Child and Family Services Ballarat Review

Very good experience with most area's of service here, even though I am not your most legit appearing Father o have a rough and hardened look n way about me and workers who handled my matter knew of my chequered and colorful past police records and prior charges and drug world n taking of drug in my history the were not judgmental or anything of that nature I treated case workers n other staff also the area n its content which I was given to use with respect n care due to cafs giving me oputunity to see n have meaningful time v contact with my son 1,1,/2yr old together with my 3yr old girl who that lives with me as a single father arrangement my girl n l had a good amount of dates which was given head of time, I took every Dats offered And used it to see my son n allow both kids to play as siblings this WS in a time when family. Court was happening and it was a stressed n uncomfortable part of life for more than 15 months they didn't take side's or push for details unesasary to the function of the visits to bond with my son a near stranger at 1st due to relationship issues with kids mother n his age only 1,1/2 yes it worked in putting in place a service that gave me the means to start build/rebuilding a relationship with my son n bro n sis to get to learn how 2be family in a soft n gentle environment.. Good service that I recommend to all who may have or need to use this service. I will add many accusations n negative thing were being made about me as a parent and type of person I was and my abuse of substance n drink also my compacity as a sole patent at the time of my arrangement's at Ballarat cafs they handled a delicate situation with respect n consideration for what may be false or attempts to incriminating me n my attempts to deal with the matters relating to my stand off like situation with many accusations n chances of trouble or drama arising. Cafs did good by me ,,,_ ,110% every way possibly I could think of. Thanks for your in un judgemental n professional handling of my matter... You do a awesome service too the community that needs you badly... Cheers happy n clean n out of trouble single dad getting on with life n parenthood

No stars if I could, the lady Lauren is a horrible woman and should never work with families with her attitude, I am not sure if it's because she is pregnant and hormonal or what but she is heavily biased against men with mental disabilities and stubborn to boot, news flash lady not every male you meet is out to get you.

This is been the worst experience we have had with a family service, we will not be contacting you or recommending you ever again.

PS: anyone reading this in ballarat should try mind@home for mental health help, they have been wonderful for my family :)

Once we had our housing support officer assigned to us within a month we had a place to live :)

Not real good for any thing no help at all i tried contacting them about vcat and have not got any responds lucky i have good family to help me out i be fine i got little saved i put deposit on a house sad i try and be nice to people and all you people do is spit on me.

Amazing workers here who take your past into consideration and totally try their hardest to help you reach your goals.
