It's very expensive to talk ( 13 for cars), but this is offset by the fact that you are going to spend two minutes instead of almost half an hour on the ferry, with the entire boarding and disembarkation process. It's all weather.

A bridge about 3km connecting the Peloponnese with the continent, very beautiful and picturesque. Walking and cycling for free, traveling by car is over 13 euros.
We crossed bellow windsailing at 18/20 knts from East to West staying below the yellow mark and leaving the first pillar at our right side. We didn't feel much current.
Unforgettable experience !!! As I was returning from Zakynthos to Thessaloniki .... by ferry boat ... I got confused and took the direction to Patras again ... !!! Ok calm down I will stop asking How can I go back without crossing the bridge again! Clearly safe !!! I was perfectly served by the service at the tolls by phone ... we agreed, they stopped the traffic, they opened a return access and they gave me a signal for reversal, completely controlled !!! So I escaped the hassle + the tolls for two + his time was gone come !!!! Thank you very much Congratulations on the service !!!
A miracle of engineering that is worth it to visit since there is no way to grasp its size differently. Of course the price of passage is particularly high, not so much for the visitor to one but for those who have to face it everyday. Remember that you can make another non-payment within 3 hours. Alternatively, the ferry boat or pedestrian is completely FREE for FREE!
At the time of opening, the Rion-Antirion Bridge was the world's longest cable-stayed bridge. The idea of building this bridge arose in the 19th century. It was put into service in 2004, just before the opening of the Athens Olympics. It was built in very difficult conditions because it is a place where strong earthquakes occur, very strong winds blow, the sea bottom is unstable and the depth reaches 65 meters. The bridge pillars should also withstand the impact of a tanker. The total length of the bridge is 2452 m - Rion-Antirion bridge was at time opening the world's longest cable-stayed bridge. The most beautiful bridge in Greece. This futuristic project connects the Peloponnese with mainland Greece. Architectural jewel suitable for the surrounding environment.
