Exciting place to spent the night and return anytime you wish. Very close to Hamburg central Train Station

The only good thing was the central location of the hostel and the free Wi-Fi. The rooms are too small, you can only climb from the front to bed! The bathroom is clean, but mini small. You really should not be overweight, our toilet in the caravan is not smaller!

Price-quality wise a good and decent hostel. Centrally located, next to the ZOB and Hauptbahnhof Hamburg.
Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable but a bit short (I'm 1.93). Bathroom and shower cabins are extremely tiny though.

Highly recommended. It is clean and very central. Only the bathroom is clean like on a train or plane.

Location is very convenient, right across the street from the train station, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. But the street outside is very loud at night (all night), so I recommend earplugs.

Super Hostel. There are bigger and smaller rooms. Shower and Toliette was also in the room. In the morning you can also have breakfast is delicious and there is enough choice.
Internet is not the fastest but you should not expect, many are at once in the Wlan. Password is changed every week, but still on SSL and no payments over the net press for security.

Very limited room and bath size, no window in the bathroom. Slow elevator, because you can rather take the stairs. Duschvprhang has discolored at the bottom hem. Short beds, but very comfortable. The variety of the breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired.

Went to Germany and went there straight away, the place looked clean and welcoming.
On my second stay I was tired, bitter and late, so what happened I went there once again and Anita gave me probably the warmest welcome with a smile, gave me the options suggested me the upgrade to have a good night, she spent the right amount of time with me giving me top quality service.
I liked my room, it was clean and comfortable in both occasion, I had the chance to see the cleaners and they worked fast.

The room was fine but the shower was way too high and poorly located. It did not come with soap or scarves, which is quite shabby and the breakfast was cold and there was little selection. Don't buy it

Good for what it is; a hostel. You get what you pay for.

There are only 8 man rooms, so you have to share rooms with strangers. If you book through other websites than the owner himself, then breakfast is not included

Considering that it is a hostel, the quality and cleanliness are incredibly high. The rooms are very soundproof and it is difficult to hear that you live out to a busy road and the Central Station.

Blood on the shelf in the first room, when we got a new one, we found immediately stains on mattress and pillows, as well as dark hair everywhere, the bathrooms are worse than some campsites and our window pointed directly to a wall, so it was dark , And the TV did not work properly. Just do not forget drinks or items like Zahmpasta etc. the rooms are cheap but nothing else there. I will never go there again.

It's good overall but needs work with the Elevators. They're extremely slow and have problems functioning sometimes

Exactly to my taste!
No bourgeois hotel in the suit wearers and no ladies with fur collars. Relaxed atmosphere with mixed guests from all over the world. Staff is also relaxed. And for security and tranquility, the security pulls.

The hotel itself has a very good location right next to the train station.
Unfortunately it was very cold in the rooms and the windows were not properly sealed.
The staff was very friendly and helped quickly, the rooms were well kept and clean.
WLAN did not work, we had to sign up for 5 minutes.
If this thing could still be fixed we would give 4 stars.

Ps: You usually have to put the keycards in 10 times to get into the room.

Great location near the center, in front of the bus station and 2 minutes from the train station. WiFi works fine. They are nice. Bar a bit expensive but big. There is beer for 3 euros.

It's a great and incredible place to stay the night. Bathrooms are a bit small but it works and amazingly.

I really liked the place. The clean rooms as well as the hygienic services. The bar was somewhat muted but everything else very good.

Good clean hotel in a great location for trains around the city

The hostel is well located and the beds are comfortable. However the bathrooms are about the size of an airplane bathroom and there was a weird and terrible smell coming from the hallway. There were also no soap dispensers in the bathroom. However if you are traveling by bus or train you really can't beat the location.

Well located, alive zone, nice hostel in general, good and clean rooms. Contras: the bathroom is weirdly divided and that makes it very uncomfortable to use (at least the one in the room I was) so if you are tall or have a little extra, it s not a good option .
The service is good in general

If you have gone to the army it is the same if the havitation is not double. Also, do not forget anything in the room, you will lose it and you will not be able to recover it, but you will report and hire a German lawyer. It is normal to steal and fuck.

Right on the main station, toilets in the rooms are huge for 6 people, but there is another big one out there, the bed was totally uncomfortable to sleep in and you can tell right when someone comes in the room

Good, central location, with a decent cafe and bar. 24hr reception. Free WiFi and some PCs. Shame there's no self catering facilities, and only 1 shower room per floor on top of the en suites.

I had no problems with my room, it was clean and tidy, and I had a very nice view from the 6th floor.

Hostel right next to the central station. Moderate rooms (noisy and not really clean), small showers. Breakfast is better in the city. The St Georg district is at the hostel; lots of junkies and crime. (our bike unfortunately stolen at the hostel) Furthermore, it is indeed a beautiful city. As far as we are concerned, the hostel is really less than the Generator Berlin.

Style and service are great, but the sanitary cells in the shared rooms are terrible. 2 narrow prefabricated plastic cells for shower and toilet, each with mini sink under a shelf. Even the kids thought that was too small. The relatively soft mattresses are in double-deck racks with LED light and USB charging ports. The high windows can be tilted to air, then you have to live with the night train station. Internally, the soundproofing is good. Safety is also good: fire protection systems, labels, plans, lighting. Access to the room only with keycard. Public areas are modern with clear or black lacquered wood and colorful walls. The breakfast buffet is OK, you are nice. The people at the front desk are relaxed, personable and always helpful. Barrier arm: Doors are wide, labels and colors clearly visible, but the entrance is only accessible via a staircase. Whether there are barrier-free rooms, I do not know.

Not bad for the price, a comfortable enough bed right in front of the train station. However, room cards do not always work, and the door accessing the stairs never opened .. obliged to wait for someone to go down to access his floor. Great location of the hotel. Young and friendly staff. Hamburg good price. Rooms clean but small and very modestly furnished. Bathroom really small. Unfortunately, the hotel could be cleaner but it is given to its inhabitants and that is again due to the lower price. Ideal for sleeping during a business trip but I wouldn't see anything else. I give such a high rating only thanks to the price of staff access to modern technology when ordering a hotel and the ability to speak English. Otherwise it would hardly be 3 *.

Rooms are clean and in order. The bathroom is a plastic wet cell. The breakfast consists of a very manageable selection. The staff is friendly.

Great location for the trains. It's functional hostel if you're staying in an 8 bed dorm for 1 night. The shower was super tiny in our room, think campervan size and you're sharing it with 8 people. The staff weren't particularly helpful or amazing. Mediocre overall.

The showers were so incredibly tight. You could hardly move in there.

It's just a hostel with young people and school classes as a target group. So you should not rate the volume negatively - that's part of it. However, the rooms are not very clean (hair in the sink, bad germ in the shower), the bed has no headboard, the single rooms are super small, in the bathroom there is no hair dryer ...

More like a hotel than hostel if you re looking for atmosphere, but the place is impeccably clean and well run. Perfect for a night in Hamburg when catching an early train the next morning.

My son was there with the class. The rooms were with mold the toilets and shower not clean it smelled in there. The elevator was partly out of business my son with the suitcase to the 7 floor stairs had to take. The breakfast was nothing not even bread, there were only rolls. Really sad so much money paid it was said security would be there from 23 o'clock was not "So never again!

Liked the shared area with computers. It was really convenient. Could be better if there would be (more) rooms for only female. Genarally, I enjoyed a lot for my stay there.

Great location, right next to a subway station so you have the whole city within a short journey. Rooms were good but bathroom didn't lock, or even close actually. Door was broken. Really good bar and restaurant. Friendly staff.

The hostel itself is really cool and modern. The bathroom is really small, which is not a problem, but the shower is very small and I could not stand upright under the shower head with my 1.85m. Another big minus is the cleanliness. In our room were leftovers and cigarette butts on the floor, which certainly did not come from us, since we are both non-smokers.
The breakfast was okay, but not more. There was exactly one sort of bread roll, two kinds of sausage and a sort of cheese.
The people were mostly very friendly and in a good mood.
Due to the location of the hostel you have the advantage that you can get anywhere anytime quickly. Unfortunately, it is very noisy at night and in summer you can not close the window. The window can only be tilted, so you're glad if cool air comes into the room at night.

The location is very close to train station. The booking process for group is fast. Good experience.

Friendly staff, clean building, good location. Would be 4 or 5 stars (as hostels go), except the internet wifi speed was cut to 1 Mbit/sec in the middle of my visit without any notice or recourse. 1Mbit is enough for voice calls but not for video, and most web pages load quite slowly, including ironically, Generator's own welcome page.
