I came in for a last minute service before I took a road trip. John Sheldon checked me in immediately and I did not have to wait long. He is an asset to Gateway Chevrolet with his professionalism and work ethic.

The waiting area was nice. I enjoyed watching actual TV instead of recorded videos but Gateway has to do something about the coffee machine. Bring back the real coffee!

Not very good services. Take too long and multiple visits for just small problems. Only reason i keep bringing my car here is because its under warranty.2nd review I am just updating my review from 3 to 1 star. Worst customer service ever. Paying for a 40000 dollar car that is has been in the shop multiple time. Unreliable cars. Save time and money and buy a honda or toyota. Everytime i travel something happend to this car and then no dealer is available to service your car.they are too busy. Like i dont have a life. Actually i bought this car to be worry free from brake down and then when it happens they easily avoid there commitment to customer. They only consider you when you are buying no waiting time for that uhh.

He was able to provide me with complete details on what was gping to be done to my vehicle and was right on point on when my vehicle was going to be ready. UPDATE 15 JUN 19: Gateway fixed the deflector plate. So I'm editing this review to reflect a three star rating. Shouldve been done right the first time, but thanks for making that right.

After receiving my car from a recent $700 service, I noticed the bumper skid plate I requested to be installed was hanging on one screw. It takes three screws to secure this plate. On top of that my battery dies. You would thing they would check the battery during the service and recommend a new battery. This is the last time I bring my Vette here. I'm looking elsewhere for future business.

ROBERT HERNANDEZ misdiagnosed my 2016 Chevy Cruz and charged me, a college student, $400 to fix the problem only for my check engine light to come back on a week later! Then when I brought it back in I found out the ORIGINAL problem repair was actually all under warranty!!!!!!! I PAID $400 FOR A FIX I DID NOT NEED! I brought it to their attention and Robert told me the repairs were only a recommendation and anything could ve happened since your last visit

Took a 2005 chevy equinox in for service last month for a window issue and vibration/noise which I thought was a wheel bearing. Cost me $1000 and when I picked it up, the window was still broken and the vibration/noise hadn't changed at all! Turns out they did $1000 of unnecessary repairs. When I took it back to try to get the correct repairs, they quoted me almost $4000! So I took it to 3A in glendale - best mechanics ever. Turns out the problem was ... A WHEEL BEARING. $250 later and my car is fantastic now. That's $1000 I'll never see again. Thanks chevy for ripping off a broke college student.

My visits was by far the most amazing so far. Luckily I was helped out my Miguel, who was so professional and so easy going. He made sure I was taken care of, he called me to let me know my car needed additional services and that he could fix it there and then. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was greeted by Paul who was also aaaaamazing. He set up all my paperwork, so I could be ready to be checked out. While Miguel was checking me out Paul gave me the VIP service. Paul brought my car out to the front, backed up in a parking spot, had the AC going for me so that when I got in, it would be nice and cool. They both did and amazing job with helping me out that day. I could not have been happier any other place. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy. They are gonns be my to go guys eveytime. The only word I could use to describe both them and the service is just AMAZING!

They had little to no customer service skills. I spoke with multiple different salesman and managers. all of which were rude. They failed to have the vehicle I wanted available to drive ( lost the keys). They hung up the phone on me and took multiple hours to respond after telling me many times they would get back to me right away. Do not go to this dealership, Waste of time.

People are ok here . Went here cause I purchased a 2017 Chevy Silverado back in 2017 . When I went in 2017 it was great very good sales person Tony now is a business manager. I had asked for him by first and last name was lied to and told he didn't work there anymore. Then they tried to lie about the total ending price by 10,000. They will give you well below the price of what a vehicle is worth so when you buy a car they try to get the MSRP discount back it's a total scam they will make up the money discounted. Truly disgusting I will not return nor will I have any of my family which also purchased two vehicles from there I will never ever return to this dealership very unprofessional and with everything going on right now right now is not the time to take advantage of people you ought to be ashamed of yourself

If I could give 0 stars I would. My car was towed in late at night after the transmission gave out half way to San Diego. ONLY the young lady who stayed late to provide me a loaner car was semi attentive and partially provided customer service. From there on out, this has been one of my worst experiences with a service department. My car was not, and is still not at 100%. My key, which was just fine when I dropped off my vehicle, was broken somewhere in the process and I was told it would cost $115+ to repair it. I didn't even break it! And to put the key in to the headaches ignition is also now a problem after having had 'service' here. My transmission is still jerky and having been the original issue, should already be fixed, but isnt. From the beginning I was offered all these additional services with a cost, even before the original problem was fixed. When I declined, it was as if all interest was lost in fixing any of the issues (covered under warranty) were of no concern. I was offered a free car wash and detail to make up for the mess, and even then, no detail was done on my car, and the wash was half assed. My car is STILL not working properly, and came out with more issues than when I dropped it off. The 'service' here is horrible, and I am short of just going to a Chevy dealer 30 miles away where I know I'll get great service, instead of this location just 2 miles away where every single experience I've had has been sad and disgusting.

So my 2016 Chevy impala broke down on me again. So Chevy roadside assistance towed to Courtesy Chevrolet they looked at it and said it was the starter. With my warranty they had to tow it to Gateway Chevrolet and it was covered. Now 3 days later Gateway says it was loose wires no starter. So now I need to pay $139.50 plus tax for diagnosis and $120 for towing. When they could have fixed this. I am LIVID RIGHT NOW.

I will honestly say "Gateway Chevrolet" has truly gone above & beyond what I would have expected from any auto dealership I've encountered. I was so pleased to have been given the pleasure to personally meet both their service manager and auto sales manager and I can honestly say they are truly the best in all the valley for any and all auto service. So if you are looking to buy new or just repair your current auto I advice to be upfront & clear on just what you will need and I believe they will absolutely go beyond what you would be expecting. Took me 30 mins to get my car. I waited 5 mins for someone to acknowledge my presence (horrible wait time...should I wait 5 mins at a restaurant to be acknowledged???). Upon waiting, I witness two elder gentlemen being disrespected by employees. They were talking down to them, and walking right past them, and being rude when conversing with them. I kept my cool and even helped one of the elder gentlemen. After my experience at gateway, I appreciate the dealership in Iowa I used to go to. Look it up- community Chevrolet in cedar falls Iowa. From one boss to another, do your job.

TIP of the day. If you want to sale a vehicle dont scare your customers away. As a business owner I know rule number one the customer is always right and if you don't agree simply agree to disagree. Looking at all the beautiful positive comments and negative ones in regards to the service that is being provided I will not be stopping by. Hopefully in the future the service being provided to the customers improves which will in return up your ratings and sales. Best of luck!

After seeing how bad they tried ripping me off, I would not recommend anyone go there for parts, labor, or to purchase a vehicle. Scam artists like these guys are why the automotive industry has a bad name.

Worst service department experience!! Had an appointment with Ted for an oil change and he told me it will take 2.5 hours for it because he had a lot of walk in appointments. You would think that people with appointments would have priority but he rudely told me no. What's the point of making an appointment if they just let all these walk-ins go ahead of you. This service department needs to have better customer service before I go back.

We had very specific things that we wanted and we got them all with the vehicle we were sold. Jordan was friendly and made the experience personal for us. Many people also stayed later than they normally would have because we decided to buy that night. great work!!!

How sad that the sales strategy is to play with the numbers, a grotesque way of selling, as well as intimidation by the seller and supervisor.
Where was that seller where what mattered was customer satisfaction, not just another number for him and the agency, where they explained more of the characteristics of the car
Since the brand is worth it and not the arrogance of both the kindness towards the client and not that they send you to bring your chair to sit and see a computer where only they have control of the stocks where they deny you a car but offer you another with a discount disque to finish off an enormous pressure between the salesman and supervisor with another louder tone of voice at the end of the negotiation to intimidate
What a bad experience happen hopefully change your sales strategy for customer satisfaction and not your pocket this is a win win gentlemen

The most pleasant experience I've had buying anything. My car was claimed a loss a few days before xmas, and was pressing for a car. I worked with Jose at Gateway Chevrolet, and he was great. He was patient with my girlfriend and I, and talked to us like he had known us for awhile. Not only that, but he was forward with information. My last experience with a different dealership was pretty rough to say the least, and this was the complete polar opposite. I'd recommend you stop in and ask for Jose L. directly. The dealership itself was very nice, and the rest of the staff also friendly and helpful. Thanks again Jose!

I made the mistake of coming here with a simple repair and oil change. Big mistake. They didn t do the simple repair, tried to up sell, and put the wrong weight oil in it. They tried to tell me it was just fine. Run it awhile and it will heat up just fine. I was about to return to Minnesota with below zero temps. If you are a single woman DON T come here. There are honest ones out there but not here. Oil changes don t cost $59 but they do here. Avoid this place.

I had an appointment scheduled for 11:30 a.m., but my vehicle wasn't started until 1:10 p.m. All went well for the oil change, which was completed at 1:30 p.m. The car wash area was down as well, but they said I could come in next week for one. Otherwise they're awesome!

Poor service bought a used vehicle with an extended warranty now they refuse to repair my vehicle. The transmission was supposedly rebuilt by their service department a few months ago and now some bolts came loose and the driveline fell off going down the road now its up to me to repair the damage from the repair that was made at this dealership never buy again from this dealer.
Ok, to respond to your response its not about working with my insurance which one of your employees recommended which would be insurance fraud your service department worked on my truck and failed to tighten bolts this is a come back on your service department nothing to do with our insurance you can word it so it sounds like your helping you are just covering up the problem i wish i could give this dealership a negative 5 star you are dishonest and you know it, again i purchased an extended warranty which i can not use because you commited fraud by selling me a warranty that will not work even though it states that every problem or part that the truck has had an issue with is covered by said warranty that you sold me but its a come back from your service department which rebuilt the transmission either way its covered by the warranty i purchased or by your workmanship

UPDATE: I love that even though they have my information they contacted my dad(a male) to "apologize" but not me(female). I see they responded to me and told me to call Jeremy, who took my info as well, on my last visit there, and promised to contact me. Why should I call anyone to resolve an issue when I had been trying for over a month and none of these people got back to me like they were supposed to? I still have never heard from anyone. This is a joke. If I could give negative stars I would. Do not ever go to this place, they dont respect you or your time.

My father has been coming to this dealership since we moved to Arizona in 2001. Because he always trusted them I continued going when I was started driving in 2005. I have gone out of my way and travelled(most recently)an hour to this location for service and I am done. Now when things went wrong with my car, I would take it in to be serviced. John Sheldon was the service guy I always dealt with and he will RIP YOU OFF faster than you can blink if you are a female. Now I can only assume this discriminatory behavior is because I'm a female, because of these reasons. The last time I saw him I knew exactly what the problem was, not uncommon. I didnt have the tools to fix it myself, like my dad and I normally do, and he tried to tell me more was wrong with my car. I told him I only needed the 1 problem fixed he was very pushy and argumentative that I NEED the rest fixed until he realized who my dad was. He immediately stopped pushing the other "very important" things that "needed to be repaired ASAP" and said "okay yeah we will just do what you came for" and was very nice to me after. This is not uncommon behavior from John. He has done it a few times to me, but He NEVER pulls this kind of behavior with my younger brother or father. Ever since then my dad will take my car for me and he never has any problems. Go figure huh. Most recently, I was in a hit and run and was wanting to take my car in to the collision center. I called every week for a month and left voice mails every time and never got a call back. I finally went in on Saturday morning to try and talk to someone in person. Well the girl at the front desk informed me the collision center is closed on weekends but the manager for that area was in and she would try to get him to help me out. He ended up telling her he was busy with a car and wouldn't talk to me but had me leave my name and phone number and promised he would contact me personally on Monday(yesterday)to handle this. Well its Tuesday and I haven't heard from him. This was the final straw. I will NEVER come back to this location and I urge everyone to find a different location who actually will care.

Today I got a phone call at 7:30 AM informing me that Andy ext 1338 the adjuster at Commonwealth told Pete at the Collision center just to bend back a bracket That would cost $125 to replace .I am not going to let this die down. I would ve had my truck by now if Andy would have okayed the $125 last week

Great customer service, for as long as they are getting money out of you. The service adviser misdiagnosed the vehicle twice then wanted to charge $1k just to tear the engine apart. Left the vehicle in their possession as I looked for a transport out of state. They put the vehicle in their back lot with the windows down. Obviously they do not care about others personal property. Spend the extra money and go to another more reputable dealer or mechanic.

Though we are pretty happy with our car, I was very much not happy with the buying experience. When we first walked in, it took a long time to get someone who would talk to us. We were given a newbie sales agent who basically didn't know the answer to any of our questions and would "go back and talk to his manager" for every single one. Every single time (and we had a lot of questions) it was another 15-20 minutes to wait for an answer. He wasn't able to answer most of the questions about the car we were interested in either.

That sales guy had another sales guy come out to help answer questions about the car. It's a hybrid and we had specific questions. Well, we were told that this second sales guy owned one himself or knew a lot about hybrids. When he sat down, he looked annoyed, bothered, and completely inconvenienced by us. We asked "So can you help us with some specific questions about hybrids? We were told you're more of an expert" and he shrugged and said something to the effect of "yeah not really". Did NOT feel taken care of.

When we finally got to talk about the price of the vehicle, a "manager" came out and refused to work with us on negotiating a price. We didn't even want that much difference, but it was a flat out refusal. We even were using the USAA Car Buying service which guaranteed us $225 off (good god guys, it's only a couple hundred bucks that means nothing to you but a lot to us) and you guys refused to give us that. That seemed pretty harsh.

All in all we were at the dealer for EIGHT hours. How does it take EIGHT hours to buy a damn car. I feel like we were given the run around, that nobody was very organized or prepared. I was so hungry I needed to use the vending machine to get a snack but that machine ate $2.00 of mine and the receptionist was basically like "yeah, sorry about that". Too much waiting, too much unprofessionalism, too much not-wanting-to-work-with-us. I like the finance guy the best, he was the most organized... but even there, we were told that since we were USAA customers it would be a 10 minute process. We were in that office for over 40 minutes. So... yeah... not terribly impressed with the dealership. Sorry.

They just made me wait 2 hours and 45 minutes for my oil change, so time to dish:

If I didn't have to take my vehicle here per warranty, I would never come here. Every time I need service, I stand in the service entry area for a good 10 minutes before someone actually talks to me about my vehicle. Every time I get an oil change, it takes over 2 hours, even when they have a mostly empty waiting room. I constantly watch people who came in after me leave before me. They always show more concern for how they will get paid than the service to my vehicle. Once my warranty is up, I will never come here again.

Don t waste your time with this dealership. The sales people are great but David from finance needs some additional training in customer service. We have great credit yet he decided, two offers in, that he was done with us and sent us on our way. You could tell even the sales gentleman was disappointed but did not say a thing. He literally just threw our key at us and he was done. They lost a potential customer based on one individuals attitude and so I will definitely warn friends and family to stay away.

Stopped here for an oil change on a multi state drive. Called ahead and asked if they had a quick lube. They said they did. Was quoted about 1:00-1:30, maybe less if we didn't elect the car wash at the end. Made appointment. Arrived. I was one of only 2 people waiting for my vehicle onsite. It took 2 hours. They put my car on the lift at the 1:45 mark and the oil change and multi point inspection itself too less than 15 mins. I would rate this as the worst Chevy Dealership I have ever been to, and will never go back when in the Phx area. Very disappointing. Go to a dealership that values your time.

I wasn t able to make a deal that day but came back in today and was able to make a deal and Naomi was just as professional and helpful as the last time.
