I was trying to get a quote on my car and this lady literally was trying to push the insurance on me trying to get me to buy it. I told her I would think about it because I wanna have options and she literally kept trying to have me buy the damn insurance. Definitely know what insurance I m not getting!! She then proceeds to say I m not trying to frustrate you. How are you not when you keep trying to push it onto me. I ve called other places and they never once tried to pushed it onto me like her. Very bad service, if only I remembered her name, I would report her.

Wow I'm not sure what this first guy was talking about. I called for a quote; everyone was on the phones. I received a call back within 5 minutes. The customer services was unbelievable; very thorough and I got the best rate that I have ever had. Since starting the policy I am able to get thru immediately every time I call and always able to speak to my agent. I've also visited the office several times and was very impressed with everyone. I would never go anywhere else.

First, In case of an accident, whether by your fault or not, they make you sign the papers by force in order to pay you for your car repairment or recovery. What happened in my case, I was not at fault when the accident happened, but, they forced me to sign the paperwork indicating I was at fault. I had no other option because Geico was my only auto insurance company. They said, if I don t sign the paper works, they will not pay for the damage. Therefore, I signed the paperwork and received an amount for the damage but later on they tripled my monthly payment which was unacceptable at all. Now, because of their last high quote from them and because they recorded me as I was at fault, no any other company is giving me a discounted coverage price.
I was a victim in Geico! I urge you guys not to select this cheap company! They promise you a lot in the beginning but they provide you nothing! I had a full coverage insurance with them which means everything is covered. However, they did not provide me anything. They didnt even provide me the rental car during the time my car was under inspection.
Please guys, don t be the next victim and don t trust this company. Because, such cheap companies are sucking the blood of poor people and in return, when people are in serious need, they provide nothing but a headache.

They were supposed to send me a copy of my policy, haven't gotten it yet. Someone working on the claim for me called Tues. about 5pm I was driving and asked him to call back in 10min.that was 5 days ago

I was with them for years, and when I needed them after an accident, they did everything fast and accurate. Customer service was impressive. I've had quite a few car insurances and for me, customer service makes or breaks the company. I didn't leave Geico because of their service, I left because of their rates. They more than doubled my insurance when they found out I had a violation on my record from 2 years prior. Why did they wait 2 years? I don't know. Why did they increase it by more then double my previous rate, I don't know. They also told me I would be getting a 25.00 refund in the mail because I cancelled my policy before the period was up. yeah, never got that. Would I recommend them? If you don't have any blemishes on your driving record, yes, if you do, no. Go find some small company that doesn't charge that much, drive carefully, and when your record is clear, go to Geico. Being honest. And don't skim on coverage. If you can afford it, get it. You could regret it. Its best to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I went -$158 just a day after and was able to cover the transaction just barely. I don't mind paying this overpriced premium but I hate being messed with. Going to be switching soon. The first red flag that I should have seen was that they will only do 6 month terms for auto insurance. The second red flag should have been that it costs just as much for 11 months of coverage with AAA. When I had my insurance paid through the month of June they tried to charge me again in July. The agent on the phone was rude, condescending and extremely unhelpful when it came to mitigating this issue. Dont let the cute little Gecko fool you, these guys are shysters and want nothing more than your hard earned cash. A great example of this would be their mileage reporting scheme (which no other agency that I have used has ever done.). I ride my bike to work most of the time and put less than 900 miles on my car last year. They will jack up your rates and make you fax them a mileage report to fill out. AAA, State Farm, Progressive have all never done that to me. Geico are dishonest, misleading, uncaring and just want your money. STAY AWAY

Very dissapointed in this company. We pay for roadside assistance and the two times we needed the service they could never find a tow company to work with them. After finally getting one company (on our own) we asked why they wouldn't accept payment from Geico and they stated it was because Geico literally takes months before paying a provider and sometimes even longer due to their paper work. Last night my wife's car died on her on the freeway, when we called roadside it was the same story. The representative told us they could "probably" get a provider but not till after 8am and to just leave the vehicle there. Today we are switching to a different company.

These guys are supposed to help me and I'm paying premium for full coverage on several cars I've had these guys for several years period around 8 years or longer. Now they treat me like s***. They don't care. Talk down to me. No help. Expect me to go down theand . And pay the tow yard. And then sometime later they'll pay me back. I don't think so. They need to handle it. The car was recovered and is in a tow yard. The tow yard was helpful, actually Sacramento Police Department was helpful. But my insurance company is give me the run-around expecting me to pay stuff up front before they do anything .a joke. I'm the victim here and I'm being treated as a criminal. I switched to Geico from state farm because the rates were lower and the coverage was better. However, without making any claims or tickets etc, my auto policies have gone up 40% in 1.5 years and my umbrella policy has gone up 25%!!! I think they initially give you low rates to have you switch, then hike the rates up and hope you don't notice. I called them and their explanation is that California has a lot of claims so the prices have gone up. I'm switching to another company... this is a horrible way do business.
