referee camp. The room was perfect, the facilities were exactly what we needed. The folks in Airdrie are lucky to have such a wonderful facility.

I only use this location for indoor soccer and basketball. Soccer fields aren't the greatest in the city and the basketball courts are multi purpose floors which I hate.

Best place in town for kids Hockey. The viewing area for swimming on the main floor is tiny. The upstairs is a bit better but with kids ripping around and screaming like they're in a gym you usually leave with a headache.

Excellent recreation centre. Lots of different sport facilities. Very clean and well maintained.

The pools are nice and warm. Change room are clean. We drive from Calgary to go there.

I understand we are in a pandemic right now. But was the staff told to be unfriendly and make less eye contact with the visitors?
About a friendly wave to my kids or a hello ?
The place is amazing and very accommodating for us and it s a privilege to be able to come and swim.
I m thankful for this opportunity but the folks working there could make things a little less stressful.

not a good place to take your children. there are rebellious low life red neck children who smoke pot and use vaporizing pens to young. there is sexual intercource in the soccer change rooms. i walked in to take my kids to swimming lessons and there was two teenaged boys beating each other. the food taste like bum hole. TAKE UR KIDS TO CALGARY

Clean , great staff and have developed great friendships with a number of patrons.

Very clean change rooms and plenty of lanes in the swimming pool. I find the temperature of water and air to be perfect! Not too warm when swimming lengths and not too cold either. The fitness centre is also very nice with a good amount of space.

The hot tub could be warmer though, and the climbing wall in the pool seems to never be open!

Everything is good. Good ice. Mediocre dressing rooms, and you can't hear stands.

Parking at this facility is a concern - not enough stalls for all the different facilities

My daughter and I go swimming every Monday here but it seems to be getting worse. Some staff are rude, the pool is so dirty, and the change rooms are disgusting. I had to get out after 10 minutes of swimming cuz I felt so gross swimming in filth. I even felt a warm spot after a kid swam past me! And this place is full of children just imagine how many of them pee in the water!

I have rated two stars because of the customer service received at the front desk. I was asking questions related to facility rentals and confronted an employee in charge of the rentals. She was very snobby about my questions, I believe her name was Malissa.

On Another Note:
I use Genesis Place all the time for working out and staying fit, great place to be. Clean and really nice staff in the workout center.

Reading some of these im guessing theres more issues with the people swimming than the pool itself

Not a 5 star hotel, they dont have servants in the change rooms picking up after people

If theres diapers and garbage in the change room maybe write a review about the people swimming there and how they should better place where they put their dirty diapers, its a rec center that employs teenagers as lifeguards, get a membership at a country club if you feel the need to be more important

Moving so old people can learn to swim, lol, not sure thats something i have any room in my head for to be bothered by

Been here many times with my kids swimming, never an issue, never even looked for diapers, and hair unfortunately falls out of peoples heads, i would however recommend not eating off of the floor if hair bothers you, eating before swimming causes cramping anyway so i guess that wont be a concern....

One more thing, 4 hours in a public pool, how many times did you get out to take a piss?? Lol...didnt bring that part up...

Great place for swimming!! My kids having so much fun!!! And plus it's very close to our house!!

Busy during lessons and family change room is small. Otherwise really like having this facility in town.

I appreciated the ability to sign up for pool time. Lifeguards were very attentive, plan to go back again soon.

Very freindly and approachable staffLots of different things to do, plenty of equipment in the gym, nice pool, would like to see a squash/ raquetball court though

Brand new facility that's high quality for Airdrie. The gym is a little small but has everything for all types of athletes. Prices are fair. If you're looking for personal training as general weight loss they can serve you but there's not much specialty talent on staff.

I love this place!!!! I trained in the gymnastics center for 5 years it's a wonderful place and has amazing staff and volunteers. They have many facilities such as a pool with a lazy river huge pool , hot tub,dive tank and a race pool , indoor soccer field,hockey rinks and lots more. I recommend this place for anyone.

Clean facility, good parking,easy access from highway. Amazing facility something for everyone.

Great place to take the kids swimming! Their family rate is very reasonable and staff are helpful and friendly. We live in the city and travel all the way to Airdrie just to go swimming ... that says something!

Went here for Grandsons 6th Birthday Party was a very nice facility

The place is great as a stand alone, not very functional for such a large community. Not a lot of options for working out before work.

The facilities are simply amazing, and 99% of the staff we encountered on our only visit were astonishing with respect to customer service. The cost

On our visit my son had been riding the slide for over two hours. An incredibly friendly lady (staff member, and I wish I had asked her name) had been checking my son and letting him use the slide (dozens of times). Sometime during our visit the staff member changed to an extremely young girl who called herself "Taryn". Suddenly my boy was no longer allowed to use the slide that he had been using ALL afternoon. Obviously he was extremely confused and upset. When I talked to this girl, she only bad mouthed the other staff members, accusing them of having flawed testing methods. This slide moves at a crawl speed. This teenage girl that they have hired has absolutely no common sense, they have hired a child to lifeguard your children.

Lots of different activities for all ages and plenty of parking for large events.

Great place to watch hockey games nice seating in arena .

Great facility. Good place to hold children's birthday parties. Staff are VERY helpful with setup and they do the post party cleanup.

I'm 71 with arthritis everywhere and swam for the first time since close down this a.m. warm leisure pool, sparkling locker room and smiling staff made my day. Thank you thank you thank you.

I have mainly been using the fitness gym and it's very well equipped. There are free weights stations as well as machines. Treadmills and Ellipticals are adequate. The swimming pool is okay as well as the basketball courts. Overall, a very nice facility here in Airdrie.

Too many headscarf, face vail. It is against Canadian values. Specially on Friday.

I love this place. The staff is always friendly however the change rooms usually have a stench about them. Definitely bring flip flops for in the shower areas.

Disgusting!!! There ladies Change room smells like piss! it always smells so gross in there. they NEVER clean the females change room. always gunk in there. we went swimming for 4 hours one day and there was toilet paper and diapers every where and when we finished swimming after it was all still there. hair, toilet paper, diapers, tampon wrappers. they don't clean a single thing!!!! if you can't clean it can you get some air vent to get rid of the smell or something??? Then we go swimming on a Thursday for the adult night and we get kicked aside so a random class of 5 adults can learn to swim. is there not a tank or a lane pool for that?? THEN we get kicked out of the deep end because people want to kayak? the lane pool was empty. the tank was empty which they closed so we couldn't even go diving or play on the climbing wall. they dont even let us use noodles in the pool. we had to leave after 4 of us paid to get in??? Such a disappointment and a waste of our money. the pool is always dirty at the bottom and the hot tub always has brown gunk in the corners along the edge.

Too bad it doesn't have a lounge or coffee place by the rinks

We've only used the pools which are clean, warm, anf not crowded.

Facilities lovely but due to harassment from a lifeguard named Angela will not return. Understandably with covid there are rules and regulations about social distancing but she decided to harass us when other people broke our space when there were clear avenues around us. Will never return and will not recommend.

Pop machines empty men's bathroom smells fries on the floor. Like watching my kid play there but it needs to be cleaner. Employs should be walking around with ear buds on either.

Excellent place to work out. Best childcare staff who take care of my little ones so well. Membership includes track, gym, pool and family activities. My toddler loves the family track time

Not a bad facility but needs better security as lockers are constantly broken into. They need a locker room attendant or at least someone patrolling the areas.
