Very clever concept to recreate in style of ancient Italian theatre with audience participation but too many flaws in building,pillars are very large and you can not see around them ,uncomfortable bench seating with limited cushions,lighting in galleries too close to people seated and they get very hot.How ever in summer the roof is opened and lighting is brilliant,outdoor events in summer including cinema up on one roof in open air,exterior of building is subject of personal taste,dark black brick,looks like a mausoleum to me but some people think it's great.It is different and Gdansk is right to be proud of it.

Family theater tours, great activities for children and adults. A great way to familiarize children with how the theater works, what the dressing room looks like, who the patient is ... I definitely recommend it !! :)

This theater is a failure. A small, hopeless hall is more like a lecture hall. Hopeless acoustics, low stage, from which the artists cannot be seen from further rows. I've been to a few performances and only excellent artists and their program was the only advantage of this place.

The Gda sk Shakespeare Theater is a must on the program during your stay in the Tri-City. Unique in every way. During the day, you can enter the walls or visit the entire building with a guide. In the evenings you can see guest performances - the theater does not have its own acting group. Ticket prices very affordable.
The only theater with the open roof. Modern constrution, unic shape of the building, variaty of culture meetings and fantastic panorama from the top roof.
