Love the place. the environment. To enter the fortress you need to pay as usual but its worth it. It was huge and few rooms with small windows to look at the scenery outside, you can even climb to the roof and see the beautiful sea and alexandria view. Breathtaking

Qaitbay Castle, a famous castle in Alexandria, is one of the landmarks of Egypt in general. It was ordered by Sultan Qaitbay during the time of his historic visit to Alexandria in the summer of 1477, and he built it for about two years and was visited by Sultan Qaitbai in 1479 after the building of Khalas.

Sultan Qaitbai was one of the greatest sultans of the Mamluk state and the Mamluk state in general ruled Egypt for 28 years from 1468 to 1496.

It's an amazing place. I probably made one of my best photo-shoots here. Right before the sunset when the light was getting dimmer. It wasn't crowded when we got there, I recommend it for shooting people :)
