A place worth visiting, especially the famous sunroof

I love this place! Theater with history and soul! For me, it is a gem among Tri-City theaters!

Resurrected unexpectedly after years in the same place, in many respects it exceeds expectations!
You should definitely visit it - for a spectacle, concert, other event or at least for a guided tour.

We were part of the Georgian Week at the Georgian Evening, "devoted to tasting Georgian specialties and wine, along with a lecture on traditional wine production methods, with jazz rhythms" ... (2015)
The event is for free, what's worse is not ticketed. All in all I expected it to be bad but that it wasn't that bad ...
Wild crowd, you can't see anything unless you are in the first place (e.g. when presenting how to do Khinkali). I wonder what the Fire Brigade says because in my eye all safety regulations have been broken.

Director Limon, who appeared personally, seemed absolutely delighted - I wonder what? We entered the mill after 20 minutes.

A free event does not mean that it is let in, it is not these times ...

A beautiful, atmospheric and at the same time modern place where architecture meets art. The building inside makes an unforgettable experience. The raised roof is breathtaking. Watching the performance, the viewer has the impression as if he were part of the art. I recommend you go with your family.

The unique climate. The smell of wood. An interesting lump.

Cinema for Shakespeare. Uncomfortable chairs, every now and then stuttering movie and finally turned off before the end. Wasted money. I do not recommend.

Probably the biggest urban mistake in the city. I read various translations, what "poet-architect" meant when designing a theater building, all lofty and pompous, but it suits the architecture of the Old Town in the same way as an elephant in a porcelain shop

An interesting place worth visiting and watching art

They will maintain a modern building with a theater room in the style of the theater from the 16th century. You can also quickly and easily transform the room into an Italian style theater. The building has an opening roof. In the summer, the Shakespeare festival takes place there.

The building modeled on London's The Globe- but modern, functional. Opportunity to buy cheap tickets. In the repertoire, such gems as "How you like it", directed by Krystyna Janda. The theater stands in the place of the non-existent synagogue.

The creator of this Theater, the man who gave the Theater his thoughts, hands and heart is Professor Jerzy Limon. He created a unique scene that lives and emanates. It's worth coming here. Bywajmy.

Interesting place, close to the station. Has potential but no funds. Committed staff.

There are many interesting things happening here. Unfortunately, when it comes to technical support of the stage, there is a big problem. Another concert where the artist has a problem and waits until someone deigns to come and help. Other halls / clubs deal with it much better.
The theater itself is an architectural curiosity due to the opening roof.

Beautiful and valuable theater. A wonderful tribute to architecture for one of the greatest writers of all time. The building itself unites in itself the traditional layout of the Elizabethan theater with a modern conference, exhibition and theater space. The theater's repertoire is at a very high level and with a large variety of items. From the production of the world's famous, to experimental and semi-amateur forms.

Several concerts completed here make me write that it is fantastic for this purpose. Of course, if you do not use the lodge - then it is not so colorful ;-)

A very interesting place. Probably the only theater like from Shakespearean times, although built very modern. Being in Gda sk you must see. Tickets for PLN 15. Sometimes you can also find a spectacle.

In the theater I was at a concert. A very atmospheric place. In the third row there was really nothing to complain about. Smells of new and wood. Service very nice and helpful. Acoustics at a high level. Ticket prices quite high (whose concert depends) but it's still worth it.

The architect's fad and the courage of the city authorities. But such instututions need controversy. Minimalist and stylized.

A really contrasting building compared to all the typical buildings of Gdansk. A bit dark, like for a theater .. Inside there is an art gallery, a bar. I was not able to see any representations, but during the visit, many children organized came to the play))

An unusual stage much different from other theaters, interesting performances, a lot of modernity, good acoustics of the performances. In the vestibule it is cold in summer and winter, the audience is much better.

Pl / eng I've only been to an outdoor cinema. I heartily recommend. Safe distance, great sound and image. Wretched crime story super.

The theater mainly exhibits Shakespeare's plays. At the turn of July and August there is even a Shakespeare festival and plays from all over Europe. It's good to hit the art exposed in nice weather, because it can be played at an open roof. It is worth noting that the audience is square and you can watch the scene from the side, it is especially important when performing on the Elizabethan stage. Some also play as part of the Italian scene.

A great place, there is probably no other beautiful and original theater.
