Took my 2001 Tundra in for servicing, and the mechanic (Troy) was extremely helpful. My old truck is running like new again! They were quick to do the work, and did it efficiently. Would definitely use them again.

Had a battery replaced in January 2020.( was cover...

Had a battery replaced in January 2020.( was covered under 3yr/60k warranty at the time)
Battery died yesterday, called and booked car in.
Was told on phone by the representative that if It turned out to be a bad battery it would be covered as the replacement battery had a 2 year warranty.
Went ahead and dropped off vehicle, was told of a 40.00 charge to test battery. ( would be covered if battery was under warranty which I was told it had 2 years on the phone )
Service advisor told me battery was in poor health and needed replacement. Mentioned to the advisor the lady who booked it said it had the 2 year warranty from install. Was told it only had 90 day warranty. Was told she must not have had all the details but when I booked it I told her it was done last January and the 3yr warranty was over. Not sure what other information she "missed"
Wasted 2.0 hours and 40.00 when I could have replaced the battery myself for cheaper. The advisor did give me 10% off which is appreciated but its just the principle of honoring what is said.
Lesson learned always, always double check if what is said is correct.
As a side note; most auto parts stores check batteries for free. Gateway Toyota might want to look into that. And you don't need to wait 2 hours for a battery battery be tested.

The technician Dillon did awesome work and the turn around time was great, I will recommend this dealership to any of my friends needing a Toyota or some service work done!

I bought a brand new Sienna from Gateway Scion because of the vans reliability rating and safety. I checked all around the vehicle's body and inside the cabin before I drove it home but did not check inside the engine compartment. I should have done so as my family was put at risk everytime we drove the van. I found a 12 inch long mechanic's plier inside my engine compartment. I talked to Doris the service manager and asked her how a plier was left inside my engine compartment. A backup camera was installed from the dealersip before I picked up the van. She said that the mechanic did not use a plier and none of their mechanic is missing a plier. Fine. But how could a mechanic not see a big plier with a red handle when he worked on the cabling of the camera is beyond me. I asked if they did a quality checklist before they pass it to the customer and asked for a copy of the checklist. She said yes but does not have the copy. I never opened the engine compartment to anyone and it was the first time I opened it when I found the pliers while looking for the engine block heater cord.

Also, when I was negotiating the price of the vehicle with the sales manager, he wrote down the price that I told him advertised on your website during the time. He had also shown me bi-weekly payments that I thought was based on that price he wrote down. It turned out that the bi-weekly payments grand total was far more from the selling price that he wrote down. I think it's very tricky and misleading to write down the bi-weekly payments making the customer think that it was based on the selling price written down on the sheet when that selling price does not show at all other added fees which I asked for when I was buying the vehicle.

As someone who once worked for Toyota, and who has been to and serviced at several Toyota locations I don't go anywhere other than Gateway anymore. I think that it's the people that create relationships, go the extra distance, and build trust for every corporation and with this business the buck stops at Doris Eacott. Doris puts the "service" in the "Service Department" at Gateway Toyota. She is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and understands how to make your maintenance experience one you would like to repeat. Doris, thanks for earning my business, you have consistently exceeded my expectations and I appreciate that.

I was heading out of the city on business when my warning lights came on. I stopped at Gateway Toyota to see if someone could help me. I was very pleased that the Assistant Service Manager got me in to have it inspected and had me on the road within 2 hours. This was my first visit to Gateway Toyota and I will recommend this dealership to anyone.

Can't say enough about the service, left a message on chat on a Sunday evening and within 30 mins got a text asking if it would be a good time to call! Fallon was very knowledgeable and professional and had us into a test drive the next day. We continued to be able to have service at times that were convenient to us and Fallon was very patient with us even though we kept changing our minds and test driving different vehicles.
We were also very impressed with Kameel in the finance department. He took the time to to answer our questions and really go over our options in an easy to understand manner. Both Fallon and Kameel made us feel like important customers, not just another number. We would be happy to recommend Gateway Toyota to our friends and family.

In 2002, our friend had just purchased a Toyota and couldn't stop telling us about about the great experience he'd received from a dealership that was called Gateway Toyota. Our then current vehicle was about to fall apart, so we decided to go to Gateway and see what they had. We dealt with a salesman by the name of Bill Bailey, and what a gem he was. He initially gave us his name then left us alone to browse without the usual pressure that one associates with some sales people. After we'd found that " perfect" car, we called him back and completed the deal. It was a great experience and certainly not what we were used to. During the course of bringing our vehicle in for servicing, we met Doris and Troy who worked in the service department. In truth, it is because of these two that we continue to make our purchases from what is now called Gateway/Scion Toyota. These two are like part of our family, and there aren't enough words to describe how they treat us and others ( as we've witnessed). Doris is now the service manager and is still the same person despite the added responsibility. She and Troy are always going the extra mile to make certain that the customer is happy, and there isn't anything they won't take on, including finding us the right salesperson after Bill retired. To date, we've purchased a total of three vehicles from Gateway (Soon to be a 4th), and we'll continue to deal with this business. Although we always ask for Troy, the entire staff are always so helpful and courteous. My hubby and I will always recommend this company to our friends (some have already made purchases in past years), and again, a special shout goes to Doris and Troy. You guys areally the best.

I had a great experience looking for a new vehicle at Gateway Toyota. Abeer was amazing and provided excellent service. I appreciated his honesty throughout the entire process and everything he did to ensure I was provided with the best deal. While I ended up having to purchase the new vehicle at a different dealership due to immediate stock availability (not the dealership's fault as I needed a vehicle in a specific colour that same day), I wish I could have purchased the vehicle from this location. I would highly recommended this location and Abeer to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle as the service far exceeds that of other dealerships. This will be my first and only stop when shopping for my next vehicle.

Very disappointed after buying a used vehicle at t...

Very disappointed after buying a used vehicle at this dealership. I flew from Regina to Edmonton to buy a vehicle because the salesperson promised me it was in "perfect" condition, even using the words "like new" to describe it. When I arrived the vehicle had a broken taillight (which they fixed), a gigantic deep scratch on the side that looks like a key mark (they tried to buff it out with no success), and the paint on the rims was chipping off and looked like trash. I was livid; the condition of the vehicle was not as I was promised. I flew in on my own dime, already taking the time to register and insure the vehicle in Saskatchewan, and now I have the manager trying to explain to me that none of this is really an issue and there's not much he can do about it: it took him far too long to even admit that his salesperson screwed up. I did end up buying the vehicle after they dropped the price a little bit, but I'm still not even sure it'll cover the cost to fix the door. Very unhappy with my experience here. Very unprofessional.

Easy to deal. I Thought picking up our Rav4 was a bit strange, felt like I was an annoyance to the staff. The staff showing me the vehicle made me feel like I was wasting her time and couldn t get through my demo quick enough. And it was quick, definitely felt like they wanted me out of there fast to get to the next customer. Not very professional in my opinion. Otherwise easy to work with and I love my new car.

Terrible, extremely horrible experience, drove 2 hours to buy vehicle from small town, after finalizing prize, came down in morning put number on paper again came noon with wife to finalized deal and boy they changed all number and I end-up wasting my two days loss of my business, energy, money and most precious my time.

Unimpressed with the sales and the guy (Leo) who did the walk around with my wife. She wasmt treated nice at all. We werent told the vehicle had no air conditioning . My wife brought up the concern and the salesperson (Gerry) said he told me that over the phone that it had no airconditoning . Trying to convince (lie to) my wife is unacceptable. The sales manager later approached her and asked "what did you need? " she didnt ask for anyone she just asked for some kind of incentive since she drove a half hour to pick up and find out it it didnt have something that was clearly stated on the ad. " i am happy to unwind the deal and give you your deposit back" was something she did not want to hear. We Ended up buying the vehicle , she dealt with JP which she said was very kind and willing to hear her concerns and do the best he can , on her end , to make her happy. Thank you finance . My wife will be doing a review about you in a minute. (FYI we tried to find the ad on kijji but was told it was deleted and they have no way of finding the kijiji ad)

This was happened to me. During the cold snap in Lloydminster, I thought of plugging my car just to realize i dont have one. I called Zain from dealership and he said he thought I have one. I checked everywhere in my car but i didn't see any, then he said he will call me back and he never did. I called him again after 8 hours, after my whole shift at work but he said he is busy again and he will call me back again, he never called. after 4 days i called him again he was still busy and promised to call be back again, as expected he never called. I called him again and sent me this form. A falsified form. It seemed that i was aware that there was no block heater when i got the car.
Here is a copy and you guys can judge if I am lying. A different colour of the pen in block heater and initial that really look different with what i had. My L and D are written continiously and his is not at all.HE even had and mistake in the first time. He put my initials in a wrong place then erased it.
A very clear scammer in Toyota Gatway.
FYI the intials in block heater is from scammer and the rest are mine. my L and the scammer's L is just so different.

Came for a 48-Point Pre-Purchase Vehicle Inspection, they charged me about $199 tax included. Was promised 1-1hr30mins but ended up waiting for nearly 2 HOURS AND 20 MINUITES. Saw my car being driven quite aggressively along the main road, not sure if it's part of the test to have my tires chirping every turn but wouldn't want to assume they went for a joyride. Customer Service was mediocre and Service Clerk was extremely rude and interrupted me everytime I tried to confirm if a service was included or not, seller of my now owned car car was also being treated poorly... [1/10] DO NOT BLOW YOUR MONEY ON THESE GUYS.

I asked if I could sell my Toyota back to you guys and a lady told me she couldn't do anything for me. Your dealership has got to be the absolute worst I have ever dealt with. From the moment I signed for this truck I have had nothing but hassle from your people, the sales person I was dealing with quit after I signed my papers and never contacted the finance company I was dealing with my truck I traded in for my Tacoma, so I ended up paying for two truck payments that month. Then when I called the loan Dr. or what ever his name is, he told me he was going on vacation the next day and I would have to wait a week until he got back. It wasn't until I asked to speak with the GM that I got anywhere with my problem. Since then I have discovered that your dealership decided to keep my stock tires and rims that I paid for, after I got a lift kit installed with bigger tires and rims. Your receptionists at the front desk are rude, your sales person was incompetent, and every time I bring my truck in for the oil changes that I paid for your people act like there doing me a favor. If I could have it my way I would never have bought this truck for you. Completely unsatisfied, and I tell everybody about my problems every time I get asked " how do you like your Toyota?" Which by the way is about once a week, for the last two years.

Had a conversation on the telephone with a salesman whos name I could not understand. He refused to provide me any information unless I came in to the dealership. I told him I would not be making the trip there without at least the basic info. He became very aggressive and impatient, especially when he didn't understand the model of my car, though I told him at least 3 times. Incredibly bad customer service, won't even be setting foot in this place.

I have dealt with Mike Muir multiple times at Gateway Toyota and previously at Sherwood Park Toyota, I had been a customer of Sherwood Park Toyota for a number of years and with my last vehicle purchase there I dealt with Mike. He was very knowledgeable with the vehicles and when I bought my Rav 4 he was my guy. Soon after my vehicle purchase he moved to Gateway Toyota i have since moved my business over to Gateway so that I could continue dealing with Mike. I have really enjoyed my Rav 4 and i know when its time to buy a new vehicle who I will want to deal with.

I would like to share my experience at this dealer...

I would like to share my experience at this dealership. I got there around 7:55 pm and asked for a salesperson who could assist me, Me and my wife were looking to purchase a brand new Toyota RAV4 2019. The front desk paged for a sales person, after 5-7 minutes of waiting for a salesperson to show up, a salesperson named Michael Dillon showed up. He introduced himself, I mentioned we were looking for a brand new RAV4 2019 Limited trim in white or silver color. He mentions the dealership only has Black color in stock. I showed him their own website and asked why would they show it online if they had none on hand. He gives a very useless explanation for that which didn t even make sense. We didn t make a big fuss about it as I thought maybe he doesn t know the actual reason and plus we were there at the dealership already so we thought maybe he would show us more options, maybe some better ones that are not even online. Then I took a peek in the parking lot and saw silver and white RAV4 in the parking lot along with a few black ones. Michael says oh no I don t see any from here, we would have to factory order them. But I was like there is a white and a silver out there, he goes those are not limited. So I didn t argue on this with him. Then he goes and checks when the next white RAV4 limited would be in and comes back and tells us it would be in stock in the first week of June. He goes, do you want to look at numbers? We said sure. We were interested in leasing this vehicle. He did not ask us any questions at all and it seemed like he had no interest in selling this car to me. He goes this would be your lease amount bi-weekly and we were like this is too high for us, he goes there is nothing I can do about this price. We said okay thank you for your time to which he says thank you for coming in. Like he did not even make ANY effort in maybe asking us what our budget was? Or what we were looking for in a car? Or even say we can work it out for you? NOTHING AT ALL. This was quite surprising to us as we were serious buyers and came with the exact description of the car we were looking for. While we were driving away from the dealership, I was curious to see which trim were the white and silver RAV4s I saw from the dealership. We drive past it and saw that both those vehicles were limited trims. This really made us angry and we rushed back to the dealership. We asked for the sales manager and explained everything to him. He was nice enough to find out about the availability of the white and silver RAV4 limited trims. He said yes they are available and directed us to Gerry Thorne. Gerry was a very kind salesperson, not pushy at all and was willing to help us out. Salespersons like Michael Dillon should not be in sales if this feels like a chore to them.

Edit: Doris called me at 3:03 on 24 Apr. I returned her call at 3:15, left voicemail and my number. I never received a reply.

Long story short, turns out I didn't need pliers. I nailed the filter wrench to my filter. THAT did 'er!

Got my wife's Corolla in for an oil change early Feb when we were super busy with our new baby in the NICU at Grey Nuns. It's due again, and the filter is so damn tight I can't remove it. I've tried several methods, two oil filter cups, the Fram pinchy kind and finally water pump pliers to get the thing apart to no avail. I have now torn the metal casing around the filter I pulled so hard on it. I called service to ask what I should be doing since the car isn't drivable now. The lady's answers were to buy the specialty tool used to remove the filter, but it probably wouldn't work anyways because the filter is deformed and then the solution was for me to tow my car in from near Legal to have them look at it at my expense.

Apart from great customer service, I was glad that the team is not pushy about the sale. Awesome experience and I would definitely recommend to visit Gateway Toyota to others as they provide many extra benefits including car detailing, windshield repair, tire storage etc. with the purchase.

The Sales Representative as well as the Financial Manager are so accomodating. You can ask any questions you want to ask them regarding those vehicles they are selling and they will happily answer all of it and erase any doubts in your mind. Gateway Toyota gets 5 out of 5 from me. I have taken my Corolla to them for years. The service is so good that I convinced my wife to buy a Sienna from them. I plan to buy my next car from them too. The last time I brought my 06 Corolla in to be serviced, they said it would be about an hour. It took them an hour and a half to do the the job so they did the work for free. Plus they washed my car. These people are professionals. Thank you Troy. You and your team are the best.

These guys were great right from the start I took my 2016 Dodge Ram to see what I can do to trade it off I've took my truck to lots of other dealerships especially Dodge they were going to give me nowhere near what Toyota gave me for a buy out .... that was very much appreciated Kyle Johnson my salesman he was very helpful he broke everything down for me no Dickering around this dealership was far from pushy for trying to sell a vehicle I was still undecided with what I was going to do there was no pressure no phone calls back asked me to come down and check out vehicles that's one thing I like I hate being pushed into something kind of like I got pushed into buying my Dodge. But all in all I'm glad I made the switch I highly recommend Gateway Toyota for your next purchase weather at the track SUV or whatever you're looking for great service great people make the switch... thanks Kyle and JP loving the new Tacoma

Very bad customer service bought new car from them with offer of GEM program. Even what is offered free with program they still charged me and once went for oil change after a day I saw oil drops on my driveway called them they fixed it but denied to accept their fault and few months later bought new car because old car started making problem. The Manger of this dealership is very good at talking with you but give me WRONG / INCORRECT information regarding any advice for my car. Be careful check everything after getting service done from them.

My rating is one star because that is the lowest rating. I required an oil change and planned to drop it off mid week. I called ahead before I drove in from Leduc to be sure there was a spot available. When I arrived I was told they were full and was not able to get the oil change.

I drove in Saturday morning, again from Leduc, and was told it was by appointment only. Unfortunately for them I was also going to purchase a set of winter tires and rims for my Tundra at the same time as well as get pricing for a 2014 Rav 4 for my wife.

I'm going to try Sherwood Park Toyota instead. The bar was set low enough by Gateway I am confident my experience there will be much better.

We purchased our new vehicle with Michael Dillon. He was very knowledge, pro-active, responsible. We told him what we were looking for and he found exactly what we asked. With no pressure and patience, he explained every detail. When we picked the new car. We met the owner of the store. He introduced himself and made sure we were very happy and got what we were promised.

We will go to Gateway Toyota and looked for Michael again with not a doubt.

The young man "Mario" was making his very first de...

The young man "Mario" was making his very first delivery of the used RAV4 to us. He was very professional in his demeanour...clean cut and especially...he had a great smile and was cheerful and self-assured...he was going to make this work! He demonstrated a reasonable 'working' knowledge of the vehicle and helped us connect the cellphone to Bluetooth...We wish Mario well and already appreciate that he is an asset to Gateway Toyota. Went for a simple battery swipe. The service rep. ...

Went for a simple battery swipe. The service rep. quoted me $196 but later final bill was $300.
When asked about details, service rep. replied you should sign after reading all minor details
They charged me $75 just for old battery test which was obviously about to fail (what a clear rip off).
Adding to another shock another service rep. said we don t work for free and also said they did an air-bag recall for free. If I am not wrong her name was Zinna. She was aggressive and trying to prove that they charged reasonable for a battery change.
People don t fall prey for these thieves, they try to steal hard earned money.

Anyone looking for Detailing Package
just an advice regarding package.

I went for Ultimate package in summer and thought it will fix some paint issues but I guess I had wrong understanding of whole service

Ulltimate package details read that ***Three-step paint restoration process to address minor paint imperfections*** But very misleading as they dont do any touch ups. So no paint restoration is done. Reasonable cleaning except Vents had dirt in them after paying them 348$. So better save your money.

Just leaving this so other customers should not over expect from this package.

Gave them 2nd chance
Tried their Winter package couple of days ago. They could not provide the milage sticker and wanted me to run and get it. Poor customer service. Even emailing them was useless. Only explanations but not solving the probelm.
Will stay away from them. Wastage of money time and effort.

My husband and I have been Gateway clients for almost 10 years. We keep coming back to Gateway because of the amazing service and respect that we receive each time we walk through the doors. The entire staff at Gateway from the service department to management have always been sincere and respectful in assisting us with what we wanted. This past week we went to the new Gateway location off Ellerslie Road and we were so impressed with the new site! The showroom is huge, bright and very welcoming. Again, we were greeted with a smile and a handshake. Gateway Toyota is great to their loyal clients and are so welcoming to new ones. We have referred all of our friends and family to Gateway and they have the same rave reviews as we do. I strongly recommend stopping in at Gateway Toyota if you are looking for a vehicle - new or used. Neal and the group at Gateway is always ready to assist!

I just purchased a used vehicle from Peter Margiotta at Gateway Toyota and could not be happier with the entire experience.

Peter was great to work with, no pressure at all, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle or wanting to lease. He will take care of you!

Also want to acknowledge the great service at Gateway. First night I had the car one of the xenon headlights stopped working. I called Peter the next morning and he told me to bring the car in and they would take care of it.

Of course I had no appointment, but they took me in right away and not only did they replace the bulb, and these are by no means cheap, but they also washed the car again, one day after I took delivery, and had me on my way in a couple hours.

Great experience, thanks Peter!
